During my swim, I noticed scuba lessons taking place nearby. The buoys and entry ramps could benefit from an upgrade or repairs. The changing booths are not very reliable, so it's recommended to change in your car or truck post-swim. There is a hose available for rinsing off after your swim. While there are nice picnic tables, there are no designated secure areas to leave your belongings while in the water, so it's best to keep all valuables in your vehicle. Overall, a pleasant location for a swim.

Pinky's made it so easy to reserve, communicate when we had to make a schedule change, and help my guests feel at ease on the water! They handle the kayak transportation, life jackets, quick paddling instructions, and even provided dry bags and bottle of water! The two people who run this local business are friendly common sense people, who will work with you to make the trip a good one. The price is well worth the trip! Great communication too. We showed up at Bay Area Park at our designated time (we had decided on 2pm). The boats were waiting and ready on the dock along with paddles and life jackets. We were offered a dry bag, but we brought our own. We were also given two bottles of water for the trip and loaned a map of the Bayou. We accidentally brought home the map. I need to return that to them. Anyway.... With a very easy launch, we were on the water and paddling. The bayou was low that day but there were no issues. Did you know there are bald eagles out there? We saw alligators but they kept their distance and so did we. However, we did stop to watch when two alligators got in a fight! Tails were in the air, big splashes... It was crazy. I've never seen anything like it and we got a front row seat. Absolutely amazing, y'all! I loved seeing all of the different birds. The osprey were so cool. And there were fish jumping out of the water near our boats. Just a surreal experience. Y'all gotta try Pinky's. Prices are reasonable and they're just super nice people. The experience on the bayou was so incredible, we're already planning to get back out there as soon as the weather clears up.

I hate to say, but this guy is extremely grumpy, rude, disrespectful, and even racist. His uninviting personality was so unpleasant, we left. Scam Alert!!!! Scam Alert!!! I rented two jet skis on a Thursday with a $300 deposit each and $89…read moreper hour. The jet skis will return and the deposit was returned. This guy Tanner calls me the following Saturday to tell me we damaged the jet skis. I told him whatever damage occurred occurred in the days he did not contact us about the damage. He wanted me to come in and resolve the issue. I told him no we have pictures and video and if you want to talk to us it will be through a lawyer. After he called with the scam alert proposal I looked at the reviews and figured out which ones were fake and which ones were real. I never seen a business that had either one star or five stars on all the reviews. It's unfortunate that they only allow you to give one star as your lowest rating. How is this place still in business with all the negativity on the reviews across multiple years? Why would you tell me almost 2 Days later we damaged jet skis and you can prove that we were the only ones that rode the jet skis? This business is sickening to the public. This business should not be called a business. I don't consider this a business.. I consider this a scheme by any means necessary to get your deposit. This is a very high deposit which should ring a bell!!!!The reviews are terrible which should ring a bell!!!! The responses to the negative comments should ring a bell!!!! If you rent from these people it's your mistake. If you rent from these people count on them making up something to get your deposit. Read the reviews first. I did not read the reviews first. The goal is to get and keep your deposit. Read the reviews please and do yourself a favor. The one star reviews are real. FAKE BUSINESS FISHING TO WITHHOLD YOUR DEPOSIT!!!! EERILY OBVIOUS EXTORTION Scheme. YOU BE THE JUDGE. After talking to Tanner on the phone he told me he wanted me to send him the video and pictures we had to prove that we didn't damage the jet skis. He made this request after already sending us pictures of the damage that he said we did. The pictures he sent were of jet skis but it did not have a number serial number or anything in the picture to prove it was the jet skis we were on. You couldn't even tell if the picture was taken in this decade. Why would he want me to send him pictures and video of what we have if we really did the damage two days later? Based on these reviews Tanner and the business owner who I have not met should leave the public alone with their scam and get out of Texas. How about y'all run off into the sunset and brag to each other about how y'all don't have any gag reflexes.

Okay, the professional photos and social media make this place look way cooler than it actually is…read more For $25, you get a glorified neighborhood pool with access to buy overpriced food and drinks. Like the other reviewers stated, half the lagoon was closed and unavailable to the public. You could use the beach chairs, but no access to the water unless you walk to the other end of the property. At that price point you'd be better off finding a friend with a pool or an apartment pool and just going there. seats with umbrellas are limited unless you get there within the first 30 minutes of opening and the ones that are next to the water entrance are overcrowded with parents and children. I guess the appeal is way more for adults who have children and like to drink in front of them. The water course gets full and you have to sign up hour (s) in advance and the bumper boat area is small. In my opinion, they need quite a few things to feel like your $25 was worth something. Umbrellas for every pair of chairs would be a great start, or tables for the lounge chairs, and few extra attendants to run food and drinks. Overall, this is an overpriced pool that I would not back to without upgrades.
