Good public parking lot and boat ramp for launching into Clear Lake. Two boat launches are available and there's also bank fishing capabilities. It's right down the road from NASA.

This park has a gorgeous view of Clear Lake, covered picnic seating area, playground equipment, a fishing pier, and ample free parking. Great for families of all ages. It's easily accessible from NASA Parkway.

Great view of the water. The fishing pier.

Every time I go to clear lake park it's so beautiful. Perfect view. Great place to take your dogs. We went today to eat dinner. Stopped at wingstop and went to the park to eat. I recommend going, taking your family and enjoy. Watch the ducks, fish, or do like we do sometimes, go crabbing. We've caught a great number of crabs. Great place to go.

Today's my birthday, and I was fortunate to celebrate it here. Get this, though. The party I went to wasn't for me but for a young nephew of a family friend who happened to be born a day after I was. About the park, simply beautiful. If you're on the right side of it, you get a majestic view of its namesake, Clear Lake. Mother Nature was cooperating so visitors were able to see all the way to Kemah to the east. Towering above the green is the Endeavor high rise. It should be noted that you'll be kissed by a slight breeze if you get closer to the lake. Now, the rub. One of the men's rooms lacks doors on their stalls. That said, and forgive me for providing TMI, doing a No. 2 is ill-advised. Overall, Clear Lake Park presents itself as the place to be for picnics, cookouts, festivals, and anything else that's meant to be done outdoors.

We were driving by and saw this park and we had to stop and check it out. The kids were cooling off in the water fountains shaped as Dolphins. It was a very clean park which seemed under utilized. Maybe used more on a weekend. There was a large bathroom building next to the fountains. As we drove away we realized it was a section of Clear Lake Park. Too bad my grandkids are too old because they would have loved it as small kids.

I had a choice today to take myself to look at some shoes that I wouldn't buy or take my dog, Pocky to Clear Lake park. (Hint: I've been wanting to take him here for the longest) Guess what, I made a smart choice and I took him to the park. He loved it!! We walked along side the shore it was very nice, the breeze felt soooooo good, and my dog couldn't stop smiling. You could tell he was relieved, that he loved it. And I did some deep thinking. Perfect place to relax, and think about things. It was so many people and families there. I felt pretty bad because it was a family oriented park, but I don't have any close family and my mutual family don't care to spend no time with me. But likewise, everybody has a life story. Though, I enjoyed my time with Pocky. He really makes me happy. The shore of where the water was coming up, it was dead fish. Poor fish, I felt bad for them, that they had to die like that. Nice park, about a dozen playgrounds for children, adults, or whoever to play on, plenty places to picnic, a pier, just little parking. They need more parking lots for this large crowd.

Such a wonderful place, I grew up around this area but never got to explore it until now. So clean and family oriented. If you're gonna do water sports, there's a number of docks here, to the right under a bridge is calm water but the bridge underpass has low suspension! Sail boat with mast up won't make it! the rest opens to the marina, and waters can be a little rough without something motorized! It's never too crowded, water is clean with food fishing or crabbing out their dinners, just the sweetest sight.

Nice day to go sailing. Easy to launch a sunfish, but would be better on a day with more wind.

    Outdoor workout equipment

Got married here & now my family comes here to play Nice looking outdoor workout equipment on the side with the tennis courts and historical building! The pictures are from the side with NO splash pad.

My 2nd to youngest daughter here with birds. We were feeding them bread earlier while my other kids were at the sprinklers.

I've been coming here pretty much daily at lunch to just hang out and chill and get away from the office. As soon as it cools off some I plan on walking around the little track just to get the blood circulating after sitting at my desk all morning. This park has it all! Numerous play areas, a museum (which I plan on checking out sooner rather than later), a dock, lots of parking spaces, tons of shaded benches, bbq pits (although because of the drought they can't be used right now), tennis courts, bathrooms....what doesn't this park have? I'm not sure I can add anything that hasn't been mentioned; they do have a lot of festivals and the like here so it probably can get pretty busy on the weekends, but during the week it's pretty quiet. If you're in the area, check it out! You will probably see me there!

