I received the eye dryness treatment here by Dr. Zamora. The treatment was 4 sessions. I had a severe dry eye symptom where I had to put on lubricating eye drops every hour or 2 through out the day. After my treatment I can tolerate the symptoms for 4-5hrs before I need another drop. The test results shows great improvement of my glands as well. Dr. Zamora takes her time to answer all of my questions and concerns. Dr.Zamora and her staff are amazing. I would recommend this place for all your eye care. read more

I write this review with much respect and kindness: Dr. Zamora is a professional and good-natured doctor. She was able to inform me about the health and treatment of meibomian glands which no other doctor has ever done before. However, my eye health rapidly became terrible since I came to this office, leaving me in pain and bed-ridden for 2 whole months now. I was given hybrid lenses to help me see better; initially, I was very excited to try them and be able to see the world clearer than.before. But these contacts ended up causing me a lot of pain by the 6th day I wore them as trials, and since then, this pain has not gone away. I ended up having to go to the emergency room and, subsequently, with desperation, to other doctors who had all diagnosed me with corneal erosions and giant papillary conjunctivitis (Dr. Zamora never informed me of these issues when I went back to her). As of now, I'm still in a lot of excruciating pain and it's been suggested that I see a neuro-ophthalmologist for potential corneal nerve damage in my eyes. All of these problems began when I started going to Montebello Optometry. I sincerely feel traumatized by the whole experience and this is simply MY STORY to share. My only wish is to be healthy like I felt before coming here and to be able to live my life comfortably and pain-free again. I also hope to have the chance to pursue the dreams I had once worked so hard for before I became incredibly ill coming here (have a career, travel, plan adventures with loved ones, be free and independent, etc.) You've been warned :(( read more

I saved the appointment time on my iPhone calendar of course. Everyday I've been getting a text message from this place with different appointment times??? What the? Different telephone numbers and different appointment times. I can not believe I'm in grade school again folks? I need my mother to remind me everyday that the book report is due this Friday in my History Class. I sat back and figured it out, they want your $ 40.00 dollars for a no show, or a cancellation. Doc, news channels aren't paying enough for you to show up on the tv broadcast? They want you to drop everything to confirm, they want you on text message agreeing to there thievery. Like that you can't deny the no show, $ 40.00 dollars for masks and face shields you just paid for. If you want to get harassed everyday by different scam numbers, different appointment times, employees texting you from there private. phones? Go right ahead! A lot of pros and no cons, the doctor went above and beyond as in even if it wasn't something i didn't seem to be concerned about she still wanted to check so it doesn't get worse in the near future. She took the time to check my eyes, ask me questions, answer my questions and provide me with the information of all of the options available to help my vision.
