Terrible experience with the recall service -- and advisor Stephanie made it even worse. I was told the recall part was in stock and to come in for service. After rearranging my whole day and driving there, suddenly they "don't have the part." No real explanation, no accountability -- just wasted my time. On top of that, advisor Stephanie provided some of the worst service I've ever experienced. She was dismissive, unhelpful, and acted like she couldn't care less about my situation. Zero communication, zero professionalism. This dealership clearly doesn't respect customers' time, and Stephanie's service made the entire experience even more frustrating. Despite having issues with my parts warranty, Matthew was extremely helpful and communicated the entire time. He was transparent, which is for me top notch! An absolute fast and seamless transaction. After inquiring on a 3500 Limited truck on the phone, we pulled in and the truck was already out and ready for a test drive. Guillermo, our sales rep was super nice, fantastic at explaining the car and features which are very sophisticated on a 3500 no sales push ever. I brought my Charger Hellcat in for a routine service appointment, and immediately after picking it up, the car developed a noticeable ticking/knocking noise that was not present before the visit. The car only has around 10,900 miles and has been well maintained. The noise increases with RPM and is clearly coming from the engine bay. This started right after the dealership serviced the vehicle, which makes the timing very concerning. When I raised the issue, I did not feel like it was taken seriously, with the service manager even laughing at me when I said they'd be responsible if caused by their work. There seemed to be hesitation to acknowledge that something may have happened during the service. As a customer, with a performance vehicle like this, I expect careful handling and accountability. ESPECIALLY because it was so difficult to choose a CDJR service department to begin with and the one I chose leaves my car like this. I want the issue properly diagnosed and resolved without being dismissed. A ticking noise on a Hellcat engine is not something that should be ignored. I hope the dealership steps up, investigates this thoroughly, and makes it right. read more

Service Department has really gone downhill. I have come to this dealership for years to have my Jeep serviced. I have always been a satisfied customer. Now it's Kinda weird. They have moved from their location on Mountain Street. What a confusing convoluted mess to even find the new Service Department. I had a check engine light for a couple days. They told me it was going to be 48 hours to perform a diagnostic test on my vehicle. I've had this same issue before and it never took 48 hours. It is the gas-air mixture which impacts vehicle mileage. I informed the service advisor that this problem had occurred before. She still said they couldn't even look at the vehicle for at least 48 hours. Meanwhile I am without a vehicle for at least 2 days. At the old location on Mountain Street, if I had an appointment, my vehicle was worked on the same day as my appointment. This time I was told that despite having an appointment, they wouldn't be able to even look at my vehicle for at least 48 hours. This is just wrong. They allow you to book appointment slots even though they know they can't service the vehicles in a timely fashion. This is despite moving to a supposedly larger facility with more service bays. They certainly have more than the 3 service advisors that were at the location on Mountain Street. One would expect that service might improve when in fact the opposite scenario seems to occurred. I wish they were still at the old location on Mountain Street. Service was better. If you had an appointment your vehicle was serviced on that same day. Not so now and we're supposed to consider this an improvement? I think not. read more

I received an offer on cars.com to buy my car. It was a pretty good offer so I considered selling it to them but I was wary of being lowballed so I was hesitant to go there. I got a text from Jessica reassuring me they would stand by the quotation so I took a chance and drove my car all the way there. When I got there the place was empty without any customers so I should have known what was coming. They made up lies about the tires and rotors being bad which was a lie because it just had a 20k service and everything was fine. If they weren't interested in buying the car they should have just told me before making that long trip for nothing. First I'll say I do not take one star reviews lightly as any business deserves a fair shake before being dragged online. That said, this dealership, specifically their service department, is dishonest and disingenuous while being absurdly priced. I brought my 2019 RAM 2500 Limited with the 6.7 Cummins in due to a check engine light. I have an OBD tester at home and went in with the specific error code and stated the particulate sensor needed to be replaced. I asked the technician what the cost would be to replace it and he said he did not know but wouldn't think it's very expensive. While I knew there was a fee for them to take a look at it, the service tech stated the fee would go towards the sensor replacement if I moved ahead with the repair. Well the following day, he texted me stating the