Dog friendly with delicious brews!! I got the Simply AJ, a ballpark IPA, which was super good!! I really liked how smooth and the fruity notes to it. Service was really friendly and they were really knowledgeable. I liked how there was a lot of seating inside and a few tables outside. One thing that really stood out to me was how dog friendly it was and there's also dog treats for them!!

Taproom fronts the brewery with tables at the rear of the brewery and the bar by the door and standing bars throughout. Employees working the taps were helpful and friendly. I had a flight of three and then settled on one for the road. I went with the ghostcamp, draft lab #3 and the 51rye IPA. All were good. I settled for the ghostcamp as my parting draft. Huge building with lots of parking spaces...even a few marked HC.

This is a lovely place to get together with friends and catch up after a long weekend. The brewing company does not provide food in house, but they do have pop up food events as well as companies in the area that cater to the brewing company. I'm so proud of the fact that they make a Orioles-themed beer when partnering with Adam Jones!! The staff are so kind and helpful to answer any questions you would have over beer tastings, overall the service is phenomenal. And let's talk about the convenience of a nice parking lot right in the back!

I stopped by Monument City Brewing recently with my husband and a few friends. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my beer (I can't remember if I got a Pilsner or a Kolsch but it tasted off to me), but the space itself was great - large, open, with a stage for live music and TVs for watching sports, and open to the brewing area. They have a lot of parking, which is also a major plus. The service at the bar was good, too. I'd definitely give it a second shot because everything else about my experience was very good, but the one beer I tried wasn't one I enjoyed.

I have a lot of tickets. Woohoo!! 04/23/22

I came upon this event on a humble and so glad that I did. They were celebrating their anniversary with an outdoor event that included bands, music and several food trucks and a lot of outdoor seating. They had different tickets you could pre purchase online. The event was held from 2pm till 10pm They offered different admission prices. First was regular admission. Which you would have to purchase your drink tickets separately. They offered an admission ticket with 5 drink tickets included and the last was the VIP. They also offered everyone first drink on them which was a can beer of your choice. You received a bracelet. The event was good. I haven't drank like that in quite sometime I told my husband. Glad events are finally opening back up after Covid. They had two indoor unisex restrooms. With plenty of Johnny on the spot available. All the employees were super nice and I just think everyone was so happy to be back out socializing again. We had a great time and they also had plenty of free parking available. Which is always a plus while visiting Baltimore.

Nice selection of beers. The prices were good. Small inside space with a stage for small bands. Some outside seating but wasn't available the day we went. It was for a private party. They need more stacks or food. They only have a meat and cheese plate. Dog friendly.

Yelp Fam Let me tell you about one of my favorite spots to grab a beer! Monument City is a great spot for a chat and a brew! This dope brewery is located about a mile from Patterson Park. 12 taps of amazing Brew to choose from, they offer indoor & outdoor seating. Dog friendly as well for you pet lovers. They even have water on tap in case you try to taste all 12, Drink responsibly! The staff is always nice & helpful when I ask 20 questions about the new beers. They also have a impressive merch collection of hats, Tshirts & more. Overall this Brewery is a must stop by this summer. If you need to get out and grab a beer check out MCB!

Nice place to watch the second half of the Eagles final leg to the Super Bowl. Beers were spot-on. Cherry Pie Sour was perfect, slightly sweet and not overly sour. So "pro-dog" I felt bad that I didn't have one. Bullhead Pit Beef food truck was amazing.

Another excellent brewery in Baltimore! If you follow my reviews you know I LOVE breweries! And Maryland has some awesome ones. Monument is one of those at the top. I stopped in for a few brews while in the area and the variety was impressive. Several different styles of their regulars and a few 'special' brews. My favs were definitely the Southbound and the Woodstove. Two completely different styles but excellent flavor. The Southbound was a hazy double IPA. Very hazy and strong. The Woodstove was an imperial stout that was very strong with a sweet toasty, coffee flavor with hints of bourbon. I then tried the Rox and Friends, a style I had not had before called raichbier, which is a smokey, dry stout. Really interesting. Definitely worth a visit. I should add that they now have a restaurant next door that looked good. I'll give that a look on my next visit.

NOBO and SOBO are my absolute favorites! I was happy to see they had SOBO on the menu when we stopped in on Sunday for a quick beer. We were trying to visit new breweries that we never had before but when we realized we were driving by Monument, we had to stop! The bartenders were super friendly and welcoming. They are dog friendly although Reaper was not with us this time!

This brewery has it all - a great selection of beers, snacks, food truck, live music, parking, and even axe throwing next door if you're in the mood. We went on a Sunday afternoon when there was a reserved event happening to the side, but there was still plenty of seating available for other people and groups of various sizes. The ambiance is relaxed, and there were even people camped out with laptops doing work to the side. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The place is dog friendly and even have t-r-e-a-t-s for their furry guests. I highly recommend this place as a casual hangout or even work spot for individuals and groups alike.

