Bacon cheese burger
Missy A.

Food: For appetizers we ordered Brussel sprouts, topped with pumpkin seeds, bacon, and local honey. They were good. We also ordered the coconut shrimp w/ sweet chili sauce and that was definitely my favorite part of my meal. So delicious! Especially the sauce! Entree: I ordered the bacon cheese burger, it was good. Could have used a bit more seasoning on the meat and the bacon could have been cooked longer, but I did enjoy it. The French fries were delicious. Ambiance: cute little bar style. Very clean. Loved that there was a gentleman there singing. Not sure if this is just a weekend thing. We came on a Saturday. Lots of different types of people there. Very chill and cozy vibes. Loved the dimmed lighting. Service: sadly I forgot our servers name but wow was he great! Very patient, kind, and funny. Very attentive. Overall the experience was great. I would 100 percent come back and it's definitely worth checking out!

Went here on a Sunday during brunch time. But there is brunch, lunch, and full menu options! I went for the steak and eggs, and I was surprised on how large my steak was, it was cooked perfectly. Also everyone at the table received the little red peppers on their plate and they are so good definitely try them. Just a cute quirky thing to mention. Everyone at my table really enjoyed their meals! The service was fast and friendly.

Hubby and I visited for the 2nd time 1/29/2025 at apx 5:15 pm. We sat at the bar as we only wanted a snack and a beverage. Jess promptly greeted us and took our drink order. The restaurant is surprisingly much bigger than it appears from the road. It was very clean with families, bar patrons, and couples mingled in. Jess recommended two amazing appetizers, cheddar potato kegs and chicken dumplings. Omg! Both are so tasty and delicious. The potato kegs are light and fluffy, crazy good. The sauce for them is very mild. We recommend an added sauce with a bit of heat added. We also met a regular, Bryan who was very helpful and one of the owners who was very friendly and printed us the menu for Super Bowl Sunday. Check the website for more info on superbowl. Great place, lots of tv's for sports lovers.

Ok wow! We unintentionally came here for brunch at 1 on Sunday. We heard there was a steak deal on Sundays so we planned on that but everything on the brunch menu sounded awesome and it was too early for the steak dinner. Didn't plan on eating that type of food but changed our mind either way. I started off with a cappuccino and it was delicious. There were 6 of us, 3 of us got the steak and eggs special. My mom got the fish and chips from the regular menu and my husband got a crispy chicken sandy from the regular menu too. Everyone enjoyed their food a lot! I got the chicken and waffles from the brunch menu and it was perfect!! It was boneless chicken, easy to eat and so flavorful. Best chicken and waffles spin I've had! I want it again :) service was great, ambiance cute! There was a private party in a room to the side which looked like a great idea and I'd inquire about that in the future! I loved Monroe social 6 years ago and I loved it yesterday soo I obviously need to make it there more often. Highly recommend!

We came here on a Saturday afternoon and they had a brunch and lunch menu. We ended up picking from both. They had a special omelette that was very good. The Social salad was a great choice and the kids had the Philly cheesesteaks. Free warm bread is offered to start. The meals were all presented well and the food was good. The fries were very tasty. Ambiance is nice with friendly staff, good music in the background-just loud enough to hear but not overbearing-and a good looking interior.

Always a solid meal to be had at monroe social. Lovely wait staff who are patient with my 3 kids, good drinks and fantastic food. We went tonight and there's all day happy hour and the apps were $3.00 off! Score! We ordered so many - and I was able to use it as my meal. Everyone else at the table ordered an actual meal and everything went (we really like food and we're hungry). My top choices were the steamed Buffalo chicken meatballs and the chicken dumplings but my favorite was the coconut shrimp. I didn't expect them to be nearly as delicious as they were. My burrata salad with prosciutto and tomato was good- not the beat burrata I have ever had (actually was more like mozzarella) but still good. My daughter's shrimp tacos were incredible and my son loved his chicken sliders. They have daily specials/deals, so it's definitely good to look into it.

