This shop is not for everyone. If you're looking for a cheap shop, this is not it. If you're looking for a quick job, this is not the shop for you. If you're looking for someone to do the job right, take extra time to help you figure out a strange issue to the best of their ability, and make sure your vehicle is safe before you drive off - this place could be your new favorite shop. I come to Monrovia for custom alignments on a frequent basis to experiment with different adjustments ahead of track days. They do custom alignments, corner balancing, suspension installs and more - just ask, they're a family business so patience is key. I appreciate that they mark all the nuts and bolts they've handled including adjustment arms so from a glance anyone can see if something has moved or has gotten loose. On occasion they have also spotted a loose bolt that was unrelated to the service I asked them to do - they let me know what they found and asked me if I wanted them to tighten up the bolt. They asked first. They are thorough and detailed. They take pride in the services they provide and they are worth every dollar spent and worth the wait when booking an appointment. Their prices are extremely competitive for the unique services they provide. If you find another shop that can do it for cheaper, you're better off going there instead - Monrovia doesn't price match. If you have a bad experience here, it's 100% because you're the asshole.

If you have a drift car you take to the track, this is the place you want to go for your alignments. I've been to multiple shops over the years, and none of them have come close to the service that David provides. He ensures that your car is setup correctly the way you want it, and will answer any questions you have earnestly. As a customer I felt that David wanted to ensure I was satisfied with the car, and made any adjustments, tweeks to get the car dialed in right, or to find the source of an issue. Will definitely be coming back for any of my drift alignment/suspension needs.

David and Fern are the best people to work on my cars. I have been coming to Monrovia Alignment since 2020 to work on my previous car (Subaru WRX STI). I've had multiple alignments, coilover dial-ins, and many sets of tires purchased and installed with them at the best rates. Even to this day, they're the only ones I'll trust with my FL5 Type R. The NSX with new shoes, sold on Bring a Trailer!

David and Fern have been taking care of all three of my cars since 2020 and they have not missed a single time. Fern is amazing. She picks up your phone call and after obtaining vehicle and suspension mod info, she gets you booked ASAP. David has always gotten my alignment adjusted to perfection. Cross camber was at most 0.01 degrees, every single time. He does a pre- and post- alignment test drive, but he also lets the customer do a drive loop to ensure that the alignment is satisfactory. The alignments are incredibly fair in pricing, especially when you realize David will reserve a 2-3 hour slot just to focus on your car and dial in the settings. Remember guys, do it once and do it right! It costs more to do a job twice. 1. 2008 Civic Si: Tein springs, Koni Yellow shocks, SPC rear camber arms and front camber bolts. David was able to align my car to my preferred "street aggressive" specs. Car was ridiculously quick and stable in the corners. 2. 2017 Toyota Camry: Stock suspension. I wanted -2.0 degrees camber all around. David had front camber bolts available in-house and was able to get them installed and adjust to my request at a super reasonable price! To this day, my Camry is the most stable example I've ever driven. 3. 1999 C5 Corvette: Stock suspension. Car pulled slight right. I wanted around -1.0 degrees negative camber because the car was used mainly for highway commutes. After doing a post-alignment test drive, the car pulled to either direction occasionally. I talked to David and we tracked the issue down to the Federal all season tires up front as the culprit. He taught me that even tires can cause side-to-side pulling! 4. 1996 Acura NSX: Needed new tires mounted and balanced. The wheels were chrome finish, so I was concerned about potential marring. David was able to get the balance PERFECT with zero damage to the wheel! I've since recommended at least half a dozen friends to David, and every single one has been satisfied with his work and customer service. Thank you, David and Fern! Keep doing amazing work, I'm rooting for you two!

Best alignment I've ever received! David was soooo professional, prompt, and a true expert. He communicated with me the entire process showing me what he had to fix from the other shop and asking if I was happy with the final settings. I can't speak highly enough about him saving my tires and dialing my car in! I set my appointment from 6 hours north and it was a highlight of my trip! Thanks soooo much!