Splash pad. Closes at 8:00. There is a Pokestop right here. And 5 others at the park.

I'm not going to lie, as I was reading the reviews from Yelp and Google about Stevenson, I thought…read moreto myself, how can anyone call this park beautiful if it's stuck in the heart of Friendswood, TX? It wasn't until I got out of my vehicle and stepped on the red trail, walking, seeing so many dedication gardens in every area of the park. Who knew that Friendswood had its own flag to be flown so high next to the Texas and US flags? That is what made me feel that this park was a beauty, and I even thought of my surname park, Wilshire Park in Portland, OR. This park and that park can be compared to each other since both are surrounded by trees shading the path around the perimeter of the green space. Both have spaces for children to play, but Stevenson has added amenities, including the on-site pool, Texas native wildflower garden, splash pad, basketball, and tennis courts. The trail is 1/2 mile long, winding, and semi-narrow; when I am trying to tap into mindfulness, I tend to walk slower than a regular-paced person, and as I was walking, other park-goers were cutting me off to overwalk me and not giving me space when passing me up. I would have liked the path to be a tad wider in width to prevent this from happening. Nonetheless, it's still overall a solid neighborhood park and one would say a hidden gem. I wasn't expecting this place to be what it was and had a prenotion bias that it would have been like Frankie Carter Randolph and 1776 Park (two parks that I don't care for); but I am happy that it wasn't. Huge spacious parking lot with restrooms onsite. I think the artwork is from the same artist who painted bayou birds, natives, and animals at the Lynn Gripon (park in League City, TX) and Exploration Green (park in Clear Lake, Houston, TX), which is pretty cool if they are local to the area. I will have to add to this my list of parks to explore in the evenings and weekends!

There are plenty of partitions and a pavilion area for events as well as my favorite-a doggie park! Not because I have a dog, but when people bring their furry loved ones to the park they have their own area to run and play-giving walkers and joggers like me some space to exercise. Additionally, this park has a small and big dog park. And not to make anyone confused about the definition of small and big, they put the weight requirement on the signage to each park. You know that this a dog friendly park based on all the doggie doo receptacles all around the park too. Did not spot not a ONE pile of doggie doo on my walk. Thank you dog parents for being kind and not leaving doggie doo behind! For human parents, you can come to this park and not have to worry about bad weather delaying your plans to take your child to the park since the playground area is covered. Many parents even bring chairs and sit around the playground area to watch their children play and protected from some of the elements. If you look closer by the events doorway there is a book depot for people to leave books and take books. I love seeing these in communities because it not only supports the importance of reading but creates a sense of community. For a quick walk before running some errands or to let your kids play (human and furry) this is a nice park to visit anytime of the year.

Upon entering we were greeted, paid ($25 for play, $5 arcade, slice of pizza, socks and a drink), stamped, and let in. The play space was jammed pack! Full of children and parents. This place is a lot and I wouldn't recommend this place to parents/ guardians younger than 4-5 y/o. It's hard for adults to see their kids unless they are in the "playground" with them. They also put a stamp on everyone in your party's hand to make sure no one is leaving with anyone not in their immediate party. It was fun when my youngest was under a year old because they have a whole baby section that is blocked off from the rest of the play areas. It's gated and they have an attendant there making sure it's only babies and not older kids. It's really nice because this way the babies don't get hurt by older kids. The rest of the play space is an absolute free-for-all. There are slides, a ball pit, climbing areas, padded things to play on, pretend play areas and even an arcade. My oldest is over coming here, it's not really for teenagers, and my preteen is almost done here too. My 6-year-old still loves coming here, though. It's not too pricey either which is great. It does get crazy busy on the weekends. I have found that the best time to come is first thing in the morning when they first open.
