I have never reviewed this place, but it is an oldie but goodie. I have been here several times and it never disappoints. Happy is , stir fry is fresh, and sushi is delish. I usually sit at the bar and Joe is an awesome bartender. My fave drink is the Lycee Martini. Nothing too great about the decor, but it's clean and plenty of seating. I personally like to make my own bowl with Pad Thai noodles or rice. Another good option is their combo. You have your choice of sashimi, sushi, or roll.

From the Happy Hour menu: Lemon pepper wing combo with fries, Spicy Edamame, and Gyoza.

On January 17,2026, Me and my friend wanted to our sushi fix. Our waiter shared that they had a new Happy Hour menu ,so I decided to order all my food and drinks from that menu . Also, our waiter was very friendly and gave us amazing service. The ambiance was warm and inviting ,and also they played good music for everyone to listen too. Mongo, will always be that prefect place to for affordable good food, and great drinks hands down!!!

This is a large, open restaurant with booths and tables. You can order bowls off the menu or go up and choose your ingredients. Our server, Rana, was quite helpful as this was our first time here. We had stuffed jalapeños as an appetizer and it was yummy. Hubby had the Mongolian seafood bowl and I had the Thai pepper beef bowl. Both were quite delicious as was my peach margarita. We will be back.

Met up with a couple of friends Thursday night for their all day happy hour and sat at the bar. The service at the bar was great. The bartender was very attentive. I tried the Mongo Tea, which is their version of a Long Island. Truthfully it was a little weird to me as I didn't read the ingredients and thought it was a regular Long Island. They put tea in theirs and I'm just not a fan. It was my fault though for not reading the obvious ingredients on the menu. Moved to rum and Coke after that and it was good. As far as the food... I ordered eggrolls as an app and they were good! Yummy. Ended up going with the chicken hibachi and I was just ok. Not really what I was expecting as I usually get chicken hibachi at Sakura and it's soooo different at mongos. They don't use a lot of seasoning, if any, and their white sauce is like water. My friends had the chicken friend rice and wontons and said they were good. The restaurant was nice and clean. Bathrooms were clean. Atmosphere was good. I'll definitely be back. Just not for hibachi.

Daily happy hour everyday. Came with hubby and son. Food was good but drinks are a no. Water taste funny and first sprite was brown, second one had black stuff floating in it. Flavor lemonade are no refills. But rice is delicious.

The bartender Joseph provided great service. I ordered the crunchy roll cooked for $7 and a mango martini from the happy hour all day menu and both were yummy. I've been coming here on and off for a while and the drinks are always strong. It's a good place to stop in and grab a drink or affordable food before or after you shop. The place and welcoming and the service is pretty good. I recommend it.

We randomly stopped in to check out this place as we never been. I do have to say , " the food was Good, the service was fast , and the meals were at an affordable price. This night, we opted for sushi , drinks and appetizers, which was very good . We figured , we would try it out first before we go for dinner. Pleasantly, the food was fresh , hot and had great flavor . Our service was great as well. Next time, I plan to explore the dinner menu. This to me deserves 4 stars as I had no issues with the service, comfortability, food or pricing.

Decided to try this due to the eat drink HTX 2024 special. We were able to get 3 courses for $25! What a steal! The process was very easy and the waiter was attentive to our needs. Definitely a nice restaurant for a date night. We went to the bar to make our bowl, when our table was clean. That is the only reason why I am giving this restaurant 4 stars. Our appetizers were gone as well as our drinks. The waiter was so nice that he refilled our drinks and appetizers. Overall, it was a good experience.

We've previously enjoyed doing the best of both worlds pairing, but since they've added Tom Yum, we now do the pot split 3 ways. The self-serve buffet always has fresh veggies and seafood choices. Our favorites include the spinach, bok choy, shrimp, clams, sweet potato, corn, and pumpkin. I think they've done away with the lobster balls which used to be my favorite, but I've since switched to dumplings which are tasty. I love the items from the hot bar- the orange chicken is yummy. Service was fast, and what seemed like a seemingly small building was actually bustling. We ordered the Best of Both Worlds option and requested the Spicy Bone Marrow along with the Tomato Broth; they complement each other quite well, with the Spicy Bone Marrow being our personal favorite. It is definitely spicy, but nothing that I couldn't handle. The Tomato Broth was delicious as well, but added a nice sweetness to our meal. We chose the Classic All-You-Can-Eat lunch deal, and ordered a plate of the Natural Prime-Aged Lamb, the Hand Sliced Beef Short Plate, the Marinated Garlic Beef, and the Pork Belly; I can't say I'm a huge fan of how they divided the meat selections, however, since I could get premium meat elsewhere without being limited. But overall, the meat was of decent quality, and the buffet offered various options. Compared to other hot pot places, they even had a section where you could serve yourself egg rolls, white rice/fried rice, and stir-fried noodles, though I can't speak to the quality... very much buffet-quality if you catch my drift, but still lovely nonetheless. Similarly, you can fetch your own iced drinks and dessert too. I do wish Happy Lamb's sauce station had special pre-made flavors or instructions for making them, much like Shabu Zone or Haidilao; sometimes I don't trust myself to freestyle my own sauce. There are some cross-contamination concerns as well, since there'd be about 4 tongs at foot/pants level, but at least 9 food options (e.g., noodles, dumplings, veggies) to choose from. Not sure if other people share the same sentiment, but I guess they all get boiled in the end anyway. Overall, it's a decent option if you're in Downtown Houston! But I wouldn't call Happy Lamb my go-to spot.

