This is a really nice little park that makes for a great stopping point in the middle of the 6-mile trail loop. There's bathrooms, water fountains, picnic benches and grills, and a fishing pier. NOTE: You do have to pay to get here if you drive if you're not a resident. Or, just park elsewhere and walk/run there and enjoy it all for free! You can see the Kemah Bridge from the pier, so if you've run over it, you can look and say, hey I can run that. Or, if you want to run over it, you can look and it and say, wow I can't wait to run over that! It's a pretty little area that makes for a great stopping point on the trail loop!

Other than expensive entry fee! Per car: 5$ seniors, 5$-10$ residents, 10$-$20 non Seabrook residents mon -thurs and Fri-sun pricing and 30$ during holidays! We went Friday afternoon apparently "good Friday" is legitimate and they charge for holiday even though it wasn't easter Sunday yet. Although I understand charging to keep parks private and clean but 30$ is a bit much unless there's more to offer. Nice and Peaceful area. Fishing pier. Public Restrooms. Trails but not too impressive as far as trails go. Lots of hills to play on. 7 Slides. Playground needs to be updated. Swings. Big Sandbox area. Forts for your creative kids! Listen to the ocean while you relax with your family...or alone ;) will definitely go again

Does anyone know if the bridge is fixed, the one where you fish?, last time I went with my father it was completely gone. Any updates?

It doesn't really look like much when you…read morepull in; you see a little pond (I call it the Turtle Pond because, well, it's full of turtles!) and you think this is it? Well, keep driving around the pond and to the back.....oh yeah, that's more like it! There's a running/walking trail, tons of picnic tables with grills, a covered pavilion, a disc golf course (Frisbee golf? I'm not sure what it's called, but I always see people playing!), a playground, a fishing pier, a volleyball court and a baseball field and plenty of trash cans with dog pooper-scooper stations so you have no excuse to not pick up after your pet! They do allow dogs off the leash here but please be a responsible pet owner and clean up after your pet! It's usually not real busy mostly because not too many people know it's here except for the people in the neighborhood. Wait. I may have just messed that up, huh? lol It's within walking distance of my work so I like to come here at lunch and walk around the trail. It's very well maintained and partly cement and partly small rock. It can get muddy after a rain of course, but that's everywhere. And they did build a wood bridge over a spot that was always flooding, which is nice. If you're in the area and want a nice, well-maintained park to have a picnic, or just walk around and take in the sights (the trail runs along part of Taylor Lake which is part of Galveston Bay), this a great place for that!

From this end of the trail system, you can access a number of route options with running among the trees, along the road, and by the water. Highly recommend these trails and commend the city for their commitment for providing a great place for people to exercise and socialize. Wish more cities would make these sorts of investments. These trails are great for those who want to get in longer distances without stressing the joints by running on concrete or asphalt.
