Strawberry Park has it all. Everything!…read more The track is well lit even at night; it's a complete mile all the way around. A gigantic Tennis area, I am always surprised how full that area is. Strawberry Park includes baseball fields that are also well lit in the evenings. They have a Basketball area, and pavilion for hosting private and public events. There is a workout station near the main entrance. They have a fairly new, small and fun waterpark that won't break the bank. Disappointed the volleyball area is gone to make way for the waterpark. They have plenty of room, I hope they find a new area for it, soon. They are plentiful in picnic areas with pits, playground areas for tots, and bigger kiddos. The bathroom area, is a no go zone.

There is even portions where it's kind of like a tunnel they can climb up. The big slide is their favorite because they always fly down it so fast! I guess when you're 3 and 6 years old, going down a slide fast is exhilarating? Lol. They also have this spear thing that they sit in that spins. This park also has a small "rock" climbing wall. It's not very tall but it's easy for them to scale up it and get down by themselves. They also have some rockers they can sit on. Their favorite is the motorcycle because it comes with a side car, so they can both ride together. The hills are fun to run around on, my kids burn so much energy off while we're there. I love how they have it decorated for Christmas too. They have lights and even a big Christmas tree! Another huge plus is that this park has restrooms. They are clean and always stocked with toilet paper and soap. It's pretty convenient because the three year old is Potty trained, so when she has to go, she has to go right then and there. We love this park! Highly recommend it.

They have four courts which exceeds anything I've seen in the city and greatly increases your chances of not having to wait. The courts are well maintained and each one is enclosed so you don't have to worry about going far to get your balls or disturbing other courts. There's plenty of parking right in front of the courts. And the park is open late. Really everything I'm looking for in a spot to play some tennis. If tennis isn't your thing, they also have a basketball court and walking trails. And there was even an ice cream truck making its way around the park the last time I was there.

This park is so calming, even when it's packed with people…read more Plenty of parking, good paved running trail, bike trail along the back, good scenery with the lake, playground for the kids, outdoor workout station and frisbee golf (if you're into that). The running trail seems to be about .8 miles a lap, with markers for 5 and 10k runs. You will see plenty of turtles and ducks, the fishing is decent, expect to catch catfish. This park doesn't have it all, but it's a good mid size park with friendly people. Dog owners can be annoying, especially those with pits bulls, and the ones that don't pick up after their dogs . Unfortunately not everyone disposes of their trash property and this results in little on the banks of the lake. At night don't be surprised if you see some rats (nature), and plenty of duck poop which can be surprisingly large . Bonus: there is a good size hill on the south side of the park, it is good for climbing, rolling, and uphill sprints. Have fun!

For a park that is meant for a subdivision, this is pretty nice! You have plenty of parking (and…read moremind you if you live in the subdivision, you wouldn't need to park and drive anyway in most cases). There are plenty of partitions and a pavilion area for events as well as my favorite-a doggie park! Not because I have a dog, but when people bring their furry loved ones to the park they have their own area to run and play-giving walkers and joggers like me some space to exercise. Additionally, this park has a small and big dog park. And not to make anyone confused about the definition of small and big, they put the weight requirement on the signage to each park. You know that this a dog friendly park based on all the doggie doo receptacles all around the park too. Did not spot not a ONE pile of doggie doo on my walk. Thank you dog parents for being kind and not leaving doggie doo behind! For human parents, you can come to this park and not have to worry about bad weather delaying your plans to take your child to the park since the playground area is covered. Many parents even bring chairs and sit around the playground area to watch their children play and protected from some of the elements. If you look closer by the events doorway there is a book depot for people to leave books and take books. I love seeing these in communities because it not only supports the importance of reading but creates a sense of community. For a quick walk before running some errands or to let your kids play (human and furry) this is a nice park to visit anytime of the year.
