I dont know how this place isn't a full 5 start. This ramen is phenomenal. Seating was comfy. The decor was nice. The service was great! The servers were very nice and informative when I asked questions. I started with the pork gyozas. They were juicy and the sauce was nice. I got the tonkotsu ramen with chicken and tofu. Got level 2 spicy. Could have done 3 or 4 spicy. The broth was sooo flavorful and rich! The chicken was grilled and seasoned to perfection. I love that it wasn't just a boiled chicken breast. Extremely disappointing. Very very bland. My pork ramen tasted fishy but bland. There was no fish in my ramen and fishy flavor was overwhelming. We had dinner here around 6:30 on a Sunday and the place was pretty packed. We started out with some Takoyaki, and ordered their Classic Tonkatsu ramen and Spicy Miso ramen, both with pork. The Takoyaki came out hot and was delicious! The Classic Tonkatsu ramen had a very good broth, savory pork slices, soft boiled egg, and the ramen had just the right amount of firmness to it. Delicious indeed. The Spicy Miso ramen had a good kick to it. It had the same deliciousness as the Classic Tonkatsu ramen, but spicy. The restaurant has a good amount of seats & tables, and they also have bar seating. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Overall a great experience. The Spicy chicken ramen soup was good...I ordered mild spicy but it was pretty spicy that made my nose run.... the chicken and toppings were delicious and I enjoyed the freshness of the soup. I really enjoyed the pork short rib ramen here! I didn't have high expectations at first since ramen didn't really seem like a staple in this area but I was pleasantly surprised! The broth was definitely rich in umami flavor and it was perfect for the cold weather. Loved that I could have my favorite toppings as well- bean sprouts and ajitama egg. My fiance got the black truffle garlic ramen which was also really good but he liked mine better haha. Also love the play on the restaurant name! Classic Tonkotsu ramen - very flavorful broth that wasn't too oily at all with great mix of veggies and nicely prepared egg! Drinks - premium cold sake and Kirin First Press malt washed it all down. Dined 12/26/25 This place is SO GOOD and I'd love to gatekeep it but that's rude. The staff is friendly every time I'm there and it adds to a great experience. Usually bustling with people, especially when it's raining. The ramen broth is so good and rich and a pretty good amount of protein is given!! Most places in LA give like 2 pork slices but here I think I got like 3 or 4. The spicy garlic edamame is an unexpected new favorite. We got crab-cream cheese croquets which were mostly cream cheese but pretty darn tasty. They had 2 major errors that happen to be my pet peeves. We each had a beer and they were not cold. When I pointed this out too the server he brought a chilled glass, but only one. So really, that's an error and a half. Everything is super flavorful (anything spicy is NOT an exaggeration so be forewarned) and has decent portion sizes. OBSESSED with the fresh garlicky cucumber salad; have gotten it every time we come. Service has been hit and miss. Once while here, I'm sure our server forgot to put in our order because we had to wait nearly an hour but saw several people who sat/order after us receive their food. A couple of times the pork has been a little on the chewy side rather than tender. The side noodle price is a little outrageous($4.50) and the most expensive I've ever seen at a ramen house. A hidden gem in Simi, this is legit ramen and the service is great. Both their regular and veggie broth is good.

The drive to Sawtelle or Gardena has shrunk or diminished because of this new spot located in Simi Valley. The dishes we ordered were spectacular! It's full of flavor and savory! I could taste the quality of ingredients. Normally, it takes preparation to get to this quality. To know they're open before noon was mind boggling! The chicken karaage was insanely good! The dip that comes with it elevates it to another level. It was fire! Their ramen was also the star! Their broth has a good balance of flavor and fat. It was velvety smooth. Their shrimp tempura roll was also a welcome to our table. It looked great and tasted fresh and it was delicious. The tempura inside was crunchy and the shrimp has a nice girth. We are pleasantly surprised to find such an Asian gem in Simi. It really felt like a ramen shop you'd find in Gardena or San Gabriel Valley. Food: Very tasty menu, lots to choose from and they servings are quite large. The chicken katsu rice meal was very large, but fried well and the vegetables complement it well. The ramen we selected were tasty, hot, and filling. I loved the pork and think it's the best in the 805. It has a nice texture on the outside that you don't get with other ramen shops pork slices. And I loved their sweet tea. Very odd to have an Asian restaurant serve quality sweet tea, but it's a win for me. My only ding here would be no offering of kid's menu or portions. Service: Very friendly and attentive staff. We came in around 7pm on a weeknight and it was packed. But we were lucky to get seated quickly. Our food came out quickly and the staff checked on us regularly. Ambiance: Despite it being a small restaurant, the decor and energy felt traditional in a sense to how a ramen shop would be in L.A. on a busy evening. You are going to be seated near other customers and may have to share a large table with strangers. But the food is good and service is welcoming and quick. You will get seated before you know it. Is normally leave a longer review but don't have it in me. It's simple for me when it comes to ramen -- it's all about the broth. And this place doesnt do it right IMO. I don't taste broth that has been cooked down from chicken feet / bones / pork fat... with proper flavor that can only come from slow cooking for hours. So.... Great Food! Amazing spicy beef ramen served here, amazing appetizers, everything was top shelf. Iced tea was wonderful, cold and very refreshing. Recommended this place to my son's friends and they loved it as well. Been here twice, second visit tried the Sukiyaki Beef Rice Bowl, that was amazing and we will definitely return. It's going to be a mission to try most of their menu over time, so far everything has been wonderful. We have never encountered a Server with such an "up" personality and she was hilarious too. There's quite a selection of Ramen to choose from and we decided to try the Classic Tonkatsu Ramen and it was delicious, you have your choice of pork, chicken or beef for your protein.