particulate sensor needed to be replaced. No surprise there since that is what I told him when I dropped my truck off. He then quoted me a price of $714!! When I pressed him for why in the world was it that expensive the breakdown he gave me was $240 for the part (which is $120 online), $240 for diagnostic fee (which he told me would be waived if I did the repair), $240 for labor, and approx $25 for taxes. See text messages below. Not only did this guy lie about waiving the diagnostic fee, this dealership is completely and disgustingly, ripping people off on a repair that takes less than an hour. I picked up my truck, they had the audacity to charge me $240 despite me telling them what the issue was when I dropped it off AND showing the error code to them AND eluding to any replacement not being very expensive. There was no offer to waive the payment. And when I politely asked to talk to a technician about replacing the sensor myself, they just told me that wasn't possible. I've been taking my truck to this place for maintenance and repair work for years but will never return. I know that post covid service in general has seriously degraded but there's simply no excuse for ripping people off the way this dealership does. Honestly, stay away. Give your time and hard earned money to a business that appreciates repeat customers and doesn't exact pleasure from ripping them off. read more

Really disappointing experience at this dealership, which is frustrating because it's where I originally leased my vehicle and always brought it in for maintenance. Everything fell apart at the very end. We agreed on a price, shook hands, and were ready to start the paperwork. Where I'm from, a handshake means something. Then suddenly someone else steps in and says the deal isn't possible--right after we had just agreed. That completely ruined the experience for me. I won't be returning to this dealership, not even for maintenance, even though it's the closest one to me. This response is in reply to the comment. There's really nothing more to discuss. What I shared initially accurately reflects the events that took place that day. Since then, I've gone ahead and purchased a vehicle from a different dealership, and the experience was great. I suggest you pay closer attention to reviews like mine. It makes no sense to reach an agreement, only for someone else to step in and undo it--especially before any financing was even discussed. My credit is excellent and falls within the tier-one category, so credit wasn't a factor in the decision. It's concerning that a deal was made and then abruptly pulled without explanation. Yelp says this location is permanently closed but they actually moved down the street in the same car dealership complex! I leased my second Jeep Wrangler from Jeep Monrovia and they gave me a great deal. I loved the car it was a 2020 Jeep Wrangler and when the lease was up, I knew I wanted another Jeep...but the initial price deterred me. The original lease was a diesel Jeep and I was spending so much in gas each week that I was looking for an electric car or hybrid this time around. I absolutely love the Wrangler and was excited when Jeep rolled out the EV but the starting price was out of my budget. I actually ended up test driving a few different cars (and even went as far as reserving a Tesla!). But it doesn't end there! Before my lease was up, a sales associate from Jeep, Anthony (remember the name!), reached out over text to see if I was interested in another Jeep. We went back and forth and I expressed interest in the EV Wrangler and what my price range was. Anthony wasn't pushy or anything, he was super nice and accommodating, which was refreshing after being hounded by other dealerships. He was doing a ton of work on his end before I even stepped into the dealership. He presented a few different options and prices for the EV Wrangler but they were still not exactly what I was looking for. Eventually, Anthony secured me an AMAZING deal that was exactly what I was looking for and in my price range. No other dealership or salesman went above and beyond like Jeep Monrovia and Anthony! They made the car buying experience easy and accommodating for the buyer and I will 100% be returning to Jeep Monrovia when my new lease is up. Even after leaving the lot, Anthony made himself available for any questions or concerns. I actually reached out with a question about charging the vehicle and Anthony answered very quickly with instructions. They are like robots whose only response is "would you like to schedule a service." no matter what question is being asked. They don't listen & are not helpful. My Jeep was loosing coolant at no apparent location, so I needed service. The girl that answers the phone is one grouchy woman. Think her name is Hay Sue or something like that. Really in a bad mood and very sarcastic. I should have stopped right there. But no, I took my jeep in for service. They had it for 1 week and when I called, they had not even touched it. Wow, I been renting a car this whole time for nothing! While they were finally looking at my Jeep, they called me say they don't want to work on it as long as I have a dash camera on. LOL! I told them unplug it then! It like the workers have warrants or something! When I called the "service advisor", he did not respond to my calls or text messages. The next day, he said he had the day