Big open space that used to be an ice warehouse with awesome beers to taste. They give a great tour and explanation about their beer making process and tell you about what makes them unique which may or may not involve fish bladder. At the end of the tour, you can hit up the bar for some tasty flights. Some of my favorite brews are bishop's breakfast & cherry blossom beer. A little out of the way but the journey is well worth it!

Maybe it's because it's a brewery but everyone seemed very happy. It's a little out of the way in the middle of nowhere but it's a fun brewery tour with a bar with lots of beers on tap. The beer flights are only $5 for four types of beer. Definitely a gem if you're into beer. They make a lot of IPAs (they make ales, no lagers). I can't wait until they have their cherry blossom beer available.

What a cool find! As the other reviews have mentioned, this is located in a warehouse setting. In short, the bartenders were really friendly and the beer was good. They were hosting an event with dogs which made the experience even better! I ordered a flight and had to go back and sample some more tasters to satisfy my curiosity. My favorite was the 206 and 206 Nitro. Coventry cream was solid as well. They have jenga, kanjam and a few other things to do while you enjoy the beer. Overall, really happy that this was the first brewery I visited in Maryland!

And I love that they give back to the community in areas such as education, community and philanthropy. Stopped in this past Saturday with a bunch of my gym friends. I love that their tap list offers a little bit of everything for everyone, from classic lagers and IPA to house ciders. I am a Pilsner girl, so their Pilsner was my fave. I love that they do weekly events such as Trivia and open mic nights to name a few as well as host a few several food trucks out back. Oh and this is the spot where they have that really nice flea market as well. You have to check their Instagram page to see which food trucks will be serving food. Saturday they had empanadas from Aru Aru, which were very yummy and made fresh to order. Best spot if you are a beer connoisseur, great place for happy hours and is accommodating for large parties. Plus you bring your own cards and board games to play as well. I will so definitely return.

The old church and architecture is so warm and inviting-- it was still decorated and lit for Christmas so it felt extra festive. It WAS weird to see the brew tanks at the front of the old church, where the altar would have been. But it also places the beer on the altar of our Friday night so I was OK with that. I had an American Pale Ale, the husband had a Kolsch. My beer was exceptional and delicious. My husband said the kolsch was OK. They also have a cute space with books and board games! As well as a cool merchandise wall with excellent cool t-shirts. I had to restrain myself. There is no kitchen or food served here. Order at the bar and sit where you want, there are plenty of tables and a lot of elbow space. The folks at the bar are Super Nice and you should tip them well. They told me there is usually a food truck that shows up at an undisclosed time in the evening. We did order some fantastic pretzels (w/ smoked gouda) and waited some more but ultimately had to go find a meal elsewhere. We will be back, perhaps in warmer weather to wait out the food truck and have more beer. Also, we were there for happy hour so our beers were $5! Thank you to all of the kind people at The Ministry of Brewing! We will be back.

It's a Barcade, and again, if you're a Baltimore Orioles fan, this is definitely a destination to check out. It's a great venue with a wide open area, and when they're hosting special events, I definitely recommend going. Overall, it's a great spot. They also have a resident cat who roams around and lots of artwork of him. They have 2 huge rooms with pinball and arcade games which you can pay to play. Outside, there is the Peabody Concession Stand, which is a food truck offering Korean-Fusion eats. Chef Anthony is great and the food is always delish! Peabody always has house-brewed beers on tap, my favorite is the Astrodon, which is a nice hazy IPA. BEWARE if you park in their lot though, there are no signs, but they close the gate after the brewery closes! I carpooled with my friend to another bar close by after Peabody Heights closed, and when I came back to get my car, the barbed-wire gate was closing it in. I had to come all the way back the next day to pick it up. Besides this one-off incident, I've always had great experiences here. Between good service, cheap beers, fresh food, constant events, and two whole arcade rooms, you never get bored at this brewery!

The music was a mix of hip hop and more recent r&b, but I would imagine that changes depending on the crowd. Parking was a little difficult because there is street parking but I managed to find a spot. Before venturing to the tables of the popup vendors, I decided to check out the inside of the brewery. There was a pretty good amount of seating and space inside. It seemed very welcoming to families and pets as I saw quite of few of them with small children and their dogs. I didn't plan on purchasing a beverage because I'm not a big beer drinker and if I do partake, it's usually sours. They did have one sour on tap but it was only 3.8% abv and the description didn't really sound like anything that I would enjoy. I saw that they had 2 types of frozen drinks with house made spirits. I opted for the orange crush slushy. It was not only delicious but I felt a nice buzz (I believe they said it was 6% abv). It's a cool place that I would definitely recommend to my friends that enjoy beer.

Our party grabbed a high top table, but that was tricky with our littlest, so we went outside to the patio. While in the winter they have some space heaters to make it more pleasant, they only cover a small amount of the patio. We were far from the only folks with kiddos (a lot of babies and toddlers around), which is why I was surprised I didn't see any high chairs or booster seats. Just be aware if you bring littles. I imagine the patio is probably a lot better in the warmer months, but be aware that there's not much indoor space in colder weather. The pizza was probably the best part of the visit. Their "plain" cheese, the "Formaggio" is a 5-cheese blend that we enjoyed, especially Child #1 and Child #3. We also enjoyed our pepperoni pizza (sorry, Child #2, no olives as a topping). My wife got the chicken tenders for Child #3 and they both shared it - said it was solid. My friends got the pretzels with their Jersey Pizza and the one piece I had was good - sweet and salty glaze; I just wish there were more to eat. The beers were okay. My wife and I are fond of sours, so we got the Peach Cobbler Sour and the Black Shadows wild ale. My wife commented how the peach cobbler sour was surprisingly bitter. The Black Shadows was quite funky. It's not for everyone but if you like wild/sour/funky beers, it's worth a try. Overall not bad.

It took about 10 minutes before we finally had to flag him down just to place our order. The food then took around 25-30 minutes to come out, which felt very long since we were on a tight schedule for our flight. When the food finally arrived, I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and unfortunately it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I don't want to be mean, but it was very bland and really needed salt. My sister surprisingly liked it, but it just wasn't for me at all. The rest of my family did enjoy their meals, and I thought the fries were decent, just lightly seasoned. My mom especially liked the grilled cheese. The waiter himself was nice and kept our drinks refilled, so I don't think the long wait was entirely his fault. The restaurant is very cute inside with cozy, old-style vibes and festive Christmas decorations, which I really liked. However, between the long wait times, the limited menu, and my disappointing mac and cheese, I wouldn't recommend that dish.