Since we were in the area that day, we made a point to stop at this Wrap & Roll location to make sure it was not a fluke. And by golly, it was exactly what we hoped for! First, the portion sizes are huge as each noodle dish can feed 2-3 people. So unless you brought your appetite, you'll be needing a togo container. Main reason it's so large is because it's packed with protein. Second, the menu has a variety of items ranging from tacos/quesadillas to sandwiches, to noodles/rice, to chicken wings; so there's something for everyone here. And third, the flavors/taste of the eats. The combination fried udon is packed with shrimp/chicken/filet and all the meats are tender along with the noodles and veggies with this sweet/sour/spicy flavor that will knock out your taste buds. From what I read, all the noodle/rice dishes are similar to this. I also saw someone get the quesadilla which was huge and they immediately went silent when eating it cause they couldn't stop stuffing it in their mouth. There's no doubt I plan to return and I hope they expand closer to our neck of the woods in the Heights area. That's a wrap cause they're on a roll!

The food overall was flavorful and fresh. The noodles were cooked well and had a nice balance of sauce without being too heavy. The sweet & sour pork had that classic crispy texture with a bold sauce. The crab cheese puffs were decent crispy on the outside and creamy inside but I do wish they had a little more crab flavor to really elevate them. One small detail I loved: the to-go bags. They were sturdy, well-designed, and matched the restaurant's aesthetic definitely gives that extra polished touch. Overall: Great service, solid food, and good value. So I'm glad this one in Pearland opened up fairly recently and we got to go here with good friends! The place was bustling on a Monday night with several diners coming in and out and various takeout orders being made. We skipped the dumplings and went straight for the plates. We ordered the Dry Fried Spicy Popcorn Chicken, Mabo Tofu, Ground Pork with Bean Sauce Dry Noodles, and the Mix Flavor Eggplant. The Dry Fried Spicy Popcorn Chicken came out as a huge portion - this is a must-do anytime we get Szechuan food. The chicken was crispy and the side of rice was served on the plate. The Mabo (Mapo? never seen it spelled that way) Tofu was flavorful. It had a good spice to it and was big enough to share. The Ground Pork with Bean Sauce noodles was tasty - the pork paired well with the bean sauce and the dish was topped with sliced cucumbers and peanuts, which made me connect this as a sibling dan dan noodles. The mix flavor eggplant as seasoned really well and was a nice veggie to balance out the other meats we ordered. I expected this to just be a stir fry dish of sauced eggplant, but to my surprise, it was served on top of their signature handmade noodles. Service was friendly and efficient. Our food started coming out within 5 minutes of ordering and the servers kept our waters filled. The only disappointment here was that we asked for scissors to cut the long hand-pulled noodles; they gave us a knife because they didn't have any clean scissors. NOT THE SAME. We hinted that if a pair of scissors happened to get cleaned, we'd love to get it, but we never did unfortunately. So we struggled and played spaghetti with our noods, not necessarily a bad thing. Towards the end of our meal, there were still a few tables dining in, and our table stayed to chat a bit. The staff had no problem with this and even still refilled our waters after we checked out. We had a great experience at the Pearland Noodle Master and will definitely return again soon.

On my most recent visit we ordered mapo tofu with pork intestines off the specials menu - a hybrid of two of my favorite Sichuan-style dishes. The blend of bouncy, savory morsels amidst tender, saucy tofu was at once revolutionary and so obvious; why hadn't I yet seen this at any other restaurant? And sure, innards may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's important for you to know that none of my past orders from the 50+ item menu have ever failed me, whether enjoyed in the restaurant or at home. Maybe you'd prefer the aromatic, classic, perfectly balanced three-cup chicken? Or the sweet-skinned duck, glazed so delicately that specks of sugar crystal threaten to jump off onto the plate as you pick up a juicy slice with your chopsticks? And if you're vegetarian, might you consider the punchy garlic eggplant or the wok-kissed string beans? I could go on. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself, though I'd recommend parallel parking on the neighborhood streets behind the restaurant rather than the rocky parking lot, to save you some trouble. Bring friends and chow down family style - you'll need help covering as much of the menu as you can, but you'll definitely have to come back to try everything.