Monument City Brewing is a great weekend hang out spot in Baltimore. It's in a complex with an axe throwing place. The brewery itself is huge! Tours are offered and there's a beer where you can fill your growler or order a pint for there. You can do smaller pours for a tasting or try a regular serving of their beer. If you like sour ales, order the very sour lime beer. There's a large indoor space with tons of tables, two bathrooms and a few games like ping pong and Connect 4. There are tables outside with cornhole. This brewery makes for a great weekend!

Driving up, we felt like we were in some strange area of Baltimore we didn't know about. When we pulled in-there was a massive parking lot, nice little outdoor seating area, and a food truck-I was surprised with such a large spread, how did I miss coming to Monument all this time (we drink them at home a lot-woo local brew beer store sections). The outside was so well set up, I wish it were warmer to hang out there. Inside was super cozy. With lots of seating options the space was well utilized. They had a few large parties, but with so many options on where to hang out-high tops, bar seats, picnic tables, ping pong tables, Connect 4 games-we didn't feel squished. The bartenders were delightfully pleasant, kept things moving, and were still taking time to talk to guests. My only issue-drinking them at home a lot-I hoped at the brewery there would be more options-special brews, new beers, unique flavors. They really only offered what we already knew, with one or two specials just being tweaked versions. There was also a friendly cat walking around-which was cute-not that we minded the cat, but it was entertaining to watch non-cat people freak out when they saw it.

And I love that they give back to the community in areas such as education, community and philanthropy. Stopped in this past Saturday with a bunch of my gym friends. I love that their tap list offers a little bit of everything for everyone, from classic lagers and IPA to house ciders. I am a Pilsner girl, so their Pilsner was my fave. I love that they do weekly events such as Trivia and open mic nights to name a few as well as host a few several food trucks out back. Oh and this is the spot where they have that really nice flea market as well. You have to check their Instagram page to see which food trucks will be serving food. Saturday they had empanadas from Aru Aru, which were very yummy and made fresh to order. Best spot if you are a beer connoisseur, great place for happy hours and is accommodating for large parties. Plus you bring your own cards and board games to play as well. I will so definitely return.

The old church and architecture is so warm and inviting-- it was still decorated and lit for Christmas so it felt extra festive. It WAS weird to see the brew tanks at the front of the old church, where the altar would have been. But it also places the beer on the altar of our Friday night so I was OK with that. I had an American Pale Ale, the husband had a Kolsch. My beer was exceptional and delicious. My husband said the kolsch was OK. They also have a cute space with books and board games! As well as a cool merchandise wall with excellent cool t-shirts. I had to restrain myself. There is no kitchen or food served here. Order at the bar and sit where you want, there are plenty of tables and a lot of elbow space. The folks at the bar are Super Nice and you should tip them well. They told me there is usually a food truck that shows up at an undisclosed time in the evening. We did order some fantastic pretzels (w/ smoked gouda) and waited some more but ultimately had to go find a meal elsewhere. We will be back, perhaps in warmer weather to wait out the food truck and have more beer. Also, we were there for happy hour so our beers were $5! Thank you to all of the kind people at The Ministry of Brewing! We will be back.

What a fun brewery!…read more My brother had a birthday gathering here this year - we were able to comfortably seat a group of 15-20 people in the outdoor picnic section area. Highly recommend this spot for groups looking for a place to gather and socialize. The space is deceivingly large; there are multiple indoor spaces all within a quick stride from a long bar with dozens of beer taps. The outdoor space is even larger than what's available indoors; their vast street level patio/deck space is full of picnic tables and benches that are perfect for larger groups when the weather is nice. And yes, their outdoor patio is pet friendly. While the brewery itself doesn't serve food, there was a food truck (that looked to be there quite often) set up in the outdoor area that had several good options. I had their burger and fries which was exactly what I needed after an afternoon of brews. The beer itself was tasty; I had several of their hazy IPA's which I've grown to enjoy. They also offer a very solid selection of N/A beer options; some of the folks in our group enjoyed them and gave them great reviews. I didn't get a chance to check out the arcade portion of the brewery, but yes, this is a barcade as well. If you're looking for an inclusive, energetic brewery to check out, definitely keep Peabody on your list.

