No, this was a full-blown culinary Six Flags experience that left me both speechless and deeply emotional. First Stop: Southwest Egg Rolls These bad boys arrived at my table looking like they just got back from a food modeling gig--crispy, golden, and filled with a spicy, cheesy, Tex-Mex magic that made my taste buds sing mariachi music. One bite in, and I could practically hear the tortilla whisper, "Welcome to Flavor Town, amigo." The creamy dipping sauce? Absolute sorcery. If I could legally marry a condiment, this one would be a strong contender. The Main Event: Manny's Meatloaf Manny--whoever you are--I just want to say thank you. Thank you for crafting a meatloaf that has single-handedly redefined my understanding of comfort food. This wasn't your grandma's meatloaf, folks. This was a rich, juicy, perfectly seasoned masterpiece, glazed in what I can only assume is liquid happiness. Each forkful melted in my mouth like butter in the sun, making me question every other meatloaf I've encountered in my life. Do I now have beef with every other meatloaf? Yes. Yes, I do. The Beverage That Tied It All Together: The Freshest Beer Ever Now, I don't know if they have a magical beer wizard in the back, but this was the freshest, crispest, most life-affirming beer I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. Each sip was like being softly kissed by an angel who also happens to be a craft brewer. Ice-cold, smooth, and so refreshing I briefly considered writing a love letter to the brewery. Final Verdict If you are hungry, thirsty, or just looking for an existentially transformative dining experience, get yourself to this restaurant immediately. The food is sensational, the drinks are divine, and I am now a better person for having eaten here. 10/10, would trade my left shoe for another bite of that meatloaf.

That's not an exaggeration. It factors into where I stay. My order basically never changes. Cheesesteak, fries, a beer, and a bourbon or an Irish whiskey depending on the mood. I've had it enough times now that I'd notice if anything slipped, and it hasn't. The vibe is a big part of why I keep coming back. It's never so packed that you can't hear yourself, and there's a clear crew of regulars who are obviously here all the time. That's usually a good sign about a place, and it is here. But the food is the reason. It's to die for. I'll keep coming back as many times as humanly possible whenever work puts me in the area.

I had the hand grenade and it tasted like New Orleans. Could've been a little stronger. The ambiance of the restaurant is small but comfortable. The bar was inviting. Each dish was full of flavor. My Dad demolished the potatoes and greens. The crawfish was tender and my brother thought the grits were thick enough to be perfect. I would recommend this to anyone in the area! Wasn't cafe du monde beignets, more like donuts. Same with the frosted banana bread pudding dessert- not authentic but good and sweet. Very limited parking; however there is a parking lot two blocks away. Also, steer clear of first Fridays (per the waitress) it gets really crowded and they shut down the street.

Omg ok let me organize my thoughts because this brunch experience blew my mind!!!…read more I live fairly close to two silos, and I always really enjoy my time there. I have been there several times before they started expanding and I remember seeing the signs go up and the excitement of what would come next. Fast forward several months maybe even a year and my friend suggested we go to brunch at this new spot called proof kitchen. It didn't occur to me until yelping that this was one of the new additions to the two silos (villagio group) kingdom! The second I found out that I would get the chance to finally try out this spot. Any other options that were on the table were immediately thrown out and we decided to go here. The menu looked really impressive and let me tell you the menu itself was not nearly as impressive as what was presented to us when we ordered, and our food arrived. It was really hard to pick an option... I was really impressed because quite a few of the options I've never even heard of before or thought of. For example, the crab Rangoon dip was so great. Just the right amount of sweetness and a bunch of lump crab meat. I love how they want above and beyond, even just with the wonton chips. The server was incredible and he brought over more chips for us without us even asking, and I don't recall any additional surcharge. We were here to celebrate my girlfriend's upcoming wedding and got to open her save the dates! The brunch was perfect. The grill time was lovely and the food was spectacular. The beverages were really delicious too! My friend ordered a flatbread that came with eggs. My other friend ordered the pancake with the berries that I almost ordered. When her pancake came out, we were all absolutely floored at the presentation! Firstly, the pancake was extremely thin, full of flavor and covered in delicious fresh berries. It took up the whole plate!! fortunately, I didn't also order that because I ended up being able to eat several bites of it to help my friend finish her meal. Portion sizes are very generous!! which we love in this economy... we also ordered the fry trio, which was so elevated in the most simple and flavorful way you absolutely must order this. I ended up just ordering the side of mac & cheese that was really gooey and flavorful which to me are the two main components of a good mac & cheese. Overall, we all agreed that we must come back. The food was lovely service was truly top-notch and the restaurant itself was beautiful New and modern. It was cool to be able to walk through and then also check out the distillery next-door and the merch!

I had the Cedar Plank Salmon, which was moist and well complimented by the red pepper coulis. My wife ordered the Cilantro Lime Roasted Grouper. The lime from the compound butter was fantastic, though if I were to criticize there was too much jasmine rice. The carrots were also amazing. We started with the excellent clam chowder. It's a little thinner than a traditional New England chowder, but much more flavorful. We saved room for dessert and loved the key lime pie. We had our eyes on the pumpkin bread pudding, but they had unfortunately run out (maybe next time!). A huge shoutout to our bartender, Jesica. She whipped up an Old Fashioned based specifically on my flavor profile requests, and it was spot on. She made excellent recommendations throughout our meal, as well. Service at the bar was really fantastic. The only downside to the evening was our seating; we were at the bar right by the door. It got a little drafty and we caught some cigarette smoke whenever the door opened. Not a dealbreaker, but we'll definitely look to sit further inside next time. We will be back!"

The dining room felt clean and modern, with a nice table setup, a bar, soft lighting, and low music that made the evening enjoyable. My wife ordered the bulgogi ramen, and I had the salmon poke bowl. Both tasted good, but the portions were much smaller than expected for the $17 to $18 price range. I did notice afterward that these items are listed as "light fare," so smaller portions may be intentional. Still, for dinner, they felt closer to side-dish portions than a satisfying meal. The ramen noodles also had more of an instant-style texture, which did not match the fresh-made impression. Overall, great service and decent food, but I would order more carefully next time and not expect the light fare items to be full dinner portions.
