Raul and his crew recently helped transform my front yard into the talk of the neighborhood. They ripped out two overgrown trees and a walkway that was falling apart and were able to not only plant new trees and plants, but also install an amazing new paver walkway with custom lighting. Raul was extremely patient as I was awaiting all the HOA approvals and once we got the green light, he and his team were able to get us scheduled and completed in under 2 weeks. My wife and I could not be happier with the job these guys have done and are looking forward to having them back out to do the sides and backyard in the near future. We have had a dozen neighbors stop by and compliment their work and even a couple of neighbors that have already hired them to work on a project or two on their houses. Thank you again Raul. read more

Contacted Raul Montoya to get a bid for work to be done in my front yard and a complete backyard design and install at my new build home. I had an appointment for this afternoon to walk through the project and he didn't bother showing up or calling to cancel or reschedule. I know landscapers are busy right now but leaving people waiting on you and not having the courtesy to communicate with them is unacceptable. read more

We had our very neglected front yard cleaned up yesterday, weeds and tree debris removed, and are more than pleased with the work done by Raul and his team. They arrived when they said they would and did an amazing job. Our yard looks better than it ever has and they left everything, including our driveway and front entrance area, cleaner than it was when they arrived. Would highly recommend this company and will be using them for any future landscaping needs. read more

I've called Raul 2 or 3 times. He's very responsive, shows up when he schedules, and they do a really good job. The prices are reasonable as well. We'll call him. Update- 4/24/20. We know we can depend on him to show up, on time as promised, pricing is consistent and reasonable, the work is perfect, and they clean up before they leave! I was referred to Montoya's landscaping by a current client of theirs. I requested a quote for a lawn cleanup of leaves. I recently moved into a new house and did not have the time to remove leaves with all the unpacking. I specifically said if it was under $100 to go ahead and anything more to just leave a quote. I come home to a yard half cleaned. The flower beds and ground cover were never touched. I expected a bill of $100 or less and was disappointed with the half-assed job done. To my surprise a couple days later, I received a bill on my door for nearly 4 times the amount I was expecting it to be. -I was shocked and in disbelief. I explained the situation to their owner and he insisted I pay him more than the $100 I said was my max and this is on top of the fact he only did half of my yard. I compromised and agreed to double what I wanted to pay since he did do some of the work. I would warn all homeowners to never use them and if you make the mistake, to make sure you have everything in writing. That still may not be enough as he will just show up and do a subpar job and charge you way more than you were told and then hound you for payment. Unprofessional and unacceptable. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. read more

He did great work and at a reasonable price. I would recommend him to friends who need landscaping work.

We contacted Raul because of the high ratings on Yelp. We are so happy that we did. We wanted to add a row to our block wall. Raul and his crew worked fast and efficiently. They did a professional job, matched the existing paint, so the new blocks blend with the old ones perfectly. The took care in all aspects of the job and cleaned up everything. The yard looks like they were never here and the block wall looks like it has always been here. read more

We contacted this company because we had heard really good things about them. They responded timely and showed up when they said they would.....even early. They were very friendly. We went over with them everything we wanted. When they were leaving, they said they would get back to us with a quote within The next two days. It has been over a week and we have heard nothing from them. Crickets. We sent them a text message because that's how we had been communicating, and still absolutely nothing. Totally went dark. read more

Raul picked up my call on a Sunday and scheduled a bid for the next day. He was willing to go to both of my properties and gave me a specific time when he would be there. He was right in time and gave me a fair bid for both properties. Today he came for my first device. Again, he was there when he said he would be and he did a great job with mowing, trimming, blowing and rock clean up. I have been very pleased with my experience thus far. It is rare to find someone so PROMPT and RELIABLE. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Montoya's Landscaping. read more

Impeccable work! Not only did he show up the same day I called to give me a reasonable quote, but the work was completed the next day, and done very well. Raul was awesome!!! He was able to accommodate my schedule immediately. I tried to get a few other estimates and this was no easy task. Raul showed up on time and did an awesome job at trimming back trees, removal of unwanted plants/bushes, transplanted plants. He went above and beyond by doing things I didn't even ask him to do like mowed and edge my yard and filled holes that my dog made. I only wish I took before and after photos.... oh yea and very decently priced for the quality of work. read more

I could be considered picky. Very picky. But you're probably just like me: You want the job done right, for a fair price, and completed on time. Not only did Raoul and his team do all that--in an emergency flood situation!--they also each had really pleasant attitudes, too. Would recommend him without hesitation. read more

When Raul showed up early for the free estimate on the landscaping I needed around my house, I had a feeling that dealing with him would be a good experience. He walked my property with me, and he made sure he understood exactly what I wanted done. He quoted me a very reasonable price for the work, and I was able to schedule the job for the next day. Raul and his co-worker showed up right on time and did an amazing job. Everything is exactly as I wanted it, and they even did a little extra - as others have posted in their reviews. I would not hesitate to call him in the future, and I most likely will, for any additional landscaping or irrigation work that I need done. In fact, I wouldn't even think of calling anyone else. read more

Raul came by in less than 12 hrs to give me a quote. 8 trees to trim, weed yard (1.25 acres) remove numerous century plants, and spray a weed control. Was given a day and time. Raul and his helper showed up on the day agreed upon and was 1/2 hr early. We spoke again about what needed to be done. They went right to work, worked all day trimming all my trees and removing the century plants. Came back the next day, again 1/2 hr early. Took care of the weeds, brush piles, raked, got out their blowers, blew the entire acre and1/4, along with the front and back patios, put down weed control. Yard looks amazing!!!! These guys are the BEST! Will definitely use these guys again. Fair price, very good work ethic. read more
