Still one of my favorite places to get Korean soup. Our go to is still the Soondae soup. The pork meat sampler combo is now a separate order vs a combo option, but still just as hearty and delicious. They now do a soup coupon deal where you buy a punch card for $150 and you get 10 meals out of it with 11 dishes to select from. The only catch is it's not shareable, as in if you came here with a friend, the punch card can only be used for your meal. Great deal as some of the items are ranging $18-20/plate... so you save up to $5 per meal depending on the order. If I lived closer I would definitely get the coupon deal. The kimchi is still the best in the area, so fresh and crisp. Clean restaurant, great service from the ladies working here. Really tasty soondae in Colorado!
Back home in Hawaii we have the same chain restaurant that sells the soondaeguk. I was obsessed with that back home and while I am out in Colorado, I was surprised to find this chain restaurant here too. So I had to go and try. The restaurant itself wasn't as big as the one we have back home but it's was a nice clean space and felt very homey. The people there are so very nice as well and they ask if you want hot or cold water. I opt for the hot water which is of course their hot barley tea. While I am here I order my usual soondaeguk and soondae mix plate. I order the extras because I feel like the amount of meat and sausage in the soup isn't enough lol that or I'm just a big eater!! Either way I'm always satisfied after that meal!!! I will say that the broth here has wayyy more flavor than the broth back home. I really like depth in flavor of the bone broth which made the soup taste so much better after adding in my salty shrimp paste and crushed perilla seeds to enhance the broth flavor!! If I'm in Colorado again, I'm definitely coming back here to get my soondaeguk fix!!!
this may have been the best short rib of my life,,,thank god you have another location,,,san diego will be seeing me when we ordered, i thought things were a bit expensive. however when the dish came out, i realized it had MASSSSSSSIVEEE chunks of meat on even larger bones. the sauce was sweet, not to an unbalanced profile, but it complemented the spice and savoriness of the meat. i floated after the first bite wow it was really tender as well. i appreciate the tongs, scissors, and glove that the gave us too! it helped with eating the whole thing. i kid you not this was some of the best banchan ive had too. the kimchi had a great slight fishiness, not too tart which is perfect for me. both the radish and kimchi had the freshest crunch that is sometimes hard to come by. usually i'm used to more variety but the flavors and textures of these two. the spicy brisket stew was delicious!! reminded me of mama instant noodle taste which i love. i wish there were more glass noodles but there was soooooo much brisket that substituted my craving well. the tteokbokki was probably the most underwhelming dish. i think for $10, the portion is tiny and the sauce is just mild and a big thinner than im used to. the tteok itself was a good texture, but the short rib dish had tteok too which was swimming in that heavenly sauce. we just ended up mixing the tteok and short rib dish to create the best of both worlds. i love how they package their to go containers too - airtight fast service and kind owners
Known for their soondae, but perhaps even better are their soups and kimchi! We loved this hearty meal and were so pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of their kimchi as well. Everything is very generously portioned, and we left after the meal feeling absolutely ballooned. The owners are friendly and hardworking. Lots of indoor seating, can fill up pretty quickly even on a Monday evening!
This place was very clean, all of my silverware and glasses were shiny. The food was good but I felt it lacked flavor. The banchan was very spicy!! almost hard to enjoy. Typically there would be none left but due to spice I had to save it for later. I was looking forward to the egg but even that one lacked a bit of flavor. I was still happy. I just have had better korean food. I feel like Denver lacks this, which is why I took the drive to Aurora expecting to be blown away. I still cant find better korean food than a place back in the springs. The most delicious thing I had here was their broth. I picked the bowl up to my lips and all. I originally came here for the beef rib soup, but didnt see it on the menu so ordered the dolsot bibimbap.
Moobongri is an area in Korea known for its soondae (Korean blood sausage) and is also one of the most popular, if not the most popular, soondae chain restaurants in Korea. Having had Moobongri Soondae in Korea before, I was both excited and nervous to try this location's. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. First off, the restaurant is squeaky clean from the dining area to the bathrooms. No matter how good the food is, if a restaurant is dirty, it's an automatic turn-off for me. The food was not exactly like the one I had in Korea but it was pretty close! The best thing here is the kimchi. The kimchi is probably the best and most authentic I have had in Colorado. The spicy soondae soup had a deep flavor and was really good with a healthy portion of meat. The side plate of meats was good but, again, just doesn't have that exact Korean flavor which is masked when put into the soup. I would definitely not get the tteokbbokki here. It was very watery and flavorless. No stars were taken away for the tteokbbokki though since they really aren't known for that. Service was spot on. We never had to wait too long on anything. Big thumbs up here because we had some leftovers to go and they have a cool plastic wrap machine that really secures everything. They also gave me some extra kimchi! This place definitely has the best soondae in Colorado!
DELICIOUS. Camera definitely didn't get to eat first. We devoured the food as soon as it came out. Authentic Korean food for great value. Their house kimchi is so good. Ordered the bulgogi and spicy beef soup with glass noodles. Would've ordered the soondae but I don't eat pork. It looked really good though! If there was a halal soondae I would definitely come back to try it.
The spicy pork neck bone soup is so tasty! I tried it for the first time with my family and it did not disappoint! So much flavor! It's a must try. I'll be back for some more. I tried the soondae for that first time too. It's doesn't compare with the bone soup but it's equally good.
Very interesting soup spot. Literal perfection on a cold day when you've wrapped up your shopping at either arash market or both. I had the oxtail which was very nourishing and my wife had the spicy beef brisket which had great flavor. Enjoyed the radish and kimchi banchans. Overall very satisfying meal. Will be more adventurous and try the soondae next time.
When I heard they had daechang which a large intestines I had to bring my family immediately! The other times I have come here I usually order the soups but the large intestines were a great dish to share amongst the four of us. The crispy outer layer and the juicy/fatty interior was perfect! It also came with a bunch of chives that were fried next to it which was perfect to cut through the fat. I can't wait to come back here and order this again! Also the aunties in the restaurant here always take such good care of their customers and show us how to eat everything.
When they first opened I loveed their soondae guk as their broth was nice and rich. But then the next couple months it started tasting mehh alright. Decided to visit again this week and its back to tasting rich and delicious!!!! they also now have alot more dishes added to their menu. I loveeee their donkatsu. And this time the katsu was MASSIVE in size. Definitely will be back to try the bulgogi stew (they were sold out of bulgogi when I went :/ its my favoritee)
I was really craving some soondae soup and Moobongri has the best soondae soup in this area hands down! I ended up also ordering a family size platter of grilled intestines and I am so glad I did! It was so delicious and worth every penny. The ajumma who took care of me was worried I wouldn't be able to finish it but I assured her it would not be a problem :) the employees here are so attentive and caring it's as if you're eating at a family member's house haha. The interior was very clean, organized and very nice! The noise level was not loud at all even with almost a full house. This restaurant is known for Korean soups so if you're ever craving any this is the place to go! They also have other dishes too that are very delicious so definitely come here and check it out. I highly recommend Moobongri!
Was in town for business and wanted something comforting in the cold. Decided to try Moobongri Soondae. Ordered Sullungtang and it did not disappoint like many stated. creamy and satisfying. Large slices of Brisket. Would recommend. Service was attentive and perfect. FYI Chopsticks and Soups are in a side drawer on the table.
This place is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Came for dinner and got seated right away. We ordered the ox bone broth soup and the beef tendon. The ox bone was very good. Kimchi was also very good and tasted fresh and crunchy. Our server was very attentive and very nice. This is a definite go to for Korean Soup. It's a casual place. You know the place is good korean soup place because other than us, the rest of the customers were Korean. read more
I had the spicy pork belly soup and tteobokki. Kimchee and daikon were very good, like the soup. Friendly and fast service. Clean and tidy dining area. Good portions. I always have leftovers. I've also had the pork neck bone and a beef soup on previous visits. I'll look forward to trying the whole menu. read more