It's a great venue with a wide open area, and when they're hosting special events, I definitely recommend going. Overall, it's a great spot. Guilford Hall: Profs & Pints…read more I went to the Profs & Pints event that's hosted at Guilford Hall. So this is a 2 in 1 review. Food: Black Garlic Truffle fries: really great balanced flavors. My only complaint is the fries could've been a little crispier but that could be due to the long line of orders, it may have been waiting under the lamps because the kitchen is filling orders for both upstairs and downstairs. The truffle sauce was like an earthy, Smokey bbq sauce. I really enjoyed the flavor. Reuben Eggrolls - BOMB! So juicy, perfectly fried. I tried it with and without the house mustard sauce. It's good on its own but the mustard sauce kicks it up a notch. I've seen so many versions of cheesesteak Eggrolls, crab egg rolls, etc it's done to death in my opinion. But a REUBEN EGGROLL ?? amazing, that's the innovative thinking I like to see. And if you don't like grilled Reuben's .... Grow up House salad: I added grilled shrimp and the house creamy ceaser dressing. The shrimp was grilled perfectly, great flavors, not too salty or over seasoned. Just right. The dressing was a solid Caesar dressing and same for the salad itself. A solid house salad. I love the new menu design, so much more elevated and well thought out. If you're not a beer drinker or don't know a lot about beers, the menu provides you with recommended beer pairings for each item. They also have a new chef. I loved the old chef, I had so many personal faves on the menu so I was a little bit hesitant. But I'm intrigued about some of the new items they've added to the menu. And although I've only tried a few things tonight, I'd say so far so good. I'll be back. Ambiance: Guilford Hall is honestly a hidden gem. The venue and architecture is gorgeous. You have the main restaurant downstairs and the event space upstairs. They host so many different events as well so I would recommend checking out their events page. Service: I'd they the service was the only gripe I had. And I don't mean the servers themselves, They're great and work very hard. My gripe is with the lack of adequate staffing for the event. They only had two servers taking orders for a very full event. So unfortunately it took a long time to get your order taken. You can order at the bar but the bartenders always insist that you order at the table, which again can take forever, so people go to the bar ...... lol it's a losing game. So I'd say get there at the very beginning before the venue fills up and get your food order in or don't go on an empty stomach like I did Now for the event itself. If you've never been to profs & pints I highly recommend. There's so many interesting topics to choose from. Speaker: Dr. Todd B. Kashdan Topic: The Science of Curiosity He was a very personable and engaging, and had great delivery with the perfect balance of insight and humor. He incorporated break out sessions to encourage the audience to interact with the people at their tables. It's open seating so great for connecting with strangers. I loved his perspective. He had great presence and took a relaxed/humble yet confident approach to public speaking. A key take away for me is to remember to turn your curiosity inward without judgement. Like what would you if no one was watching and you weren't thinking about what other people think. Your initial impressions of people are often wrong and you close the door too quickly. Assuming perspective instead of getting someone's perspective because you're seeing this as a representation of one monolithic idea as opposed to understanding who they actually are. This was in relation to a question someone asked about Race and who defines what is vs what things could actually be. And how when we have more of these conversations instead of avoiding them that leads to a more open world with less isms, bullying, prejudice, etc. All in all a great night. I highly recommend.

We were far from the only folks with kiddos (a lot of babies and toddlers around), which is why I was surprised I didn't see any high chairs or booster seats. Just be aware if you bring littles. I imagine the patio is probably a lot better in the warmer months, but be aware that there's not much indoor space in colder weather. The pizza was probably the best part of the visit. Their "plain" cheese, the "Formaggio" is a 5-cheese blend that we enjoyed, especially Child #1 and Child #3. We also enjoyed our pepperoni pizza (sorry, Child #2, no olives as a topping). My wife got the chicken tenders for Child #3 and they both shared it - said it was solid. My friends got the pretzels with their Jersey Pizza and the one piece I had was good - sweet and salty glaze; I just wish there were more to eat. The beers were okay. My wife and I are fond of sours, so we got the Peach Cobbler Sour and the Black Shadows wild ale. My wife commented how the peach cobbler sour was surprisingly bitter. The Black Shadows was quite funky. It's not for everyone but if you like wild/sour/funky beers, it's worth a try. Overall not bad.

It took about 10 minutes before we finally had to flag him down just to place our order. The food then took around 25-30 minutes to come out, which felt very long since we were on a tight schedule for our flight. When the food finally arrived, I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and unfortunately it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I don't want to be mean, but it was very bland and really needed salt. My sister surprisingly liked it, but it just wasn't for me at all. The rest of my family did enjoy their meals, and I thought the fries were decent, just lightly seasoned. My mom especially liked the grilled cheese. The waiter himself was nice and kept our drinks refilled, so I don't think the long wait was entirely his fault. The restaurant is very cute inside with cozy, old-style vibes and festive Christmas decorations, which I really liked. However, between the long wait times, the limited menu, and my disappointing mac and cheese, I wouldn't recommend that dish. Overall, it's a charming place, but the service was too slow for us--especially when trying to catch a flight.
