My son absolutely LOVES Monster Donuts! It is the cutest, local kolache/donut shop close to us with a family friendly staff always ready help when you walk in the door! My son always gets the same kolaches (sausage with cheese, lol) but they do have a variety of flavors and sizes, plus croissant sandwiches and sometimes tacos. But then there's the donuts! And that's where we have problems because of the choices...They always have the "classics" but they make cute decorative ones daily for the kids with things like candy dinosaurs, M&M's, Oreo's, puppies, sour worms, and tons of sprinkles of course. I'm sure there are girl themed ones but being a mom of a young boy, I can't remember what currently, lol! There's also donut holes, fritters, filled donuts and twists! Cinnamon buns! This store just opened, and it's a great location. I love donuts and i have been to several donut shops that are pretty close to me. I really this shop. It's smaller then the others and the donut selection is not overwhelming. They are however very good. The monster donuts are really just decorated glazed donuts, but they are cute. A little to much sugar for me. The apple fritter is really good. The cinnamon donut holes? I am going to tell you they are gross and that you should never buy them. Why would i say this? Because I have gone in there a couple times and they have been out. So if you don't buy them, there will be some for me. The cake donuts are great too, and I love that you can get them with the glaze or without. My wife prefers them without glaze. They are tasty either way. So go buy some monster donuts, but remember! Don't buy the cinnamon donut holes! ;-) read more

The donuts here a delicious and decorative. However the customer service is a bit lacking. Not very welcoming and lacking in explanation of prices and how the boxes are arranged. Not many mix and match options. I had Hoped for a raspberry filled donut and they only had strawberry and Bavarian. Would be nice if they had a little more variety as well. Best donuts I've had in a long long while. I am not a donut person...but I am a Monster Donuts person. I've had donuts from Austin, Denver, New Orleans, Seattle, and these are good, y'all. Why do I like them? Light and fluffy, perfectly glazed and extremely fresh. Seriously....they wait to fill the eclair with the cream until you order it. So many donuts are dry and caked with sugar (in my experience), but Monster Donuts are sweetened and artfully glazed, while also soft and slightly moist. The glaze and fillings compliment the dough without overpowering its flavor. How's the shop and it's service? The shop has a nice ambiance and a quality drink selection (including organic coffee). Staff are quick, patient, very polite, and kind. The shop is clean and efficient. This is our go-to donut shop. Are there donuts I like better? Only one. They are 417 miles away and are the donuts of my childhood that I'd get with my grandparents. I'm talking about the donut holes that flavored the early light of the Saturday dawns I spent with my grandpa, or the eclairs that punctuated the Sunday mornings my grandma went to church. That's a lot of psychological bias to beat...but Monster Donuts rise to that level of deliciosity. I sound like Anton Ego of Ratatouille and I'm not even ashamed. Go get you some. read more

Holy moly. This place is flat amazing! I've never had better glazed donuts in my life. The other donuts we tried were also great. Especially the cinnamon rolls! The only one we felt was subpar was the maple. It lacked any real maple flavor and definitely didn't have enough frosting. This place replaced my go-to in Round Rock. read more

We visited Monster Donuts on a few occasions. It's a fun and cute environment with staff who are always smiling and engaging. The donuts and kolaches taste great. My son looks forward to seeing the new variety with each visit. He was super excited to find a Pikachu ring topped donut at our recent stop. I'm not sure if he loves checking out the Godzilla collection, listening to the music, or scarfing down the donuts more. We love the inviting decor and welcoming faces. The location is easy to get in and out of considering it's at a busy intersection. Monster Donuts has yet to disappoint. We look forward to the next visit. My only complaint is they're so popular it can be tough to find a spot to sit in their small corner shop. That's a great problem to have. The folks here are beyond nice. Today was our first time going here. We are super impressed but the sausage and jalapeño kolache were soooo tasty! It wasn't just essence of cheese like some other places. There was a great amount of cheese without being greasy and nice big chunks of jalapeño!
