We agreed on a day, and later he texted and offered to do the job a few days earlier, but we kept the original day. He and crew showed up on time, went to work, and did an excellent job. Shrubs gone, boulders gone, and debris cleaned up. How they managed to remove the plants without damaging the drip irrigation lines is worth noting. Gabriel offered suggestions for weed control and what to expect in terms of seasonal changes for the lawn and citrus trees. Bottom line: I highly recommend for excellent price, communication, service, and advice.

The team did a great job de-thatching and seeding our yard for the winter. The price was fair and…read morethe job was done very quickly. Appreciated the initial communication from Gabriel, but as time has gone we have had a hard time getting a hold of him for the second part of our project. Unfortunately, the yard has been incredibly patchy growing in, and we were trying to solve that initially. We hoped for soil to cover the seed but he just said "no, too many weeds". No additional solutions were offered to help keep birds away from eating the open seed. We'd rather have some weeds than a patchy yard. Initially, we were pleased but we are growing a bit disappointed.

I've worked with quite a few landscaping companies in the valley, and I usually end up thinking, "I…read moreshould have done this myself." I recently had a job that I'd done many times before, but it was backbreaking work, and I just didn't have the energy to tackle it. It involved an overgrown border of Bermuda grass, weeds, and palm trees that love to sprout every year. Even when the palms are small, they're incredibly difficult to pull, and I won't even get into the hassle of removing the grass. Knowing I'd probably be disappointed in the results, I decided to give another company a try and hired Phillip. Though his services weren't cheap, he was a clear communicator and took the time to carefully walk through the job with me. I decided to move forward with the bid, and his team did an excellent job. Everything was neat, clean, and performed with high care and quality. This was far from your typical hack-and-slash operation. In Arizona, it's hard to ask for more, and Phillip has certainly earned my future business. If you've been let down by other companies, give them a try--you won't be disappointed.

It was 8:30 am and even though I sent a picture he said he would be over by 11 am to make sure it's priced correctly and he can determine much more accurately the number of guys to send. He got here at 10:45 and in 5 min gave me an excellent quote and said 2 guys would do the job in 2.5 hrs. We set a date 4 days later at 8 am. The two guys arrived at 7:50 am. We went to the tree and discussed what I wanted done. I offered to help but they said they had it handled and they would come get me when done. They came to my front door when done and took me around back to check it out and make sure I was pleased. They were polite and professional. They had all the proper tools needed to do the job. They hauled away all the trimmings. They not only raked the gravel but blew off that entire side of the yard. They also managed the entire job without damaging any of the 5 large prickly pear cactus, 2 birds of paradise, and 1 mini palm tree that are all within 1-5 feet from this tree. It's a family run business, his crews are covered by his insurance while on your property. One hour after they left, Billy V (owner) called to follow up to make sure I was satisfied and to answer any concerns I may have. He also thanked me for the business. STAY AWAY…read more Absolutely unacceptable work. What was supposed to be simple trimming turned into severe over-pruning that completely ruined my plants. Multiple mature, full, flowering shrubs were cut down into stiff, unnatural box-like shapes with most of the blooms removed. The entire look of my yard was drastically changed in a single visit. This is not professional landscaping - it's careless and shows a lack of basic pruning knowledge. When I contacted the owner about it, my concerns were dismissed and he hung up on me. Save yourself the frustration and go with a more competent company. Photos speak for themselves. ***Update***: The owner's response speaks for itself. Rather than addressing the legitimate concerns about the quality of work, he chose to attack me personally and publicly, calling me disgustingly rude and telling other businesses never to work with me. This condescending and unprofessional response only confirms why we will never use this company again.

July AZ got back to me quickly with an actual quote (a fair price, based on the photo I sent) - plus they were available the next day. From the time I sent the message to the time he was in my backyard giving me an estimate was less than 15 minutes. That level of promptness is rare and set the tone right away. The price quoted was fair and reasonable, with no pressure or upselling. He mentioned the work could be done after his crew took a lunch break, and sure enough, about an hour later his team showed up exactly as promised. The crew was professional, courteous, and clearly knew what they were doing. They worked efficiently, took care of the tree, and had everything cleaned up in about 15 minutes. The end result looked great--exactly what I was hoping for. Overall, this was one of the smoothest and most straightforward service experiences I've had. Fast response, fair pricing, and quality work. I would absolutely use July AZ Landscaping again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We discussed a turf area for our dog, boulders, brick patio, and xeriscaping. A week later I realized I didn't want pokey, spikey, pain-inducing plants in the yard my dog and grandchildren would be playing in. Pat graciously updated our design to include a second sitting area for a fire table and replaced the xeriscaping with a raised area that includes a desert willow, rosemary, sage, and lavender. The day before the project the materials were delivered, the day of the project a team of apparent experts showed up and finished everything except the pergola before the end of the day. It was amazing. They were fast, friendly, and left everything better than they found it, including the side and front yard! Yes, they used the extra materials to cover the shallow graveled areas of my front and side yard, and leveled them out. They swept the dust from the road and driveway, watered everything and left. The next day the pergola was built with the same customer service and attention to detail. We're are beyond happy with our new yard! I can't wait until the plants are grown to see the real outcome!
