My group of 4 was seated right away around 8pm. The ambiance is just like any other Korean BBQ, loud with a lot of drinks and the smell of grilled meat. Service was immaculate 5/5. The servers and waiters went back and forth to our grill to offer their help and even cooked some of our meat. While trying their food my friends wanted to use their salad sauce as a dipping sauce for their brisket, a waiter noticed and provided us with their special brisket sauce with jalapeños instead. Excellent, great and swift service. Hostess and servers are very kind and energetic. Been coming here for years and I've never had a bad experience. Music always hits and energy is just right. One of the rare places in the area and it was about $35 :) They have a ton of sides: kimchi, salad, pickled coleslaw, pickled radish, rice paper, mashed potatoes, and cilantro. The meat was really good, but you have to cook it yourself. They switched the grills too often though so some of the meat got stuck because not enough fat got on it and the grill got too hot before they brought in the meat/they didn't tell us we could turn down the temp... The tables were also wwwaayy too small to fit all the sides, the beer, and the meat....it was very squished. read more

Moon BBQ doesn't disappoint. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Same goes for owner who we thought was just some guy we were talking to until he offered our son a free dessert. BEST AYCE in South Bay!! Also the best place for small intestines! We come here at least twice a month and the quality is always consistently great! The servers are very quick with everything. Sometimes it does get busy though, so you'll have to be a little patient when it's packed. Our favorites are always brisket, beef belly, tenderloin and small intestines. Every once in a while, we get some pork belly and marinated short ribs too (but my bf doesn't really like marinated stuff so when we order I get a half portion all to myself). Banchan is always fresh and it's unlimited so ya know if you like something, you can keep it coming as long as you're not being wasteful. This place is a solid 5 star for kbbq! First time at an AYCE in LA and impressed with Moon BBQ and will set the bar for the other AYCE we will try during our stay here. The parking is pretty small but the manager helped us with getting a parking spot. There is also parking on the street if there are no spots available. When we got inside the atmosphere felt like a traditional Korean bbq restaurant. People are sitting close to each other but separated by plastic dividers. Korean music playing in the background and the sound of meat sizzling at every angle. We were helped by Kara and her service was excellent and we got our order in right away. We went with option A ($31.99 per person) which includes a total of 22 different meats. We went with brisket, spicy pork belly, sirloin and steamed egg to start us off. The meat felt premium especially the pork belly. We loved the brisket as well. Our favorite was the steamed egg. It was so good we had 3 orders of it! We went a total of 4 rounds of different meats from the menu. The sauces and sides they provide is also pretty good. Service is great and once you put your order in it'll come within a few minutes. I would recommend the spicy pork belly as it's thinner than the fresh pork belly. Brisket is a must. The pork skin was different but we had to try as that's not served in Hawaii AYCE locations. The environment is super lively with kpop blasting in the background, different parties loudly conversing amongst each other, and the workers happily interacting with all their guests. It was about a 15 minute wait to be seated on a Friday night at 8pm. The service was really quick and all the ladies working were attentive and treated you like an old friend. We never had to wait for a grill change and our rounds always came right after the other. We opted for option A, which was about $33/person. It included meats like brisket, tenderloin, two types of pork belly, short rib, and beef belly among others. All the meats we had were great quality; they were thinly sliced and didn't have too much fat. All the sides tasted fresh as well (potatoes were my favorite). We even got a complimentary bowl of soup with our meal. The only thing that kind of threw off my experience was that they had the next party that would be seated at our table standing basically right next to us. It kind of felt like we were being rushed out. Luckily, we were pretty much done anyways. Moom BBQ is an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) Korean barbecue place! My favorite cut of meat was the spicy pork belly, and my friends favorite was the marinated beef short ribs. The spicy pork belly was tender, sweet, slightly savory, and covered with a spiciness that was perfect with their jiggly, airy, honestly one of the best AYCE steamed eggs I've tried. The short ribs were marinated perfectly and even if slightly overcooked it was extremely tender, smokey, sweet and delicious, my friends absolutely loved this cut of meat and it's no wonder that it is limited to one per person. And I rarely compliment service like this but Moon BBQ had the most attentive and frequent service I've ever had, we probably had around 25 grill changes without asking, and our rotation of waiters would always unexpectedly come to help cut and cook our meats! (Truly thank you so much! I love this KBbq place so much! The price is right and quality of food is amazing. I think the variety of meat is so good for the price you pay. The sides are so yummy! It gets pretty busy here and the parking lot is small so try to get here early. I think the service is A+++++ . The hostesses here are so kind and friendly. They often go out of their way to provide stellar service. One of the most important is they always cater and care for my small children. The banchan is basic, and seating is very cozy on backless stools. But the variety and quality of meat are decent.

Seating area was small and squished. Table was low so seating down was a little uncomfortable not much room to move. The smoke while cooking was all over our face so we didn't really enjoy cooking let alone eating but we were already cooking. Took my mom out for dinner on Saturday. She wanted to try kbbq in the local South Bay area. I told her moon bbq is the best.. luckily, we didn't have to wait though the parking in the lot was full. We parked in the streets which says 2 hour parking but I don't think they care. At first glance, my mom was surprised if the choice of meets she could choose from. From the start, my mom started to order 3 meats and she kept ordering more and more. I had to tell my mom to slow down, because our plate and grill was still full of meat.
