Absolutely love this place! They always have fresh food and big portions if you order to go! Dined in store a couple of times and buffet bar always stayed dull, but you can definitely tell there's been a lot of feet walking on the carpet. Overall foods fantastic but the restaurant could use a little TLC. read more

This place is a humble stop but nails it on food quality every time. The chefs are so fast and there's so many food options. I love the all you can eat bowl cause I can try many combinations in one sit down. There's also so many oils and sauces you can add which are absolutely amazing. The chef will recommend or dish up the sauces and oils for you if you want a professional grade meal. Very reasonably priced and consistent every time. One of my favorite regular stops. read more

I've been here dozens of times and only once was the service less than excellent. The food is great, the lines move smoothly when there actually are lines (which is rare), the place is clean and the cooks are quick, effective and kind. I recommend either doing the all-you-can-eat bowls, or if you're taking your food to go, be sure to get the Barbarian size. read more

I love this place. I think it's probably my favorite Mongolian BBQ restaurant in town. Hu Hot is good too, but I prefer this one because it just seems to taste fresher. They always have tons of veggies and yummy sauces. And don't forget to add rooster sauce! The staff here is always very friendly. One time I came in after not going in for a few months and the lady said she missed me. I didn't even realize I was a regular! read more

Came here for take out but you can also eat lunch (all you can eat) for 9.99! I got the largest bowl (barbarian) for 11.75 so with tax was almost $13. This was a good deal because it fed me for two meals. I like that they have fresh tofu (their meat was just a tad chewy, the beef I believe). They have this rule where if you go over 3 inches they charge you extra and my friends and I were pretty close to this but they did not seem to mind. Just add a LOT of sauce because even tho I had more than half a bowl full of sauce, my noodles were still in need of some salt and maybe a bit more sauce. I would definitely come here again for their all you can eat though. That way you can eat as much variety as you want, without trying to cram it into a bowl. read more

VERY NICE PEOPLE! I wouldnt say its the best Ive been to... I dont think paying $40 to eat here for our family of 4, 2 adults, 2 kids is worth it for dinner; however, Id come again for lunch. read more

We went last night to eat here. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. The food was good and they kept the establishment clean. The meat and veggies offered was a great variety. The chef helped come up with great concoctions of sauces which tasted great. read more

A boiled, tasteless mess of yuck... Yes, it is cooked on a grill, but the cook added a cup or more of water to my food. It was gross. The water sitting in the bottom of my bowl was nauseating. read more

Mongolian BBQ - Ugh - Mongolian Near Me - Spokane Valley, Washington

The best Mongolian style BBQ around, for sure. Hu Hot is ok, but they way they cook it leaves it dry. Hu Hot also serves it on a flat plate. Which allows the outside bottom portion to always end up cool by the time you get down to it. This Mongolian BBQ, however, cooks it to ensure it stays moist and tasty. If you don't put enough sauces in your bowl, they will hand it back to you to put more in. They will also add a bit of water, if necessary, in ensure it cooks properly and with enough moisture. Also, they serve your meal in a bowl, which helps to keep it hot until the the last bite. The rice is included, whereas Hu Hot charges for the rice. The sauces are just right too, at least for me, and the perfect selection of veggies and meats. (love the lamb and the fire oil!) Obviously, I can't say enough about this one. I've tried Hu Hot many times and several other Mongolian style BBQ's in the area (CDA, Post Falls, Spokane, Spokane Valley, etc.) But, this location and their Airway Heights location are consistently my favorite. read more

Enjoyed a Giant Kahn bowl that was more than I needed of a large selection of fresh veggies, meats and add on seasonings. I feel like I am eating healthy food here and like it! Pepsi products and I am a Coke guy so I drank iced tea at a reasonable price. Bill with tip was $15 Qualifies to me as a good value for dinner! read more

Very delicious! I very much enjoyed Mongolian BBQ as there's a ton of fresh vegetables and meats to choose from on the bar, and the entire staff is very helpful. They gladly helped me as it was my first time and explained how it worked. I also liked that they had 3 size bowls plus an all you can eat option at different price points. For someone like me who has a smaller appetite and all-you-can-eat is a waste of money, the one time bowls at a lower price were a definite deal. The server always kept my water filled and had rice waiting for me when I returned with my food. And the person at the BBQ pit, helped me choose a delicious blend of flavor. The actual restaurant is nothing fancy. Not much in the way of decor, pop music playing, and a basketball game on a TV. The five stars aren't for the decor though; the five stars are for the delicious and fresh food. If you're in this part of town, I would definitely go here. read more

I drive past this place 2, 3 and sometimes 4 times a day. I have never had Mongolian much less Mongolian BBQ. It always has a pretty full parking lot. A friend convinced me that my husband and I needed to try it so we did. The food was super fresh and so many choices of meat, vegetables and even some fruit. The sauces we plentiful and delicious! Make sure you follow the chef's recommended "mixture" I did not and my husband did. Made a huge difference. The staff was VERY nice and friendly. Will definitely be returning soon. read more

