A nice place to get Boba in Baton Rouge. I got the Ube milk tea with tapioca pearls. The drink was good at 30% sweetness. One thing that stood out to me was the very strong ube which not many places do it seems. It didn't have a strong tea taste to it, but nevertheless, it was good.
Delicious Korean hotdogs, boba, mochinut and soft serve. Great atmosphere to study or hangout. Friendly & helpful staff! The Korean hotdogs are served fresh and hot. There's a sauce bar in the back you can use to add to your hotdogs. The ube soft serve ice cream is soooo good. Actually the best I've had in a hot minute. It's rich, creamy, and doesn't melt within 5 minutes!!! The ube flavor is phenomenal and I highly recommend y'all ask for a sample to try it. This place is nice to meet up with friends/family. There are plenty of outlets EVERYWHERE to charge your devices if you plan on studying here. Such a nice feature to work/study.
Been coming here for a couple years now. As an avid green tea lover, I thoroughly enjoy their Rose Green Tea! Momo introduced me to cheese foam, and I've been hooked since. It's a great sweet-salty topping to any drink! Today I got their Twix Mochinut alongside my Rose Green Tea with Cheese Foam. A great place to checkout when you have time.
This was so yummy on a Saturday evening. I took my nieces inside for a special treat. We tried all of them with Hot Cheeto and Potato being our absolute favorites. They have dipping sauces as well. The Churro donut was our favorite too! Clean on the inside, they even had games for you to play as you wait for your food.
i literally love going here & have been coming here for years! they have never disappointed me. always worth the money even if I can't afford coming here 24/7 lol. what i got was: - Korean fried chicken (sold on Thursdays), soy garlic flavor. really good with their spicy mayo / sweet chili (?) sauce that they have! but their Korean corndogs are perfect too! - Soft Serve Delight (ube icecream, oreo tiramisu mochinut) they give you soo much icecream. was able to share it. the ube icecream isn't very sweet (in the most perfect way!) and isn't overpowering with flavor, but just the perfect balance! do kinda wish it was a bit stronger but i lovedd it. - oreo tiramisu mochinut, limited flavor but really good, nice coffee flavor, the mochinut itself has an amaziing texture and isn't too sweet or bland! i could genuinely eat 10 of these lol, i love all the flavors and would recommend getting it overall a 10/10 :) don't get their drinks often, but i can tell you that the food never disappoints! try the rose tea or cheese foam (trust me.. it's good.)
I believe this is the second place in Baton Rouge to have Korean corn dogs, so didn't waste anytime in checking it out. The corn dogs were tasty! There's a few condiments you can add too. They are also the first place to have mochi donuts in the city. They were yummy, I had the cookies and cream and thoroughly enjoyed it. The strawberry does have a strong artificial strawberry flavor, so if that's something you aren't a fan of, just making you aware! The drinks were okay, no complaints but also nothing that stands out amongst other tea places. Maybe I just picked the wrong one... I definitely would recommend Momo. Their menu has very unique items in the city, they're reasonably priced and tasty. The cafe itself has such a cute environment and they provide games for people to play while they eat and sip (and a good study spot).
Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get some studying done with a boba drink at hand and was happy with my visit! I got a large oolong milk tea with boba (~$6). After you order, they will call out your number/order at the pick up counter when it's ready. My drink was great -- only thing is that I wasn't super impressed with the "large" size and overall, a tad pricey. (Tip: a few drinks already come with boba included; the rest you'll have to pay the extra topping cost!) There is free WiFi and tons of available outlets everywhere for you to plug into, which made it perfect for me to spend a few hours here. There are also some table games (Jenga, Connect 4, Settlers of Catan). If you plan on studying/working here, it can get a bit noisy with the overhead pop music playing and occasional rush of customers. For me personally, it also felt a bit nostalgic and reminiscent of home as the owners/managers would chat in Chinese during lulls. A welcome find in Baton Rouge!
