I finally asked the waitress, who was in the process of ignoring me some by just walking by, how I could order a sandwich. She said to have a seat and I told i just wanted something to go. She walked off and assisted the two people who came in AFTER me. I walked out and went across the street to Rosa Mezcal, where i was provided extremely prompt and polite service. Don't know if I'll ever go back. EDIT TO ADD June 15, 2026: My experience here as per above was apparently as an isolated occurrence, and I'm glad I went back per the invite from the Owner. BEST sandwich (BW Italian) that was fresh tasting and packed with meat and produce, coupled with the BEST potato salad ever. And don't even get me started on the Rocky Road Cookie.... Our service and meal were absolutely fantastic. I wish I could remember our server's name, but she took care of our group of about 12 in the back room and was on top of everything all night. She was so kind, patient, and willing to repeat things when needed, which is huge when you have that many people trying to get attention at once. She even thanked us for coming in, which was such a sweet touch. The food was amazing. She accidentally brought out an extra side of squash puppies and let us keep them, so I tried them even though I hadn't ordered them. Let me tell you, you HAVE to order them. They were absolutely divine, and the butter and jam they come with are incredible. I started with a salad, which was also very good, and then ordered the chicken bruschetta based on our server's recommendation. The Brussels sprouts were insane, so flavorful and easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. The bruschetta was delicious too, and I ended up eating almost all of it. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would recommend Pub W to anyone. The back room was the perfect spot for our large group and had such a fun, relaxed vibe. I have not seen the "very verbose" server, who had interrupted us continually on my first visit. Guess he doesn't work there anymore. Since then, servers have been attentive, but not overly so, and congenial. The restaurant is always clean. This includes the ladies' restroom. We usually get the Pick 2. The chupacabra sandwich is delicious. I've also had the fried shrimp and the fisherman's platter at different times. Both excellent. Suffice it to say, deciding to give Pub W a second try was well worth the effort.

We had to get up with drink glasses and go chase down water refills. They kept the glasses and about a minute later the waiter walk by with our water glasses and gave them to two other people at a different table. I bought him on the way back by our table and said excuse me but you just gave our water to that table up front. He said oh yes, I did. I suggested he retrieve the 2 glasses of water before they drank out of them. He did do that. Brought them. Back to our table without us knowing if they drank out of our glasses.