If you accidentally rammed into a curb or sidewalk and your alignment is off. Then drive your vehicle over to Monrovia alignment where the man himself will get you all situated. Theirs a reason why this place has 5 stars and I see why. Quality is outstanding. Must I keep going?! Highly recommend letting this shop get your baby driving straight again and avoiding decreasing the life of your beloved tires that keep you on the road. Long story short, I got some front end damage on my car from a collision. Body repair was done, but my steering was off a bit, and as a result handling. Need an alignment! David took me in on a Friday afternoon, test drove it twice, and did the alignment. Now alignment is back to normal, and car drives exactly how it did before the collision. Brought my recently lowered gli and I'm glad I chose this spot. It's 5 minutes from my house and the guy went above and beyond my expectations. I knew my camber was off a bit and honestly I was able to live with it but he shifted the frame a bit to compensate for the negative camber that came from the lowering. Price is more than fair for the amount of knowledge he has and he does appointments which makes it easy to plan ahead. Also, the alignment rack he uses is below ground level which is a plus for any lowered car. My car isn't slammed but I'm sure if yours is you'll be fine. Will bring all my cars there from now on. Went in for a wheel alignment on my 08 CTS last month, after I had some repairs done where the suspension had to be removed. They took their time & did a great job. David then went over the "before & after" readings with me. Most importantly, the car drives straight as an arrow! Great little find in Monrovia. I was recommended by a few friends who had their cars worked on by him. I hit him up with a pretty big list of things that needed to be done and he was extremely patient with me and was able to accommodate literally everything. Kept in contact with me on how I wanted the car set up and even helped me source tires as the ones I brought weren't going to fit my widebody. Love the communication and his backing in every work he did. My car handles even better than before and I have no problem coming back again. read more

David did such a great job with tires and alignment on my beater Audi daily, that I just had to bring him my 15 GTR to tweak the alignment (that was never aligned spot on from the factory). I brought in the GTR and sure enough, it was out of spec and he dialed it in spot on! I would have paid double to have this fixed. He can work on beaters, he can work on 100k cars, he is my go to now. Call him now! Ask for David! read more

Called in for an appointment to have a tire replaced because my tire's side wall got eaten up by the suspension. We made an appointment early in the morning around 9. It's a good thing I ended up calling before heading out because it turns out my tire delivery was going to be delayed at 3pm instead. But inconvenience aside, my experience here was easy going. The guy David was really chill dude. Was able to accommodate my tire replacement needs especially since I was running a pretty good stretch on my tires. He got into detail to check and set all my tires to the correct air pressure. As well as fulfilled my request to torque down my wheels to the specs I were comfortable with. He runs on an appointment basis which I like so people don't get shuffled around. Especially when it comes down to alignment. read more

Referred to this shop by family and gave them a shot. Worst customer service ever. Their company name is Monrovia ALIGNMENT yet they were unable to align my Honda Accord after spending almost a rack on four brand new tires. They didn't have any clue on any other shops that would be able to align either. Their customer service was terrible. The boss is very rude with no customer service experience. He claims he's busy yet there were no cars other than mine. Definitely not coming back. Also spreading the word to others not to spend your hard earned money here. Would give negative stars if it was an option. read more

The positive reviews are spot on! David went the extra mile to take care of my new-to-me Z4. Before the visit, it was a scary ride: pulled to the right, steering wheel not straight and too much play before turning the car, and front and back of car seemed to move differently during high speed turns and slalom. He listened to my concerns (rare these days), test drove the car twice then once more with me driving at the end. The team even remounted a tire they discovered was improperly installed by another tire shop. Now the car finally drives the way I had expected it would and I can have some fun with it! Came here to get the alignment done on my '09 G37 sedan, as well as my parents '00 Accord. It was $70 per car, and well worth it. David is an awesome guy who let me watch him and ask questions as he worked. Also, the man works quick! A little over 60 min in/out for both cars.I would definitely come back again! What can I say about David, I have a 20" wheels needed my tires flip, I call a lot of places but won't work on my wheels they don't want to scratch it, I found this place on Yelp, thought I would give him a try, before he started with my wheels i told him I don't want him to scratch my wheels he he guaranteed that he won't, I was optimistic about it but heck I needed I tires flip so I went ahead and have him do it, by the time he was done to my surprised no scratches, thanks David, I will be back for more service. read more