A home-feel restaurant with delicious 5/5 soondae indeed. The service was efficient, observant and kind. Everything is clean and accommodating. They give you complimentary tea which was warming and delicious. The ox bone broth was savory but the spicy beef brisket soup was a bit more lacking in taste. All-in-all it complimented well to eat with the Soondae and rice. When we asked to take some to-go, the man at the front was so kind and they have fancy plastic seals to make sure your take-out doesn't leak! It was so neat. They thought of everything. read more
The restaurant is small but has ample seating. It was clean and simple decor. We were able to get seats right away on a Thursday night. The lady waitress was super friendly and gave us good advice since this was our first time. We ordered the oxtail broth soup and the spicy beef soup to share. Both soups were really bland. They gave us some sauces and other spices to add more flavor but no matter what I added, my oxtail soup just didn't have much flavor. It was good meat and noodles but very bland. We were able to get the spicy beef to have decent flavor but it was kind hard to get all the meat off the bones. We saw all the good reviews and maybe it was just our selection but the taste was just ok. read more

I wanted some soup and found this restaurant. Apparently, they have multiple locations (mainly in CA). We were given kimchi and radish as sides. I asked for utensils and were shown they are located in a drawer on the side of the table. Even though they specialize in soondae soups, I went with the beef tendon soup. It had plenty of tendon and also contained noodles. The soup itself is light in flavor. My bf had the spicy pork neck bone soup, and there was a lot of neck. The soups were quite filling and warmed my soul. read more

