We've always enjoyed our food and drinks here.plenty of parking and inside it's quite large. I like their steak dishes which aren't that expensive. The wait staff are friendly and helpful too.

Food was amazing!! This is our new go to spot. The staff were incredibly nice and service was really fast. Would definitely recommend friends and family to come to this place. One of the best Mexican restaurants nearby. 100% coming back!!

Stopped in for dinner after a long drive from a business and met my wife here. Haven't been here in a long time and wanted to try it again. We were very surprised how high the prices have gone. We decided to order anyway and I got the Fajita Quesadilla for $15. When it was delivered to the table, it was soooo small and barely any fajita meat on it. I asked the waiter if this was all the meat I get for $15 and he said yes and laughed. It was literally on a soft taco shell. Better prices and food at other Mexican restaurants in the area. One taco for $15 basically.

Our family usually stops by Monterrey to grab a bite with friends on Friday evenings. We have found it to be a great way to cap off a long week and ease into the weekend. The spot is easy to get to with ample parking in a large strip mall parking lot. We usually arrive around 6:30, and we have not had to wait for a table (although the restaurant fills considerably while we are there). We typically have 7 in our party, and the restaurant is large enough to accommodate several larger parties of that size. Chips, salsa, and queso are all great starters with the warning that it is easy to fill up on them. Proceed with caution. My husband and I are fans of the fajitas. We recently ordered the chicken fajitas for two and were overwhelmed with the portion size. That being said - we Put. It. Down. We cleared the plate! The fajitas were a great option. They also have a kid's menu with several options for kids. In our experience, service has always been quick and friendly. I am sure we will be back when we are in the area.

I was on hold and they never got me to their manager

laced in order over the phone for steak burritos. They said 10-15 mins wait but waited 25 mins. I get home and got a beefs wrapped in a tortilla I ASKED FOR STEAK BURRITO everything in it with salsa on the side. I called and I am currently still on the hold for 12 mins and the girls said "oh, you asked for steak burrito and salsa on the side" And I said YES! Burrito with rice lettuce and everything in it. Also said I am asking for a refund and she said she'll need to get me to a manager. As I am writing this I am still on hold. I paid $8.17 for beef in a tortilla wrap when I asked for steak burrito. This is ridiculous. They didn't even apologize or anything. I keep calling with another phone but line is busy so I hung up on my side and tried calling again. It's still busy.

I came here last weekend and I had an awful experience. My sisters and I asked to sit outside due to the somewhat crowded restaurant. When we were seated the tables did not look clean and the server took a while to come to our table. We decided to order our drinks, tacos, & queso. Literally the simplest order and it still took a while. The queso was extremely runny and the tacos were literally just thrown thrown together. This is NOT quality Mexican food AT ALL! By this time we were just over it & wanted to ask for the check. But of course, it took so long!! We finally walked up to the front to pay. Very upsetting.

This was the WORST Mexican experience that I've ever had. Ordered chicken nachos, beef nachos and carne asada tacos. What I received was chips, large chucks of boiled , flavorless chicken and ground meat and cheese. No lettuce, tomato, cilantro, pico de Gallo. Also the tacos were literally just meat and a tortilla. No cheese or lettuce! When I called, I was told that you have to ask for special nachos. That's crazy!!!!! What in the world? The bill was 31+ dollars and the manager offered me a 15.00 credit. I will never do this again. Do yourself a favor and keep driving! I threw away all of the food because it was inedible.

The husband and wife team from Mexico City and Ecuador run the show here. The thing I live the most is they have a spicy light green cream salsa that I usually only have found in Lima and in Peruvian Restaurants in South America or Florida. It is soooo good. Worth a trip to the bar for drinks and chips with it. That said I've had the Fajitas twice now and they have been large in scale and very much sizzling. Sizzling has surprisingly become a lost "art" at some places. Don puts it on the plate though. I also love that they use Lodge American made cast iron for the service. It beats Chinese made products where you don't know what chemicals may have been used. They have a lot of TVs they apparently pay for. That's no small expense for this size of a place. Interestingly they have Keno here. This is a staple of the restaurant/bar industry on the West Coast. It's practically the only way to make the numbers work. I rarely see this in Atlanta and I give the owners credit for providing this game and apparently some other lottery products. I'll be back more often. You have to respect an individual place where the owners are making the effort and working hard. I think they have live music on the weekend. Maybe I'll come then!

I ordered the lunch special with two tacos (pastor & chicken) and swapped the beans for rice. It was my first time trying pastor, and wow--I was genuinely impressed. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with a smoky, slightly sweet, and savory flavor that really stood out. Definitely a 5/5 for the pastor taco. The chicken taco was decent--well-seasoned, mildly juicy, and satisfying, but not quite as bold or memorable. I'd give that one a 4/5. One thing I really appreciated: the meat didn't have that dry, overcooked texture you sometimes get at other taco spots. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. My partner ordered the carne asada plate (charbroiled fajita steak with pico de gallo, avocado, rice, and tortillas, with beans swapped for extra rice) $15.99. He said the steak was nicely charred, tender, and full of rich, savory flavor with just the right amount of seasoning. The plate was filling and well-balanced, and he gave it a solid 4/5. Overall, a great lunch spot with fresh ingredients, quick seating, and flavorful food. We'll definitely be back!

The facilities were modern, very clean and the staff, very kind and helpful. The food was delicious with the majority of the patrons being from Latino descent. We ordered chips with queso, 2 tamale and taco meals and a Carne Asada. Tasty, moist and flavorful tamales (one chicken and one pork with mild red sauce) as well as delicious tacos (Al pastor and birria). I've heard good things about the mole sauce but they were sold out of it. The steak was a little tough but the flavor was delicious. Honorable mention to the rice and beans and guacamole! Wow wow wow. The portions were really great also. So much so I needed a box for my taco. Overall great value with a lunch meal for 3 with an appetizer for about $50 bucks. Great experience!

Fries were perfectly cooked and had a tasty seasoning on them. $13-14 breakfast plate: This was ok. It's billed as a scramble but is griddle scrambled and the eggs were very very hard cooked. I would prefer an overdone egg than a soft egg, so that was ok, but I would order them differently if I returned. There were lots of tomatoes, peppers and onions which was nice for flavor, but there were so many that there weren't many "curds" of scrambled eggs if that makes sense. The refried beans might be the tastiest I've ever had. The rice was "ok". The soft corn tortillas were very fresh. If not housemade, these are coming in every day for sure. $13-14 Rajas and cheese tamales: Didn't try these because of the cheese, but they were medium sized and smelled good $4 each Vegan black bean tamales: These come in banana leaves, which I've not had before. I could do without the flavor of the leaf, which is actually pronounced (this surprised me). The masa was lovely and the black bean filling was delicious and well seasoned. I like to pan fry my tamales to reheat and they were stellar the next day. $4 each The staff was friendly and handled accommodations (no dairy, corn tortillas instead of flour) smoothly. I would go again if I was in the area.