off. WTF! Like couldn't another person take over while he was off? Finally had to ask for management. Manager took over my service. After more days, he says they checked the engine with a scope and did block test and everything, and couldn't find anything wrong with my Jeep and sent me on my way. I went to my local mechanic, he squeezed one hose and said too much pressure, head casket needs replacement. He changed it, and changed anything else that he was disassembling along the way to avoid problems later. My Jeep was fixed by my local mechanic. I will NEVER go to a dealership for repairs that are out or pocket for the rest of my life, especially Monrovia Chrysler Dodge, Jeep dealership! They are rude, incompetent and over priced! Very unhappy. -I brought my camper van in for a repair. There are two sets of keys in the van for locked compartments inside the van. When I picked up the van, both sets of keys were obviously tampered with, as they were both not in their normal spot. These keys and compartments had absolutely nothing to do with the repair of an alternator. -There was at least one bolt that was broken off and not replaced, just left broken off. Now that component is not secured as it should be. -When I picked up the van it was taking quite a while for them to bring the van to the front. Finally they told me that they closed the hood and now they can't get it open. They took me back to the service area and there were 8 people working on trying to get the hood open. After a great deal of paint being chipped off of the lip of the hood, they were able to open it and correct the mistake. It was explained to me that they forgot to strap a cable and when they closed the hood it got stuck in the latch. This does NOT give me confidence that the other repairs that I can't see were done properly. -The final repair costs were almost twice what I had anticipated. (About $3600). Possibly my fault for not being more diligent with adding up the repairs, plus tax, etc.. To add insult to injury, they charged me an extra 3% of the total bill because I paid using a credit card. The service department representatives were friendly and helpful, but the technicians can not be trusted in my experience. I will not be returning to the dealer for future service/repairs. -On a positive note, the new alternator seems to be working fine. read more

Took my Dodge Charger for Service, appointment was easy to make online and the check in was very smooth and fast. My service advisor Wendell was very helpful and his service was very good . While I waited for my car to be ready Mr. Wendell also explained to me that my tires would need to be replaced soon and gave me a good quote and he also taught me about the type of tires my car has and the importance of changing them soon. He took his time and explained everything and that definitely made my experience better than other places I have been to. I clearly communicated this to the staff, yet they insisted on performing a "diagnosis" despite my own scanner--and their technician--confirming there were no codes. What did this unnecessary "diagnosis" cost me? $240, only for them to tell me exactly what I had already told them. To add insult to injury, I specifically came to the dealership for recall fixes, which I know are supposed to be free. Yet, somehow, I was charged $240 for what should have been covered. This feels like nothing short of a scam. If this is how they operate, I'll make sure others know about it--and I'm certain the Better Business Bureau will be interested in hearing the full story as well. My experience with Sierra Auto Group started off rocky when I ordered a duplicate key for my Jeep in September 2022. Initially, I lived only 5 minutes away from their location, which made it convenient. However, due to a scheduled move in December, I was hoping the key would be ready before I had to move an hour away (in traffic). Unfortunately, the key didn't arrive as promised, and I had to relocate without it. When I called in January 2023, it still wasn't ready, so the manager on duty offered me a refund or the option to wait it out. I chose to wait because I really needed that second key. Months went by without any progress. In March, the key still hadn't arrived. On May 1st, I decided to make a call to check the status, and they informed me that the key was finally there. I was upset that they hadn't called me to notify me, and I had to find out on my own. On May 5th, I drove 90 minutes through traffic to pick up the key. After collecting it from the parts department, I was directed to the service area to have it programmed for my vehicle. To my surprise, the charge for programming the key was higher than I expected. However, this is where my experience took a turn for the better. John V from the service department not only brightened my day but also tactfully and skillfully expedited the programming process to get my new key completed in time for me to return to work. Despite the initial delays, lack of communication, and frustration, John V's excellent customer service and consideration for my situation made this the best experience I could remember having at an auto service provider. I am grateful for his assistance and want to extend my thanks to John V and whoever he spoke to in the office for turning my experience around. Sierra Auto Group, take note of the fantastic job John V is doing!