AMAZING! Hot, fresh and healthy! Definitely NOT tasteless. I did have to "learn" how to use the sauces correctly. In my opinion, you MUST start with the "chef recommendations" which is posted near the sauces(Mongolian, BBQ, plum/hot and sour, garlic, and sesame oil) at a minimum... and then add additional per your taste. Hands down, one of our favorites in the valley. read more

I went for lunch and had an explosion of taste in my mouth. Everything is fresh, clean, and cooked in front of you. I love seeing them cook my food on that big grill :-) The customer service is great, friendly and inviting, and you can see the passion in the employees for what they do! read more

Mongolian BBQ - You choose what you want in your bowl, an explosion of taste in your mouth! - Mongolian Near Me - Spokane Valley, Washington

I will never return to this place again. Went there with some friends, one got the XL bowl and two of us for medium bowls. We saw the sign posted that said "you will be charged an additional $3.99 for bowls stacked over 3 inches" so I kept that in mind and made sure I didn't stack too excessively; however the noodles and veggies shrink up so much so if I were to only fill it flat, I would end up only eating half of a bowl of food. SO, I stacked mine a little bit but no where near up to 3 inches. When we got to the cooks he pulled the terryaki sauce away from my friend and told him that's enough. We were blown away at how rude that was when we are paying customers - well fast forward to our food being done cooking we noticed the cook placed both of our medium bowls into an XL bowl (wasn't even full) but just thought he did that to be careful. We eat our food and sit at our table waiting for drinks to be refilled for almost 10 minutes. Finally brings us our bill and asks if we would like a refill - we check out our bill and realize we were charged for three XL bowls so I thought it was an honest mistake and asked about it. The woman who helped me was extremely rude saying sorry it's our own faults that we stacked over 3 inches. I explained to her I saw the sign and was very conscious of making sure I didn't stack too much. She said sorry there's nothing we can do. She then walked away and had another guy ring us up. I was disappointed in the service we received from the First Lady, but this guy was totally humiliating and embarrassing for his company. He laughed at us and told us we were being ridiculous. We explained we were disappointed in the charges. While talking with him a couple walked in and he interrupted us by telling them "sorry I'm dealing with difficult customers, go ahead and take a seat" I looked at him and said sorry for being difficult but we are paying customers and just paid you $65.00 for our three bowls of noddles and received horrible service. We also had a child with us and gave the guy a $1 bill that he put in the cash register but got so distracted making rude comments for us that he forgot to give us the 4 quarters to spend in their candy machines for the child. We then had to ask him for our four quarters and he responded "do you think I'm just going to give you change, how about you give me money" we stated we just had given him a dollar and he says "oh fuck, you're right" and hands us our quarters. It was a horrible experience to say the least and we will never return. I hope which ever manager or owner reads this review at least has cameras so he can look back and watch these scenes because this is NOT how you treat paying customers, or any type of customer for that matter. read more

This is a fantastic Mongolian grill restaurant run by a sweet Vietnamese family. It is impeccably clean, the ingredients are extremely fresh, and they cook your food very quickly without the addition of time of oil like many of these places do. I've been here 3-4 times and I will come back soon. The service is very friendly and the prices are fair. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that -- let's be honest here -- it's really just a hot salad bar. That's just not 5-star fare. read more

I am in love with this restaurant! My dad, who is disabled, has been coming every Monday for 11 years, it's his favorite restaurant. The owner and staff are so kind to him and go out of their way to take good care of him when he comes in because they're such good people! So Genuinely friendly! He always comes home so happy after his dinner there and I so appreciate their kindness! I finally came in to try it for the 1st time tonight and it was amazing in every aspect! Upon coming in I was greeted by the most friendly and polite staff I've encountered in a restaurant! The restaurant was extremely clean and we were seated right away. The food was amazing! The vegetables and meat are so fresh and the variety was plentiful. I loaded up my bowl and then saw a huge variety of sauces to choose from as well! There was so much to choose from I didn't know where to start, so I put some garlic sauce in there and the chef stepped in and asked me if I like mild medium or hot. I told him medium and he proceeded to help me pick out a great variety of sauces....it tasted so good!!! This restaurant is absolutely perfect and I'll definitely look forward to eating there again! An absolute delight in every way! read more

I have been going here for 16 years. This family owned business is clean and well run. Great food, great service. Super kind hosts.

Food was just okay and that's being nice. Highly disappointed in the overall experience.

