Am I getting too old? The ambiance has changed since my last visit. They took out the open book case separating half the cafe so it wasn't just open space. The long table was there and same with the bench seat against the wall but it just doesn't seem as cozy and cool as before. They moved the rack for used dishes by the door. The menu board is very white. It's a place you go with someone you're familiar with not someone you want to date or impress.

He's always rude to me as a customer, and the employees look stressed when he's present / aren't friendly like usual. One time I forgot the restroom code and threw out my receipt already (same code is always printed on the bottom). I asked one of the baristas for the code, and the owner swooped over and scolded me for losing my receipt. He then told the barista that she can't give me the code unless she checks the transaction history on their computer to verify that I was a customer. Never mind that my boyfriend and I were dining in and clearly had food and coffee at the table that I just walked away from, or that the barista just gave us our order minutes prior- such a weird way to treat your regular customers. It's embarrassing that I kept going back after that. I like how their coffee tastes though, and especially that I order for here and get it in a "big mug." It's literally the only reason I pick this place over other coffee shops. Today I received my overpriced coffee (~$9 each!) in cheap paper cups and mentioned that I ordered for here. The owner immediately lied and said the mugs were only for regular sized coffees, not large size. I was literally here yesterday drinking a large coffee from a mug. He could have just said the mugs were dirty, or the dishwasher was broken. He said that after I pointed out the lie, ha. I would have still given 2/5 stars because the food and coffee are REALLY good despite how unpleasant the owner is, but they also recently changed their menu photos to AI slop. 0/5 if I could.

I went on a Thursday between 2-4 p.m. and really enjoyed the space…read more Ambiance: The space is beautiful and bright, with large windows and high ceilings. It was very quiet during my visit, and conversations were kept to a minimum, which made it easy to concentrate. Even though it's located right across from a Caltrain station, I couldn't hear the trains at all. Parking & Accessibility: Parking was a breeze for me. I parked in the garage in one of the guest-reserved spots, and there's also street parking available. Since it's directly across from a Caltrain station, it's also easily accessible by public transportation. Seating: The café is connected to a leasing office, so be mindful of where you sit. The leasing agents do monitor the area and make sure café customers stay within the designated Coffeebar seating area. Drinks & Service: I ordered a loose-leaf tea and asked for it iced. The staff was warm and friendly, and as they handed me my drink, they said, "I hope you enjoy the tea." I really appreciate little details like that--it made the service feel more thoughtful and welcoming. Overall, I would definitely come back, especially when I need a quiet space to focus and get some deep work done.

Pros - nice and clean restroom, gives it an upscale vibe - They are nice enough to give you free refills when you have your own cup - Cal-train station is nearby WiFi SSID: "@Coffeebar Guest WiFi"

Came in around 11am and it was busy. We actually just visited the Santa Clara area, which is my go…read moreto but decided to visit this one because on photos it looks like more seating. I was right, able to get indoor table with my friend easier. I'm used to the friendly vibe at Santa Clara, but this place has overall good service! Parking is bigger here overall. Ordered my usual Tokyo Matcha, I didn't adjust the sweetness. I believe I get more floral flavor from the Santa Clara location. Decided to get their matcha powder to try at home. I'm invested to visit the other locations!

What I love: - They always innovate on their specialty lattes, they have new flavors that change with the season, but they also keep their original menu intact as well. Pretty much anything you get is solid in taste. Their lattes always have that slightly malted vanilla note which I prefer. Today I tried their new Savannah Mint & Bourbon latte which was quite refreshing. Would recommend getting it light-sweet, it would be overly sweet if you didn't in my opinion. Also the barista recommended to get it iced which was a good call. - Plenty of seating. The place seems small, but somehow they have a lot of seating between the indoor and outdoor spaces What could be improved: - The WiFi is always spotty at this location. I've been forced to use my hotspot multiple times - Their food offering is pretty basic and the pastries aren't amazing either. Would be nice to see them have more options either made in house or from a better bakery. The bakery they use currently is pretty mid. What can't be improved, but kind of sucks (LOL): - The parking lot is a nightmare! It's always full and whoever designed it was not very smart (to put it politely). It is so congested and in some parts there is no way 2 cars can pass, let alone back out of the parking spot itself! The coffee shop is too popular for this parking lot basically.

Wisely, I checked Yelp reviews first because some deals can be too good to be true. It's hidden gem off El Camino and near Lawrence Expressway where those that know good Korean baking have this spot on their short list of preferred places. I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled pick up time and Korean grandma behind the counter was super pro, teaching me how to confirm check in and gave me a mixed bag of baked goods with/without fillings. If you like surprises, are omnivore & no special diets or food allergies, Too Good To Go is the way to explore. The items were in generic packaging without labels, so take a pic of the items you like so can order when visit next time. While my family enjoyed all the items, I really enjoyed the black sesame studded puffy rolls that I think were made with rice flour. There was a large group of older Asian ladies, including one who brought their lap dog, enjoying good conversations in their native language with their baked goods and tea or coffee. Another gentleman was taking a video call to help decide the best cake to buy. Will add this bake shop for a place to have a coffee meeting and to favorite in Too Good To Go.

It was near 5pm. I walked in and the place was empty. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me. I asked for a strawberry smoothie, then walked around to survey all the baked goods. It's a small bakery with lots of trays of individually packaged cakes and pastries. The smell was very pleasant and comforting. Using a flat basket (or tray) I grabbed a few selections. I picked 2 "Heart Pies" that resembled my favorite French Butterfly Cookies. Also 2 pound cakes. The total rang up to just over $21. There's some small tables for enjoying your purchases there, but I took my items to go. The icy cold fruit smoothie was very good and very cold! Not too sweet, it had a natural strawberry taste. The Heart Pies were good and fresh. But the Pound Cakes were probably "day old." I noticed there's no dates or "best by" tags on the packages. It's a nice place to visit, and I will return again. Free parking in plaza lot.