This place is more than just a trendy gimmick. I'd venture to say it's quite the opposite. While Momo is AHEAD OF THE TRENDS in every way possible, they also deliver excellent food, treats, tea, and coffee. Every time I come in here they have the best music playing, the service is above my usual expectations, it's CLEAN!! They are fast, friendly, and know exactly what they are doing. They also recently started selling soft serve, which I tried for the first time today, and I have to say - it's as creamy as gelato! Just when you think this place can't get better, it continuously does. It's family friendly but also great for a date, or even to sit and get some laptop work done. They have outlets for charging by nearly every table. My daughter begs to come here literally once a week. I'm serious. My favorite recommendations are the Iced Coffee with Brûlée foam , the churro mochi donut, the pistachio mochi donut, and their matcha soft serve, but you honestly can't go wrong with anything here. They also have boba! Needless to say, Momo tea deserves 5 stars every time.
Momo still remains my favorite milk tea shop in Baton Rouge! It's the most consistent spot that uses real milk instead of the creamer powder that other places use. They're the most consistent and I never leave with a delicious drink or hot Cheeto corn dog that I don't love! Their tapioca is always fresh and on point and they care about the quality of their drinks, making them correctly every time. Unlike the other milk tea shops, Momo is probably the only one that actually has music playing inside and I love their playlists. They offer buy one, get one drink 50% off on Mondays and student discounts :) it's a great place to get a midday pick me up and just hang out and play board games. Momo has come such a long way since they opened. They've expanded their menu from not only serving refreshing beverages, but now serve mochi donuts, Korean corn dogs (including all mozzarella vegetarian options), ice cream, and more :)
Great atmosphere has games to sit down with kids or adults. Very clean. The rice dogs were amazing melted cheese and tasty wiener with a crunch around it how can you go wrong. The extra kick of the hot Cheetos was a bonus. The mochi donuts are a great dessert for me not too sweet but flavorful. Soft and pillowy just delicious
Notes: 1) been here multiple times 2) good parking Pros: 1) great service 2) good food Cons: 1) personally: not a fan of the cheese foam 2) not enough seats I have no complaints about this place. The food is good. The drinks are good. The service is excellent. The place is nice and a pretty fun place to hangout. I think the biggest issue that I find is that there are not a lot of seats here. There are a few tables like 4 and they are kinda small. I would say that if the space could be increased then this place would have it all. In my personal opinion, I would say that the cheese foam saltiness detracts from the drinks but I have many friends that like the cheese foam. Thus, I would say that I am in the minority on this one. Therefore, I won't be taking any points off for it.
The creme brulee tea was very delicious! I was shocked by the monster sized potato corn dog. I like the texture of the donuts, my only problem is the lack of toppings when I order online. We can't pick which flavor we receive. Oftentimes I've received a plain donut and funnel cake donut, I haven't received a donut with icing yet. I'm sure those are delicious though!
It was busy!!! As a lover of all kinds of donuts, I was excited to try the Vietnamese donuts I had heard so much about. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint! What I love about these donuts was their unique texture. They're crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a slight chewiness that sets them apart from traditional American-style donuts. This texture is a combination of frying and baking, and it's absolutely addictive. But the real star of the show here is the flavor. These donuts come in a variety of flavors, from smores, funnel cake, birthday cake and Ube to name a few. My personal favorite was the Ube, which had a rich, creamy topping that perfectly complemented the crispy exterior. Overall, I would highly recommend trying these Vietnamese donuts if you have the chance. They're a unique and delicious twist on a classic treat, and they're sure to satisfy even the most discerning donut lover. I have not tried the Boba, yet....