Perfect place for us! Skip the lines and come to this Mongolian place. It's clean, quick, and everyone is helpful and friendly. I also love that they have chefs specials for sauces because often we don't know what a good combination is. We will be coming back for dates! read more

Cannot share your food unless you wanna be charged $3.99??? What??? Food was okay but the noodle selection was only two choices of an egg noodle and a thick rice noodle. Hu hot has a lot bigger selection and they're practically the same price read more

Mongolian BBQ - Table Menu - Mongolian Near Me - Spokane Valley, Washington

Been here twice and will be back again. We had a favorite Mongolian BBQ place back in California, and this place is almost as good. Good selection of meats, veggies, fruits, etc. with two types of noodles available. Sometimes, it seems like they could clean their veggies a bit better i.e. the sprouts and water cress. The bell peppers also have the seeds in them. They're sauces are good, but a little weak so make sure to use lots! The second time we came here, my husband got a piece of raw pork in his dish but luckily he picked it out. Apart from that bowl, everything has been cooked well and they never burn it. The lunch prices are good and the dinner prices are decent. The place has always been pretty busy when we've gone in. I would recommend this place if you're looking for some good Mongolian BBQ. read more

This is, by far, my favorite Mongolian BBQ restaurant in the Spokane area. The employees are also friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh, the sauces are delicious and everything is always well prepared. read more

Went here a while back with a group of friends, most of us except 2 were pretty disappointed. We didn't even take our leftovers. Their options were pretty limited and it appears they're sauces are watered down. read more

Best Asian food in town! Price is fair, many selection of food! We love this BBQ restaurant.

Have been coming here for years - one of our favorite eating-out places. The staff have always been quite friendly, helpful. Understanding how the bowl sizes work may take a time or two, but it's well worth it. The vegetables and meat are always bright and fresh, and you'll love making up a different sauce every time. Experiment!! Word to the wise: put your veggies and meat in first, then noodles on top. They tell you not to press your food down (hey, they aren't a non-profit) but whichever size you choose, you'll have a wonderful meal. read more

We have been to this restaurant multiple times since we have moved here. We have been for lunch and we have been for dinner. We have been with just us, a couple, and we have been with a variety of different age group members as well. This restaurant has always been clean. Above and beyond expectations. I believe that the price we pay for the all-you-can-eat bowl is extremely Fair. There's quite a few selections along the vegetable and meat line. They clean their Grill between each use so if you're a vegetarian you don't have to worry about the proceeding guest. The wait staff is friendly and extremely accommodating. The place is clean the prices are fair. I strongly recommend you try this one read more

I really do enjoy this place. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 is because I like the huhot sauce collection better. But over all I think this is great food and the service is good! read more

One of my favorite restaurants by far! Little bit pricey after lunch prices end but well worth it because you can bring leftovers home! Staff is always friendly and they have a punchcard if you visit often like I do. Great selection of vegetables and sauces and various bowl sizes. read more

They can't even greet view when you come in and there's a lot of space available. Super lame

Tried this place because my husband loves Huhot and a friend recommended it. The restaurant is impeccably clean and not a drop of sauce or any veggies/meats were on the food bar. It was clean enough to eat off of; I was very impressed. I do agree with other reviews that it is spendy but it is the about the same price as other competitors. What makes this place better than competitors is the sauce stays on the food! At other places I have to tend to cake on the sauce because it burns off, but here they use water which allows the food to cook fully without burning off the flavor. I do think that HuHot has better sauce options but to each their own. I would definitely eat here again because of how clean it is and the quality of the cooking on the grill. Pros: -Food stays moist after cooked -Different size options (little Khan, barbarian, all you can eat, etc) -Each dish cooks one at time -Very clean Cons: -Spendy -Less sauce options read more

Best service I've ever had at a Mongolian BBQ. They were MORE than accommodating for my gluten free needs. What a greatly owned establishment. read more

This place surprised both my husband and me with how delicious it was. I loved all of the options when it came to building your bowl and all of the choices of meats and veggies. I was worried that I would go over board with the sauces so I poured with a light hand. Next time, I will be more generous with my pours to really get more flavor in my dish. I do wish that they would have spices to add to the dishes for those of us who enjoy an extra kick. Overall, both my husband and I were extremely impressed by the customer service and the genuine care each of the waiters had for our experience. We will be back! read more

"Love this restaurant whether in Spok Valley or Airway Heights, the create your own stir fry dishes consistently taste amazing as they are experts on the large grill! This is our "Go to place" weekly as the staff always makes you feel very welcome and this is my idea of delicious comfort food! The abundant meats and veggies to choose from (or put them all in!) are always fresh and with so many sauces to mix and match, your stir fry can be different every time!" So delicious, you need to try it!!! read more

I come here quite often. I love this place. It is very clean and the food is fresh. I like Hu Hut, but I think this place is better. The staff is very friendly and they work very hard to make sure you have everything you need. If you haven't tired it, this is a must. read more

The food was great and was very fresh. The place was spotless clean too. I gave a 4 star instead of five because most of these Mongolian Grill places let you put what you want in the bowl and they grill with no restrictions. This place has a sign that reads something to the fact that if your food is more than 3" above the bowl edges then you will be charged an extra $3+. Really?? Mostly what is in the bowl is noodles. They should just have smaller bowls and let you put what you want then. But at $13+ for the large bowl it was already pretty pricey in my opinion. Another odd thing was my wife and I both got a LOT of gas after eating here. read more

Service really good and it was clean but everything is just kind of one note. After a few bites it's hard to get excited about it.

We love this establishment!! Friendly, happy and clean!!!! No better customer service anywhere. read more

The prices are high and the sauces are watered down. Waiter asked how are food was and I said "it was flavorless" and he said nothing and turned around and walked away.
