My correspondence with Jackie their office support was fantastic comparing against others. She was quick on email and I had an appt booked for an estimate within a week or two as it was spring and the weather was getting nice. Joey showed up, took a video, and I had my estimate in hand in a day. He listened to exactly the look and product I wanted used. It was not an easy cookie cutter patio. Their price was in line with the other 3 estimates I got back for the same project. The project started fast because it was going to be a 4 day job so they fit it into a slot of space they had. Within another week or two they had the crew come excavate my backyard patio area and demo my walkway that was concrete and needing replacement. The excavating team was about 5-6 guys and they worked quick to go deep for the patio. Next day they were installing the paver I chose which was a Unilock Copthorne paver. It had to be hand blended and I wanted a herringbone pattern. The backyard patio was a 90 degree herringbone and the walkway was a 45 degree herringbone. Both came out fantastic. His guys were so good especially the ones they are blending and wet sawing all the edges. They work so well together and their team is really professional. I would highly recommend them for your backyard needs like patios, walkways, bbq, fire pits, hardscaping etc.

When Kyle came to give us a quote, he had some incredible ideas and told us exactly what he'd do if it were his home. We trusted his advice and are so happy we did. They showed up on time every day with a smile on their faces, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving for the night. The work the team did to transform our backyard and garden spaces was nothing short of amazing. I would recommend Kyle and his teams to anyone. Renato and his crew came out to do a small job, installing a new paver walkway and properly edging…read morea pre-existing walkway that was installed incorrectly by the original builder. While discussing the job with Renato he noted that the original builder had also installed one paver that was a different color than the others and offered to fix it while they re-did the edging (great!). Towards the end of the job I went out to take a look and noticed that the crew had incorrectly installed the edging pavers in an intermediate section of the walkway. Once informed they remediated the issue (again, great!). However, it appears as though when they did so, they accidentally reinstalled the mis-colored paver. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until the next day because they had to soak the entire walkway with water in order for the crushed stone to set, and so all of the pavers were wet and dark. Mistakes happen, I get it. But the reason for the 2 star review isn't that the mistake was made - it was how it was how Renato handled it (or didn't). Over the ensuing three weeks I texted Renato on three different occasions about the issue, asking him to have a crew return and resolve it. He didn't respond to any of my messages. Unfortunately my experience was similar to one of the other reviewers - the quality of the work was good, but the service provided when confronted with a quality issue was nonexistent.

End of June Sydney let us know they were delayed one week, due to the weather, and they would start second week in July. Perfectly understandable. Second week in July, when the work was scheduled, she wrote to say David was backing out of his commitment altogether, due to being "overwhelmed with catching up on pre-scheduled projects and ongoing maintenance accounts." MCE Arrived prepared with everything needed to transform a terribly overgrown, newly acquired property, which had been terribly neglected. I figured since it was going to be no charge, I'd get a little bit of help. My expectations were highly exceeded. Front, back, and side yards all weeded, weed-wacked, mowed, raked, leaves blown and removed (driveway too,) hedges trimmed, and massive amounts of sticks and debris all taken away, 3 trips to the dump. The job was enormous, and despite over 8 hours in grueling heat they came back the next day to finish the job! I cant thank them enough for getting my yard on the way to recovery. Tristan is an honest, really hardworking, enterprising business man; who listens to what you want done and has great ideas of how to fix problems. It's great to know that being new to the area, I can trust someone with my property! I plan to work with MCE going forward.