We were greeted & seated by Mone' a nice and pleasant waitress. Decor was bright and unassuming-no Halloween decorations! Awesome job!. Mone' answered all my questions with ease & eagerness to please! Wifey ordered tenders & fries (shoestring variety) and I opted for the patty melt which came with bacon, Swiss cheese & fried onions on toasted, buttered sourdough. Burger cooked, fried onions were sautéed and Swiss melted to perfection! The shoestring fries were just ok, but the patty melt was on point with the addition of bacon,it set a nice saltiness flavor which added to the sandwich! Actually, what took the sandwich to another level was the homemade Green Goddess dressing; creamy herbaceous goodness! I will rate the sandwich with a 4.75 stars out of 5 and the G.G.D. a 5 stars out of 5 stars (a rarity for me) giving props where it's due. Shoestring fries a 3.00 out 5 stars; nothing was wrong with them but not my personal preference! The 5 chicken tenders were hot, crispy & juicy strips of flavorful bites! They received a 4 stars out if 5 stars. But wait: we were treated by our waitress with an appetizer pancake which was a pumpkin spice, pecan & powder sugar syrupy deliciousness. There was just enough pumpkin spice not to be overpowering and not too sweet with the syrup with the pecans completed the dish just right.Awesome job & a big Thank You to Mone' for being so nice and kind to us. Service was a 5 stars out of 5 stars! We will be back... Chef Clinton

Thanks to fellow helpers, we found this restaurant…read more Went during the week, and it wasn't busy. Just one other couple in the main dining room. Several couples at the bar. Had to wait a few minutes for the hostess, which gave us an opportunity to view their decor. Main dining room is actually divided in two but was spacious. Waitress immediately stopped by to get our drinks settled. She was welcoming and friendly. Their menu had a lot of choices, so we just ordered the fried calamari to start. In the meantime, she brought warm rolls while we decided on entrees. Saw photos of their hamburgers and knew my husband would love it. I had a hard choice between the hangar steak or seafood linguini . The calamari came out, so I went for the linguini . The calamari was so Good! Some of the hot peppers were also fried , so be careful. Had a bite and was choking, but just ate more calamari. A winner! Entrees came out and both were so good! My husband was so happy. His hand cut fries were so good too. Cooked exactly as he liked, with Gorgonzola for the cheese. My linguine was really good too. Had scallops and shrimp. There was so much pasta, I couldn't finish. Took it home. Unfortunately, no room for dessert, but I hear their crème brûlée is good too. Have to try it next time. Service was really good. Our waitress checked on us quite a bit. Checkout didn't take long either. In all, we had a terrific meal and good time. Can't wait to return. If you're interested in a good night, stop on by.

We came for a late dinner on a weekend, and they were able to squeeze us in. We went pretty heavy on the appetizers and got some entrees to share. The most note-worthy dishes were: - Jerk Grilled Octopus: it was grilled PERFECTLY. When I first took a bite it you get a lot of jerk seasoning, then it's a slow burn of spice. It also came with a pineapple salsa that brought in some sweetness and acidity. 10/10 - would come back just for this. - Shrimp and Grits: to be quite honest, I only ordered this bc my kids like shrimp. But omg I was not prepared for those grits. They were hands down the best I've had. - Scallops and risotto: scallops were cooked perfectly. And usually not a fan of risotto, but these were pretty decent! Some dishes that can be improved: - Halibut was cooked nicely, but nothing crazy. Lacked a bit of seasoning, and tasted a bit bland. - Oysters: also bland? Lacked brininess and sweetness. - Apple tart and ice cream: Apple tart crust was more something you can handhold and bite into bc it was crunchy and thick like a cookie. Trying to cut into it felt like I was gonna break the plate. Still delicious tho! Service was superb, the host didn't get a chance to chat with us during the meal but made it a point to catch us before we left. Chef also came out to ask how everything was. Loved those little moments that make diners feel appreciated and welcomed like family.

From my understanding, it is a Christmas "pop-up" called Miracle. Since we just showed up without reservations, we sat at the bar, which was totally fine with us. The bartenders were very nice and offered up some recommendations. It turned out, my friend had gone to a Miracle pop-up at another bar weeks before, but hadn't realized it. The space is cozy and was very nicely decorated. I ordered an espresso martini off of their regular menu and my friend ordered the Candy Cane Lane. We didn't order food since we had dinner plans after. Our bill was $37.00, plus the $6 we left for a tip. For two cocktails that were good, but not fantastic, that is a little steep in my opinion. If we each had a second cocktail, it would have been close to $100. It's a bar in Newtown, not the casino. Would I go back? I would, just not during the holidays, and maybe a special occasion.
