More of these please! I really hope this takes off and becomes a chain. The food is delicious! And when we looked it up after eating it and discovered that they were impossible patties I couldn't believe it. Such a satisfying burger! read more

Great food and service. The new pumpkin pie shake is fantastic! My daughter and I eat there at least once a week. I am very happy to have them near us. Molly Hughes read more

I was today in Kingston NY.Looking at Campworld RV.Just looking after we were hungry. My wife was checking the area for somewhere to eat.I was not to happy with her choice she said how about a burger . I'm not a big fan of hamburgers. You know the saying happy wife happy life.We get there it's a drive-thru. I'm not feeling it the lady outside greets us .Then says all the burgers are plant based. My first thought was to leave.my wife says well its healthy let's try it.We tried it.We were blown away to say the least. It was the best burger. I ever ate. I loved it we came back 10 minutes later an ordered more to take back to the city.I want to thank Jeremy for the best burger ever. read more

It's so cute. Really unique drive-thru, I wish more places looked like this. Such a personality. The burger itself I didn't like. I could only eat half & then sadly through the rest away (& I tend to finish everything!). I think I just don't like impossible burgers. I like veggie burgers, I like beef burgers, but something about impossible burgers taste off to me. The hot fries were decent. The staff were very sweet. read more

Holy No-Cow!!! Fabulous oat milk Shakes?!?! YES!!! Burgers are delicious!!! The special recipe sauce, crispy onions & crispy pickles were the perfect combination!!! They are all in on their business plan and execute well!!! My husband went to the drive thru on a Friday night and he was back in 20 minutes and everything was perfect!!! The hot fries were excellent!!! So grateful to be able to go to a burger joint again!!! read more

We were in the neighborhood to attend the Catskill Christmas Express and stopped here on our way home. I'm so sorry to say, but what a disappointment. I'm not a vegetarian but often eat as such. $38 later and my husband and I just looked at each other. Also - that shake is gross. We tried to like it, but after trying to get down a few sips, couldn't even bother. I hate writing this review but have to be honest. Don't waste your money. read more

So good, quick, easy, and best of all it's plant based, I love it! Only wish the portions were a bit bigger

Fantastic - Fantastic - Fantastic - The burgers are very flavorful, and the fries are devine. if you haven't had an impossible burger, you wouldn't know it wasn't beef, and if you had an impossible burger before and didn't like it, this will change your mind. read more

Moonburger - Burgers Near Me - Kingston, New York

My wife and I went to Moonburger after hearing the good press and ordered two full moon combos, hot fries and a shake. The burgers were awesome. Great flavor and the fried onions were a perfect touch. My wife is dairy free and she couldn't stop talking about the shake. Highly recommend. read more

As a meat eater, i thought this would be a great alternative to shitty fast food joints. Sadly, it was not. Maybe ppl seek "impossible" burgers as an alternative to a beef patty... i have avoided this in the past because i don't enjoy a thick patty anyway... heard this place made em thin... anyhoo, not good. Ate half, the Tossed it. Not good. And whatever that 'shake' was.... read more

I admit to being a carnivore, but I often eat vegetarian and usually like it. I had a hamburger at the Secret Vegan Cafe recently and it was excellent. So, I was hoping for a similar experience at Moonburger. Unfortunately, I found the burger patty flavorless, i hardly noticed the cheese, the lettuce was minimal and wilted, the pickle was good and I liked the bun. The fries were great, Overall, I ate the burger, but I won't be back. One thing a vege burger needs is seasoning--how hard is that? A slice of tomato would be nice, too. read more

Wow. The best alternative meat burger that I've ever had, and I've had some really great ones. I ordered the classic burger, hot fries, and the brownie batter shake. The wait was about three cars long on a weekday evening at 6:30 pm. I couldn't tell that the burger wasn't real beef, likely because of the way they processed the impossible meat. The soft potato roll and the smashed patty was reminiscent of Shake Shack, but the pickles and crispy French onions took it beyond. I wasn't even hungry, but I inhaled the burger. I'm obsessed with this place and can't wait to go back. read more