Went for the second time for my sister's birthday, I'm not a big fan of eating soups in restaurants so we tried the bulgogi and it was delicious. The workers are very friendly and accommodating. read more

The food was delicious! I love the kimchi here. It's different than other Korean restaurants. I really enjoyed the Yuk Gae Jang. The spice was just right, allowing me to savor all the flavors without it being too hot. The Galbi Jjim was a flavorful and satisfying dish. The short ribs were tender and succulent, complemented by the chewy rice cakes and slightly sweet bell peppers. Service was excellent! read more

Went for early dinner and the soups were delicious. Mom and I like that it was not salty as many other restaurants. Let the customer add the saltiness ourselves. It was not sweet either which made the soups so delicious. The service is very welcoming and attentive. Very clean. Made the whole experience to make me go back. Thanks! read more
Was very impressed with this place the first time I went and still was the second time. First off, the kimchi is so good! Definitely a highlight. I tried the beef rib soup the first time after the worker said they just made some so it was fresh. The right choice was made because it was very delicious and comforting. Second time I got the spicy pork belly soup which was also just as good. The workers here are super sweet. And how they package the leftovers/to-go orders is so nice. They put a plastic film on a bowl, kind of like a boba cup, so it doesn't leak. I've been recommending this place to some friends and they've all come back to say they enjoyed it as well. read more

This was one of the best meals I had when I was in Denver! I got the sullungtang and my boyfriend got the galbitang. They were both freaking delicious. The sullungtang was so milky and smooth, perfectly salted. It was like a warm hug from your meal. The portion was perfect, it had green onions, glass noodles, and yummy beef brisket. I added my rice to it and finished the whole thing. The galbitang was also amazing. It had four big pieces of galbi that was perfectly tender and delicious, the broth was so clean yet so flavorful! We also got served this sweet cinnamon drink after our meal. read more

This place is fire! And provides the perfect meal for cold winter weather. What could be better than a warm flavorful bowl of Korean soup?? This restaurant is around the corner from H-mart. It's super clean and new inside, including cute drawers at each table that hold the utensils. The man who greeted us at the door greeted most customers in Korean, and the shop was pretty busy for mid-week lunch, which we took to be a good sign. The menus on the table are in Korean, but he brought over the menus that included English and provided a super-welcoming introduction to all of the delicious options on the menu. The menu could have been a little confusing otherwise, though I don't think you can go wrong here. The banchan (kimchee radish and kimchee) were refreshing and delicious--the kimchee was so good we considered buying extra to take home (but right now I have too much kimchee at home...soon!). The soup was the perfect comfort food for a cold day--and it comes with rice so you can soak up all of the flavors! I loved the spicy pork belly broth. The beef rib soup was simple but stellar, though be forewarned that it took a bit more work (the ribs are big enough that you get tongs and scissors to deconstruct them, and they also come with a dipping sauce). Both bowls were really filling and had enough for leftovers. It was a little unclear at the end of the meal if we should wait for service or go up to the register to pay, but I honestly couldn't care less at that point because I was happily sated with soup. I can't wait to come back soon(dae...haha couldn't resist) and try the soondae! The big hot pot options also look fun for a larger group! read more
Authentic Korean food cannot get any better than this!! I live in Arvada so it's quite a trek to get here but it's 10000% worth it. The restaurant itself takes you to Korea, with the utensils and napkins all available in a sliding cabinet right under the table, the imos are greeting you in Korean and being playful and generous to your kiddos, and the soups are so rich, deep, and flavorful, like they should be. The kimchi is PHENOMENAL. They sell it by the bag (both kkakdugi and geotjeori) for $8.99 per bag. GET IT! We got the haejangguk and galbitang. They were both amazingly flavorful, although it isn't anywhere near the quality you get in Korea, it is definitely close enough for me. read more

I always love when a new Korean restaurant opens up. This is a chain soondae restaurant and I am so happy that they opened one in CO. This is the first soondae restaurant of its kind here. I love soondae, so super excited to try them. They are most well known for the soondae soup. I ordered the soondae stir fry. It was delicious I wish that there was more noodles, very little noodles. Very flavorful and filling. The staff here is super friendly and very helpful and informative. I will definitely come again read more

I really love their sullungtang - bone broth soup and their side dishes including fresh kimchi (gutjulli), kkakdoogi, and onion and pepper pickle in soysauce. Their kalbi soup is very great also and I love how they have 들깨 out for self service to add on as much as you want as well as 다데기, and salt. The utensils and napkin is Korean restaurant style and is under side of your table to pull out for self-service. read more

Tastes very good and the owners were super nice and friendly. This is a soondae restaurant based in LA, and it tasted very good. Overall, the non-spicy was not very spicy, so had to add some spicy sauce. The spicy was a little salty. However, overall it tasted very good and is the best jjigae/sundae place in Colorado!! read more
