I'm delighted. At 3:45 AM, I discovered that our air conditioning unit had quit cooling. I called Monster before 4:30 because the manufacturer recommended them for warranty service. I received a call back from a wonderful dispatcher before 9 AM and, thanks to the friendly and knowledgeable technician (George), the unit was working by 12:45 PM. Anyone who has lived in this area understands that quick service on a day when the temps are above 110 degrees is not the norm. I appreciate them! read more

I'm a tenant with Denali Real Estate and I've been trying to get them to fix my ac for three months. They finally tell my wife after continual prodding that Monster was authorized to do an inspection. We scheduled an appointment on the phone with Brandy for a mechanic to come Sat 16 July between 10 and 2, but he never showed. I talked to Kaylee and we rescheduled for the next day, and the mechanic did show up at 1pm. Brandi and Kaylee were very friendly and helpful on the phone, and they both showed care for our discomfort. The mechanic on the other hand... He seemed very arrogant and brusque, then a bit rude as I started questioning him as he was rushing out. Total he was there seven minutes. I know he'd rather be home on Sunday with the family, but that's unprofessional. I have mobile HVAC certification so when I'm being lied to about refrigeration I know it. He told me it was normal for an AC unit to run for 9 hours straight when it's 113°, but it wasn't 113° back in April when i first complained. It was only 100° when he visited. He insisted the ac unit wasn't undersized, even though it can't keep up with the heat load. He also tried to blame the vents being undersized, the refrigerant, the age of the unit, any excuse he could make up, then he took a picture of the thermostat at 75°. The only reason it was that cool is because it was only 1pm and I had my 10k Btu ac unit in the bedroom running since 8 am at full blast. I don't know what kind of deal they have with Denali Real Estate, but I do not like being lied to, then brushed off like I don't matter. Thanks Monster for restoring my faith in humanity. read more

We just moved to Maricopa and while our home was inspected before we closed on it, I wanted to make sure another professional inspected our AC before the summer. I did some research and saw Monster Air received good reviews so I called them to schedule the "spring" service of the combination spring/fall service. My first contact was with Brandy and she was very pleasant and helpful to fit us in on a rather quick basis. Her follow-thru was excellent and I enjoyed speaking to her. Dwight was the Service Tech who came out and did the actual inspection. He was very pleasant as well and very professional. Based on our first experience with Monster Air, I wouldn't have an issue or problem making a recommendation to someone to have them provide service. See you in the FALL !!!!! Bob W. read more

We recently had the Monster Air team come out and replace two of our A/C units. The whole process was so smooth I would highly recommend using them for any A/C and Heating needs. Brandy was a great help and the installation team of Dwight and Ozzy were very professional during installation day. They were here all day but made sure both units were up and running before they left. It's been about a week since we've had them installed and the house is as cool as ever. Lastly, we ended up deciding to buy Smart Thermostats after we had the new units installed and they had a tech (Trish) come over and install them to make sure everything worked properly. We'll be using Monster for any further HVAC needs. read more

Lou from Monster Air came to our home yesterday for the scheduled maintenance appointment. He arrived on time, and I recognized him from last year's service. He practiced "safe distancing" and allowed me to watch as he worked. I did the register temperature measurements in the house as he instructed, keeping the safe distances goal in mind. Lou was courteous, pleasant, offered an honest opinion on the service needed. Luckily, I didn't need any R-22, and the units were holding. I asked for a bid on 2 new units for the future. I'm recommending Monster Air and Mechanical enthusiastically! read more

I was excited to use this company but after watching how they conducted business with a dear friend of mine, I'm concerned that they might be scamming their customers in order to exploit their own fee policies. It seems as though when they are presented with a problem for which they are clearly at fault, they decide to, for lack of a better term, ghost their clients. Very disappointing to hear, I will not be taking that risk. read more

I can't begin to tell you how appreciative I am of this company. I had three air-conditioning companies out to me home prior. All three of them told me misinformation. Brandy was the person I spoke to initially. She was super friendly and helpful. Dan was the technician who inspected my AC unit. He is a straight shooter and very direct. I love how honest Monster Air is. This is very rare. The next time I have an issue with my unit, I am definitely calling on Monster Air. read more

As a rebuttal to "Chris S's" owner comment below my review about how such a review is not warranted. Reply to your option 1: Did you read my review? You're tech came off more or less like "Systems get low, it happens" While these are not exact words as its been a long time, this was the impression I got. I was not offered a chance to look for the leak, as it seemed like from the professional I was talking to wasn't too worried about it. I'm sure it was really hot that day, heck I wouldn't want to get in an attic either. Reply to your option 2: You mentioned this alright, over the phone in fact in between the first and second visit. You warned me about the potential cost of such an operation and carefully guided me away from it as now that you have a leak history, the rate at which it leaks could potentially be stopped by a stop leak treatment. You DID mention that such a treatment isn't guaranteed to work. To sum it up, yeah you did offer this to me before the 2nd visit. Reply to your option 3: Offering to look for the leak was not offered immediately after the addition of the stop leak treatment. It was insinuated that this would be done at a later date if the system still leaked. How about option 3.5: Offer to look for the leak the 1st time you stop out like you claim should have been done, inform your customer that systems shouldn't get low over time. Use your electronic Freon sniffer to find the relative location of the leak instead of charging the customer 800 dollars for Freon and a stop leak treatment. Reply to your option 4: What you said. Reply to your ending statement: Luck had nothing to do with it, as I've stated above. As a consumer I have the right to form an opinion about a company as I see fit. You personally were never out on the service calls, so you calling my review inaccurate means you're calling me a liar, even though I'm the only one with the first hand experience here. I stated the events as they happened as I remember them. I don't appreciate you trying to call my Integrity into check when in reality, it's yours. Thank you. read more

