This Korean bbq spot is small, has limited seating, and doesn't have much ventilation. Those are about the only 3 bad things I can say about it. Now for the good things which there is a lot: The meat is great. I've noticed that the more popular Korean bbq spots like Gen or 92 in Torrance don't have good meat. This place 100% does. It tastes fresh. As for sides, you get kimchi, white rice, and a couple other things but there's also cilantro & onion mixed together which I thought was different. You get a salad and the assortment of sauce they provide was delicious. Their beer selection is mid but they offer soju too. I'm not very picky with beer. I enjoyed cass with my dinner. The brisket was great and if you like beef bulgogi, you would select their sirloin which is the same. The workers are incredibly friendly. They will change your grill, help put your food on the grill for you, clear out your table, etc etc. They all are very attentive. The tables are circular which is odd and then there's one big table in the back which is kind of in its own little room. I came on a Wednesday night and it was slightly busy so I can only imagine what a weekend night is like here. The music is fun & the food truly is 5 stars. I love Moon bbq. I will be back!

Food was good. The portions were a little smaller that some other places I've been to. Which is fine, I'm assuming they do this so no one wastes food. One lady server who didn't speak at all was the sweetest person ever. Loved her! She was so kind. The other one not so much.

Their soybean stew is a perfect pairing to their pork belly.

They have one of the highest quality meat, beef n stew. Not to mention highly attentive service, never once did at have to request out grill to be changed. They are on top of their game! Indoor is an old school golf in the wall in an alley type setup but it's still comfortable for a small party. Depending on hour busy they are they have a separate section for larger groups but might be taken up depending on good buddy they are

Extremely friendly staff with quick efficient service. Yummy meats. They hit the spot when you're craving AYCE KKBBQ. Dark and moody, very loud.

Moon BBQ in Gardena is such a nice, cozy AYCE Korean BBQ spot! We booked here because they actually take reservations for groups over 5 people -- most Korean BBQ places only accept reservations for 10+, so this was a huge plus. The food was delicious and the servers were friendly and attentive. I especially loved their beef tongue and steamed egg, and the sirloin was really good too. Definitely worth the money! Parking in the mall can get a little tight at times, but there's always street parking nearby. Highly recommended!

This place was referred to me by a friend and it was really good. I enjoyed my experience here. Food: I chose option A for $34.99 per person all you can eat on selected items, and I had the beef brisket, tenderloin, beef short ribs, blazing chicken, and a steamed egg. My favorite was definitely the beef short ribs as it was packed with flavor! Service: I came on a Monday night, slightly busy, but not crowded. I was seated immediately. The waiters were really nice and helpful, as it was only my 2nd time experiencing Korean bbq. Ambiance: the place is small and cute, located in a small shopping center with a parking lot. Tables are kind of close together, and seats weren't the most comfortable.

Moon has been my k-bbq spot for yearrsssss!! They have the best selection of meat especially the spicy pork belly. Their kimchi noodle soup and steamed egg is the best, I order it every time. It's a must. The experience here is not like any other k-bbq place. You're sitting on these little stools around the grill it just feels like a unique experience. The service here is amazing they really make you feel like family. Every time I go they're always greeting me with huge smiles and hugs since I've known them for so long. I highly recommend!

I yelped around some places and found a Chinese buffet. Buffets are good cause everybody gets to choose what they want and there's enough choices to keep everybody happy. Heck, these Chinese buffets even have American food like ribs, pizza and French fries. This place, China Buffet, not the most imaginative name, is pretty decent sized and seems to have a lot more choices than the small town buffets I've seen. More of the more authentic Chineasy stuff that I have no idea what it is, but there's plenty of choices of familiar stuff to keep us all fed, like hot and sour soup, all kinds of noodles and egg rolls and ribs and veggies. Service was the normal Asian buffet service, not friendly, just efficient at filling drinks and clearing the plates. The decor and ambiance was comfortably warm, pleasant and welcoming with the carpeted dining area and nice wall art. Service was just as warm and friendly. I loved a wide selection of food to sample. The seafood dishes weren't as tasty as the dishes at my favorite seafood buffet in Murrieta, CA, but it was satisfactory. The had freshly grilled chicken, meat, fish, and calamari in the back. Dinner price for AYCE was a mere $24.99 on a Friday and $2.35 for a soda w/ free refills. Can't go wrong with so many options to sample and choose from. Highly recommend!

With the cost of groceries, gas, and dining out continuing to climb, people are looking for a place where they can get a good meal without spending a fortune. This place fits the bill. If you come before 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, lunch is around $15. That's about what you'd spend on a burger, fries, and a drink at some fast-food chains these days, except here you get an entire buffet with plenty of choices. The salad bar is well stocked and includes fresh fruit. They also have sushi rolls and nigiri. Is it sushi restaurant quality? No. But considering that one specialty roll at a sushi restaurant can cost $12-$16 by itself, it's a nice bonus. My favorite item is fried chicken. It's crispy, flavorful, and consistently juicy. I would gladly pay the lunch price just for the chicken. They also serve a very good pot roast, meaty pork ribs, and on Fridays they have a surprisingly good rib roast. Those are just a few of the highlights because there are plenty of other dishes to choose from. As for the staff, most of the employees appear to be young and may be working their first job. The cooks aren't trying to be gourmet chefs, they focus on preparing the buffet items well, and overall, they do a good job keeping the food coming despite how busy the restaurant gets. If you're looking for a fine dining experience prepared by professionally trained chefs, this probably isn't the place for you. But if your goal is to enjoy a wide variety of good food at a price that's hard to beat in today's economy, this buffet is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a crowd, that's usually a sign they're doing something right.

We did have to wait in line before getting seated. The wait wasn't too long for our party of 7 as it took maybe 15 min or so. The food was okay. It's what you would expect from an AYCE buffet like this. It's maybe on par with the likes of Golden Corral or Hometown Buffet (from back in the day). The highlight things to eat may be the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ where you load up your bowl with veggies, protein (chicken, pork, shrimp, beef, etc), noodles, and seasonings. Hand it over to the staff cook and they hand you a pager to notify you when done. The other food highlight may be the Japanese sushi area. While not the highest quality of ingredients, it was still decent for the price of the buffet and the fact that there's a staff member making the sushi rolls consistently rather than just leaving a bunch out in a tray to get old and dry. Definitely might be an even better deal as a lunch AYCE option. But for dinner it's still nice to go to.
