Corn Cheese
Lily S.

Service was very friendly and it's conveniently located at the Belmar shopping area, next to the theater. The food is just average, I've had better corn cheese, better boneless wings and better bone-in wings elsewhere, whether it be American or Korean. I'd give it 3.5 stars.

I've put off having Korean Fried Chicken for so long, maybe because I was afraid I wouldn't like it. Fortunately I came to Mono GoGo with my friend, and they set me straight. We arrived right at opening time, though they needed about 20 minutes longer to get everything set, then we plopped ourselves right at the bar and ordered some food. I got the Teriyaki Hot Wings and shared Kimchi Fries with my friend. Those fries were its own meal, honestly. Very saucy. I actually did like the Teriyaki Hot Wings which were recommended by the guy working behind the bar. I'd want to try a few other flavors, as well as the rice cakes. It felt too early for alcohol, but I'd love to dip into their sake and soju selection next time. For parking in this shopping center, I picked a nearby meter, and my friend chose the adjacent Target lot. Didn't realize where Mono GoGo was located, so that caught me off guard. The bartender was nice, and we had an engaging conversation with him... makes me want to come here in the evening and socialize with the locals. Also love the vibes of anime playing on TVs in the backend!

I miss Korean fried chicken. Mono GoGo was very close to filling the void. It's a hip spot to have some trendy fast casual Korean food. There is street parking and probably some close by garage parking as well. We walked in and it definitely had a pop feel to it with a large wall that had a bunch of pictures and writing. Not my cup of bori-cha but all good. The guy that was working gave us a quick smile and seated us with some menus. We ordered the popcorn chicken and 12 piece wings both hot and spicy. Man, there was a LOT of space. It was tasty but a bit messy. Luckily there was a little metal pail with a plastic liner, so we put our vines in there and there was a napkin dispenser on the table. I can't remember if we got some wet wipes but I think we did. The food was good, and the batter was lighter than I thought it might be. Airier might be a better word for it. It definitely stayed crispy throughout the meal and we ate pretty much everything. We also had some kimchee which was cut into really small pieces. I suppose it marinates better? All in all, a good experience, the food was good and the atmosphere made me feel a touch old. :) It's worth visiting next time you're in Lakewood.

Korean fried chicken - great Corn cheese - hard pass. Katsu curry - great Fries - great Korean rice cake - ok Service was ok and food arrived decently fast. Quiet on a Saturday night.

This place feels like it is hiding behind two big contenders for your food money. However, do not let that deter you from actually having a pretty decent meal. The store is looks like a usual bar style, with TVs and all that jazz, but they did have anime jamming out on one of them, gotta put those sports entheusiasts in their place! They didn't have table service when I arrived, but they did get the food your ordered to your table. As for that food... Delicious! It has been a while since I got a solid Korean-styled chicken sandwich with good slaw. Seriously, don't shame your family and go here for lunch!

Food was excellent and their sauce options are great. Service is fast casual so we ordered at the counter and could sit anywhere. I will definitely come back to try their wings, as I was such a big fan of their sauces. I had the mono fried rice with chicken and it was great, a huge portion too.

So, this location is a more on-the-go version of Mono Mono! Same company, same deliciousness! Upon walking in, we were greeted by Thomas, who's exceptionally friendly and will make your experience dining in or even ordering so great! He informed us of some menu items to try and we opted for the soy garlic wings which did not disappoint! I loved how crispy these wings were and the heat coming off the wing just added to the right temperature and taste. I loved the heavy garlic flavors and the spice that the garlic adds! All around, I enjoyed everything about our experience here and I really appreciated there also being hand sanitizer at each table! The restaurant was clean and bright! A nice setting!

Seasoned fries

Visiting from out of town while my kid was checking out the nearby university, so I had an opp for lunch on my own. Since I was by myself it was a little harder to pick so I settled on simple, an order of seasoned fries and 6 soy garlic wings. I was brought out the fries first, so I ended up eating thru most of that first while waiting for the wings (which ended up taking awhile). Because it was hot and fresh the fries were amazing. Crust was super light, perfectly crunchy, and the inside was soft and flavorful. It was a mix of fries and, what I thought at first were fried little mochi balls (my first thought was, "oh, okay, that a little weird and interesting"), but were actually super light tater tots. Wings finally came out and they were SO good. Not dinky wings either. I could definitely taste the garlic, enough to leave that not-so-pleasant garlic aftertaste. I couldn't finish it all, and had two leftover that I snacked on later in the day. Not so good cold, but still edible. At first, I was a little thrown by the price of 6 wings, but now that I know how big and fresh they come, it's feels a little more reasonable. This place would definitely be great for my family of hungry teens, so I will bring them here if we ever come back to Lakewood. I think the portions are great for sharing!

Best Wings in Town! Javier the chef knows how I like my wings and cooks them to perfection for us every time and makes us feel welcomed. Highly Recommended as all of the food we've tried has been a 10 out of 10. The days of boring traditional wings are over!

Seriously the best fried rice I've had in a long time. The front service could use some help, except the cook! He was so nice and made sure I received my complicated order just the way I wanted it. Muchas Gracias! I had the Moni Fried Rice with the Bulgogi as well as the fried dumplings. Mannnnn it was so good. I will absolutely order this again. Sorry I did not take pics.... I ate that way too fast. My friend had the Gochujang fried wings and she loved it too. A bit spicy but she loved it. I will absolutely come back.

The experience here is exactly what I want from Korean BBQ: lively, satisfying, and easy to settle into for a while. The cheese corn is an absolute must and easily one of the best sides on the table. The steamed egg was fluffy and comforting, and the meats were the real highlight. The pork belly was rich and well cut, the bulgogi was flavorful, and the short ribs were tender and cooked beautifully. Add a few bottles of soju and suddenly you've lost track of time in the best way. This is the kind of place you go with friends, order generously, and just enjoy the night. The quality of the meat is good, the portions were big enough for the two of us, but definitely would not be enough if there were more in our party. This isn't an AYCE place like many other Korean BBQ restaurants, so expect to pay per meat selection. The prices are comparable to other non-AYCE restaurants in Aurora though. Total for the two of us: about $200, which included the tip. We dined on a weeknight so there wasn't a wait but I assume there is one on the weekends since the restaurant is fairly small. The service was fast and friendly and they checked on us often. Brush up on your parallel parking since only street parking is available.

I ordered the honey garlic as well as spicy garlic chicken tenders, but I could have gotten them as wings, thighs, or a mix even. The texture of the chicken tenders were spot on, and the juiciness of chicken breast inside the breading was just right! If you like spicy food, I recommend the spicy garlic - it was just the right amount of gochujang spice along with garlic. I had to take a few breaks since my spice tolerance has dropped. LOL. I did order some of their homemade kimchi and pickled radish. I highly recommend the radish. As for the kimchi, if you love kimchi then go for it. I enjoyed the kimchi and it definitely tasted homemade. I came around 1:30pm on a Saturday afternoon so it was not very busy. My food came out quickly. The customer service from the front counter guy as well as the owner who was walking around tidying up was very good as well. At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.