The burger is delicious. The sauce, combined with the crispy onions...man. So good. The brownie batter shake is out of this world. Also out of this world? The wait time. Jesus Christ. My husband and I have now gone twice and both times there were about 10 cars in front of us and both times it took 45 minutes just to get up to the front to order. Then 10 more minutes until we got to the window to get our food. I can only assume this is not intentional - serving 12 people an hour has got to be a money-losing proposition. So, I assume (hope?) they will figure out how to expedite the ordering process. The food is great, but I am not sure it's worth an HOUR wait every single time. If you want a delicious vegetarian/vegan fast-food burger, go check it out. If you don't have an hour to wait for a vegetarian/vegan fast-food burger, don't. read more

Have not been to Moonburger in quite sometime. I was highly excited to once again partake in their food. It was Definingly a disappointment this go around. I waited in line roughly 15 minutes, only to receive my food and the cheeseburger was warm and the hot fries were cold as if they were sitting for a while. The Pumpkin Pie shake was the only thing worth buying. read more

Great vegan food, with a very cute building. Amazing prices for great quality impossible burgers. The hot fries are delicious, and the shakes are high quality. A must stop for any vegan. read more

I am not a vegetarian and these impossible burgers are outstanding. Crisp lettuce, crunchy onions, and special sauce round out a near perfect flavor experience. And the fries are awesome with their signature cheese sauce. A must try. read more

Moonburger - Cheeseburger - Burgers Near Me - Kingston, New York

Fake meat hamburgers. They are NOT good and they don't advertise that they are meatless. Now you know. Spread the word

Absolutely LOVE this place! From start to finish the experience was pretty wonderful. I came with a few friends on a beautiful sunny Sunday at 1:30pm. Line was a few cars long, but was kept moving by what I would soon learn was very pleasant and efficient drive-thru service. The teller was kind and quick. He got our order down quickly and within minutes we were picking up our food and on our way. We tried everything on the menu. Cheeseburger was incredible - rivaling a shake shack burger. The double onion was yum yum yum. The hot fries were so perfect. The cheese sauce - YES! This feels like your neighborhood burger joint, but for the modern day. Soft squishy potato buns, juicy patty, pickle and fried onion for a zingy crunch, a caramelized onion for depth of flavor, lettuce, and a secret sauce. I could go on... they did forget one Diet Coke - but no big deal. Finally, the chocolate shake. Creamy, chocolatey, and dairy free?! I mean - what's not to like.We cruised around drinking our shakes listening to music and laugh, laugh, laughing. Nostalgia city over here. Moonburger is a must in the area. read more

food was good, but there was only one person ahead of me, waited 25 minutes anyway, got no cheese on my cheeseburger, and a small fry instead of a large. kids in there are having too much fun, but hey they probably make $15 an hour. read more

Hot garbage. Burger came smashed. It tasted OK, but wasn't as good as any meat burgers I've had. Fries were mediocre, and the "hot" fries didn't taste hot at all. And since everything here is organic and vegan, it's super overpriced. Don't bother. read more

Stopped here by accident and loved it!! Got the classic with fries and it was so light and yummy!!! The special sauce and crispy onions put this burger on a higher plane!!!! read more

I never have written a review on a fast food restaurant and it gives me no pleasure to do so but I feel compelled to do so for MoonBurger in Kingston NY. My husband and I had see a line of cars at the place and it peaked our interest. On the day I went, I was 1 of 2 cars at 12:30pm and considered myself lucky. There was a very friendly guy who met me and explained what the only 2 items were on the menu (Hamburger or Cheeseburger) You could have fries and a drink with that so I ordered a CB and fries. I drove around to the window and was greeted and told I owed $10.56 for my order.....WOW that was extremely high so I thought that I was going to get the best CB I'd ever had. After waiting about 4 minutes and seeing 5-6 people inside who seemed to turn around in circles without doing much I got my CB. I said to the gal "Is the CD down in the middle" and she looked at me like what do you mean, of course. I went home, cut my CB in half to share with my husband and IT WAS RAW in the middle!!!!!. Plus we were shocked that for $10.56 we got a 'little' piece of lettuce that did not cover the whole bun, a few caramelized onions and a pickle. WOW certainly no value there!!!. After we cooked the Burger we sat down to eat it with the heated up fries. The burger had 'filler' meaning it was not all burger meat in it and we give the flavor a rating of 1. DO NOT eat your burger before checking to see if it is cooked!!!. You may get sick! read more