I brought my car in to do an alignment and raise my back end. They told me I needed to do that and roll my fenders. I had an appointment early in the am to get it back same day and they took a WHOLE WEEK and it didn't even come out correctly. They spent the week to do a terrible job. My back end is lopsided. My car isnt aligned right my car still goes to the right. My fender isn't completely rolled. Now my tire is getting chunks taken out. Not only do I have to pay someone else to fix all this I also have to go buy new tires. HORRIBLE SERVICE read more

Went in for new tires and an alignment and found out that two of my wheel studs were damaged from the previous alignment shop that did my alignment. Within a few minutes, David was on the phone placing an order for replacement studs and lug nuts and before I knew it, they were being installed within a matter of 30 minutes. David came through to save the day as he didn't want me driving around dangerously (unlike the previous alignment shop I went to!). Great prices, great service, knowledgeable and friendly people. Needed a new tire for my lowered g35 and happened to stumble across David's shop since I just moved to Monrovia and it was like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but without the shady leprechaun. If you want an honest suspension/alignment/tire guy, David is the man. I noticed my front tires kept wearing out faster than normal and my old tire shop just kept charging me for new tires. When I went to David he told me right away I kept wearing out my tires fast because my control arms were shot. Funny how the other tire shop never wanted to tell me that. David actually told me which control arms to buy and he would just charge me for the labor to save some money! Sweet! David takes his time and his work shows in the Alignments he performs. He runs his shop himself along with the help of his cousins so don't rush the guy, it's a one man show. Your patience will be worth the wait for his work and reasonable prices. After this experience I'll come here for all my tire and alignment needs now even if it means paying a little more for his honest and detailed work. read more

Had my car hit on the curb on the first day when I got it and I found the steering had been acting abnormally after that. David was very helpful . He not only fixed it temporarily for me but also did a quick and good job when the part arrived. They did a test drive , tested the alignment and checked carefully under the car sand found the key part that create the problem. I ended with changing the tire rod and aligning the car. The price is reasonable to me as well. Highly recommended! read more

Came here to get my tires rotated & that guy Carlos noticed I needed some new tires, (good looking guy btw) Gave me a deal on some used ones & rotated my tires! Carlos was very quick with everything, I think he use to change tires for nascar because it was too fast. Great service & great vibes. The cashier Diego was very polite & handsome too. Found out we have the same birthday, great group of workers. Will definitely be back again for tire rotation or used tires. Might come get my car dropped one day too! read more

I was pleasantly surprised about this place. I saw the good reviews online but when I arrived I was skeptical based on outside appearances. when I called to see if they had an opening they were able to get me in right away and asked me a couple questions about my suspension to see if I had modified it or not. I dropped off my vehicle and later on picked it up me and the technician spoke and he noticed some things that I had done to explain some of the ride quality in alignment readings he saw but he did very good in doing my alignment which now the vehicle drives like a new car. Can't thank them enough and will be going back when I do some more work and screw up my alignment again. read more

Not a mainstream shop but provides high quality expert professional service. Alignment equipment is modern so that you get a very precise outcome. They really did an awesome job to make sure their costumers are happy. Definitely going back to have any future upgrades to my car.

To be honest, the place does not look the part, but don't be fooled, David is a excellent tech. Anybody with a modified car (or stock), rest assured, he will take great care of your car. Drop center on my wheels was made on the face side. The spokes on my wheels protrude out a little bit. He was able to remove and install my tires perfectly, no damage. Companies like Costco, American tires are inconsistent because they may not have a tech that understands variants in aftermarket wheels. With David, he has the know how for sure. Even for OEM wheels, you'll be assured he won't damage them. Tire installed with painted dot near valve stem. That is the heavy point and should be placed nearest to valve stem. Yup, he did it. They tightened up my lug nuts slowly and carefully and used a torque wrench. Alignment was done very well. One of those alignments where you drive out and the steering wheel is perfect and the car drives straight as an arrow. I remember years ago, I had one of my old cars done by Bear & Frame alignments. I drove out with my steering wheel slightly crooked, didn't feel tight at all and tires wore like sh*t. With David, this wasn't the case, the alignment was spot on! I'd give David 6 stars, but unfortunately Yelp only allows 5 stars. read more