First off, let me state that i do NOT easily do Reviews... I'm the type of person that has to be really impressed to write a review. That out the way, I just had to do a review for Monster Air, LLC. These folks are awesome! My AC had failed... I did a ton of research for replacement units, to installation/AC Companies... etc Long story short, I ended up using Monster Air, and am glad I did. The entire experience was a pleasure and went very smoothly. Special thanks to Brandi, Chris, Dwight and Austin!! All these folks played a role in my obtaining a nice AC/Gas Heat Package, and having it up and running in no time! This thing is quiet and has my home nice and cool again! I had many questions etc, and they never made me feel foolish asking same. All very professional and personable, what a great team!!! Friendly folks who really seem to know their business. I feel the price was excellent and the service has been awesome! Thank you all for a job well done! I can highly recommend these folks, for me, they did an awesome job!!! read more

Monster came out to fix a leak on my AC upstairs airhandler. Rather than fix the leak they caused new (electrical) problems with the unit. Despite having been out to my house 3 times (!) the unit is still leaking and now also has additional issues. It's not working at all. Rather than come and fix the leak and the issues they caused they called me Friday afternoon and told me they are walking away from this project citing "difficult work environment". I now will need to call another company that needs to come out and fix the leak and the issues Monster caused. Unbelievable. Monster is clearly a company that does not stand behind its work. read more

Quite a few of our clients have used Chris to service their HVAC system, has always showed up on time and was able to fix the issue if any, at a reasonable price. Donna keeps the business scheduled and she is always awesome to speak with! Keep up the great job! read more

I was referred to Chris and Monster Air from a friend when I was looking to replace my 14 yr old a/c unit. I had already gotten 3 bids from a variety of big and small local companies. Monster Air not only helped me pick the best unit for my house and sq. footage, but saved me a bunch from what the other companies were going to charge. (His price was even better than a neighbor who was doing it as a side job!) I scheduled the install a couple of days later and I couldn't be more pleased. The installers (Yazzie, Dwight, Jay) were so professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They worked to make sure everything was PERFECT before they left and took their time to do it right the first time. They went out of their way to fix the old duct work that was incorrectly installed by the builder and now ALL of my ducts are blowing ice cold air like I have never felt before! The unit is so quiet and much more efficient. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Monster Air. Honest, professional and top notch service and installation!! I'm not one to write reviews, but I had to do something extra to thank Monster Air for a job more than well done. In Phoenix, a good a/c guy is worth their weight in gold. I didn't just find a good one, I found the best I have seen in 15 years of living in Phoenix and I have worked with many and I am not easy to please. Now, I can't wait until July and August to see how much lower by electric bills are while I am nice and cool!! Call them! You will be glad you did and you can thank me later. haha. read more

Monster air saved the day for me. It was HOT in our house and the wife was not happy, and we all know... I called and scheduled the appointment. Shortly after, their tech Jacyn called ahead to give us a firm time and actually arrived on time (pretty rare these days). They had us up and cooling in a very short amount of time. Thank you Jacyn, I'll tell everyone I know to ask for you personally. read more

Outstanding customer service! Our air conditioning was fixed quickly and both Chris and our technician were very friendly and professional.

We called this company to get a second opinion on part that needed to be replaced and give us an overall on our Air Conditioner unit. A tech came out to our home and agreed with the other company that a capacitor needed to be replaced. We were given a quote and we going to decide which company to go with on the repair. On Saturday May 6, 2017 the AC quit blowing cool so we call Monster Air to see if they could come out to do the repair. We were thankful they were going to not charge us a trip fee since they were just at our home on May 4, 2017. The technician arrived and told us it wouldn't take to long to change the capacitor. Seriously the technician was on the roof for 5 minutes. The tech came into our house and we told him he wasn't going to leave until we new the unit was once again cooling and running correctly. The tech used one of those tools that tells you the air temperature coming out of the house vent. It did not cool at all. The tech went back up on the roof, came back down in a matter of moments telling us we had a bigger problem as the refrigerant was spraying out all over the place and that a coil needed to be replaced. We inquired how could something like that just happen and the tech couldn't explain except that we needed to shut down the system. He told us to contact the gal in the office for a quote on the repair on Monday. We were give a quote of $895 for labor and $45 a pound for the refrigerant for a total of over $1200. While we were discussing this with the office gal we came to the conclusion that we should call the original company who installed our unit to see what they would charge. The other company told us they would come out Tuesday May 9 to look over what Monster Air told us what was wrong with our unit. Monster Air lied to us. There was nothing wrong with condensing coil. When Monster Air replaced the capacitor the tech forced the wrong screws back into the unit and even put 2 screws in 1 hole. Thus putting a hole in a cooper tube and this is what caused the all the refrigerant to escape. We called Monster Air back and told them that they need to make the necessary repairs to our unit and replace all the refrigerant. We had a conference call with one of the owners in which he told us that the problem was because we have a contract with the company that install our unit to come out every 6 months to do a maintenance check up. That the repeated times cause the damage. But Monster Air agree to come out the next day and fix the cooper tube, replace the refrigerant and clean up the mess they made. But they continue to say the damage was done Coil leak found on 5/6/17 due to previous HVAC company's repeated inspections. This is from there service order. They gave us a 90 day warranty. But no apology for their mistake. The AC unit is running fine thankfully. We would like Monster Air to admit to their error and apologize to us for lying to us and even to the point of charging us over $1200 for a repair that wasn't needed at all. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, this is why we went to them in the first place was to get a second opinion but thankfully we didn't agree with their diagnosis of the problem. And then to make matters worse the owner called my wife at her place of employment on her cell phone and proceeded to yell at her. Very unprofessional company. read more