The burgers and fries were great and on their own I would rate them a five. The shake not so much. I also think they should offer unsweetened ice tea. Otherwise, very enjoyable, and as someone who eats meat, I didn't miss the real stuff- nor did the two people I was with. The only other reason for a 4 instead of a 5 is the physical space, it's very squishy to get your car around and then you have to consider where you want to eat once you get your food. The scenic places they suggest on an app are too far and the nearby options are the Park and Ride by the thruway, the neighboring Quickcheck (who I'm sure would not appreciate it) or the Hanford shopping mall down the road. We opted for the mall and we ended up getting additional drinks at Hannaford to replace the two shakes that none of us thought were worth the calories. I would love for them to open another location and offer some interior seating because I like the food just not the setup (or the shakes). read more

I went here a few weeks ago and I can't recommend it enough! The burger was truly incredible! The combo of melted cheese, fried onions plus pickles is *chef's kiss* i can't stop thinking about it and I'm counting the days till I can go back. The milkshake was pure chocolate delish. read more

Never had a plant burger before, so was skeptical going in. But the burger was so good, and the fries were even better! Will definitely be coming back here soon. Worth the wait! read more

Here is an update on my earlier review. As of now I have no idea what is being used as far as a bun. They are not frozen rolls. Maybe Martins who knows so if you like them then that is what matters. read more

I ordered two combo meals and two milkshakes. Wait time was a bit long They had me "pull up" to wait for my food which I didn't understand at first because if you go there you will see that it is a one way drive thru so there's not really anywhere to "pull up". When my food was finally brought out they gave me an extra fry for the wait, but they forgot one of my milkshakes. The food itself was not the best. Buns were soggy, patty flavor was decent but the condiments fell out as you ate it super messy! Milkshake tasted chalky. Probably wouldn't visit again as there are other vegetarian or vegan friendly options in close proximity that are less expensive, taste better, and more professional staff. read more

We stopped here on a whim while exiting off the NYS Thruway and we were not disappointed. The menu is simple but the burgers and fries do not disappoint. I didn't realize the burgers were 'vegan' and neither did my husband or son. This was actually a plus in my book. Extremely yummy and highly recommended if you're looking for a quick bite to fill your belly. read more

I'm not gonna hold you this shit was wicked ass like first of all I didn't even know I was eating a vegetarian burger cause the shit still felt unhealthy I pulled up and I asked for bacon on my burger and they said there's no bacon here the fuck you should've just told me that this was a vegan burger spot I wouldn't have ordered the fries were pretty good though not gonna lie but that shit was still trash because I still felt unhealthy after I eat it the bun was soggy there was hair in my fries but I still ate cause them shits was good to be honest I ain't even a yelp Kinda guy I had to download this bitch just to let y'all know save your bread shit is type expensive too not gonna hold you but I had to just get on the bitch and tell you how as it was and I'm not joking so don't go there even if you think I'm just joking because it's really trash y'all stay safe read more

I waited a long time to eat there and it wasn't worth the wait. I wouldn't mind spending $48.00 for 4 burger and 2 fries if the food is outstanding but it wasn't. I am glad I didn't have to wait 1 1/2 hours in line to get food from there. The portions were small the large fries were extremely small. I have been vegetarian 45+ years and this meal was a disappointment. It just didn't live up to the hype. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants ever. I had no idea it was ALL impossible meat for the burgers so that was a fun surprise for my meat loving boyfriend- he loves it. For the price of a burger and fries one can go over to the mid - Hudson buffet $10 burger King impossible burger is slightly bigger !

Burgers done right and they treat employees well. Hard to beat that combo. thanks Moonburger!

It's not worth it. For it being as pricey as it is, how long we waited(an hour in the drive thru) and it doesn't even taste that good. I would not recommend honestly. read more

You'll never need a beef burger after eating here. Yum and thanks for opening in Kingston!