Momo Tea is one of my favorite boba places in the area at the moment. Workers are always polite, friendly and willing to help you. The drinks are a hit or miss in my opinion and the cheese foam is really an acquired taste. However, their bubble waffle is delicious!! Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. They also have ice cream flavors such as black sesame, red bean and green tea (along with other popular flavors). Even their game selection is great! And it is always consistently very clean, including the bathroom. Overall, Momo Tea is great. read more
This place is pretty cool, I came here to study and the atmosphere was perfect. There's modern art on the walls of statuesque rock climbing, subtle greenery here and there and makes you feel productive. I tried the Japanese cheese foam for the first time and I wasn't the biggest fan but I'm putting that to the new taste of cheese foam. They did let us try a sample of the grapefruit smoothie and that was the best smoothie I've ever had so I'm definitely going to get that next time. There's also waffles for bakery lovers read more

I love the atmosphere here. So cute. The lady working the counter was super friendly and ready with the recommendations, including their specialty- the cheese foam. I was apprehensive to try it, but I actually really liked it once I got over the fact that it was cream cheese based. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fancy tea experience with a twist. read more
I literally drove 2 hours to try out this place but the experience wasn't worth the drive at all. The staff seemed to be quite rude and unprofessional. I ordered through phone to pickup and the staff only gave one word answer. She didn't even let me finish my sentence, rushed, and hung up before I got a chance to complete my full order. Got to call back one more time to order 3 drinks. Their drinks weren't too bad but i've been to better place. Regular boba was out so I had crystal boba. The texture was super weird and trust me, I had crystal boba my entire life so I know how it should be like read more
In the span of a little over a year, Baton Rouge has exploded with boba tea places. If only the Asian cuisine would also follow! Vivi, KFT, teatery, do we need boba franchise? Well apparently I think we do. Momo isn't your typical boba place. These specialize and focus on their "cheese foams". I personally did not try it, nor do I want to. Yes, close minded but cheese and a drink just don't mesh well in my mind. Instead, I opted for the Lime Passionfruit Seasons Tea. It's a delicious blend of tea over ice, and is even served with a few of the passionfruit seeds - to my surprise. The cups they use are thicker plastic - i plan on washing and re-using. Overall, my drink was delicious. Do I justify the price of $5.25? Idk. Maybe. I wanted boba but couldn't get myself to pay the extra $1 it cost for boba! No 50 cents, $1!!! They're aren't many, if any drinks on the menu that are less than $5. I'm not sure if it's because of location or not. But it's kind of pricey. If I'm in the area I wouldn't be opposed to stopping by. But I'm not sure if I'd trek out here just for one of their teas. I will admit - if you're a fan of the cheese foams - you'll be ecstatic to know MOMO's all about it! read more

My first time visiting and it's got an amazing modern atmosphere to lounge on any day. Today I tried the Strawberry Cheese Foam first. My friend got the match cheese foam and with both drinks, the flavors are a great complement to the cream cheese! Who would have thought cream cheese could add a burst of flavor like that?! I was some what disappointed when I drank all my drink. I love their cup too! It's a hard plastic! Not the flimsy one! New reusable cup for me! After I finished the strawberry cheese foam and proceeded to purchase the super fruit tea and the classic milk tea with boba. Personally for me the classic milk tea is very tea heavy. Heavier than other locations around town. BUT the super fruit tea is really refreshing. It's got fresh watermelon slices, strawberries, and lime slices in it! I found the more tea I drank, the more of the fruit flavoring I would taste. Would definitely come back and try more. Very intrigued with the boba with cheese foam dessert but I think I'll wait to try that another day. read more
The newest tea place in Baton Rouge! Woohoo!!! The options are getting endless and little ole BR is blowing up. This particular tea spot main focus is cheese foam, a new trend in the tea world that involves a foamy layer of milk and cream cheese on top of a cold tea. JAPANESE TEA QUEEN (w/ cheese foam): My drink of choice. I love green tea anything, which was then base of this drink, cheese foam being the topping. I was recommended to tilt the cup back further when taking a sip in order to get both cheese foam and tea together. I wasn't too much of a fan of the amount of cheese foam, it overall not too bad of a drink. And even though I had the normal sugar amount, it wasn't overly sweet. BRÛLÉE MILK TEA (w/ boba): My boyfriends drink. I took a sip and loved it. Just like creamer brûlée. Something I shockingly haven't actually had before. GRAPEFRUIT SMOOTHIE: they were giving out samples of this refreshing tea and obviously I couldn't pass it up. Honestly I prefer regular boba-style and can do without the cheese foam in future, BUT I won't say I didn't enjoy it! Can't wait to try more! read more

Got the brûlée milk tea. It's soooo good. Sweet and creamy goodness into one drink. I'm not sure if it is suppose to come with tapioca Pearls, but she didn't charge me for them :). The place is super cute and modern. They have games. The employee was super nice and welcoming. Walking me through the menu and even gave recommendations. Only complaint is that the portions are small and the prices are on the expensive side. read more

Tastemaker Review: Amaya: "I got the brown sugar boba milk tea and was a little disappointed. When it came out I was very excited to try it because it looked so pretty. After mixing it, the tea kind of lost its flavor. The first sip was amazing but after that, it felt like I was just drinking a cup of milk. If I went back, I would try something that had a stronger flavor. The atmosphere however was not as comfortable as I was hoping. Everything about Momo is aesthetically amazing but it seems too staged. I missed that warm feeling I got from previous teashops I've visited." Delanie: "I got the brûlée tea from momo. It wasn't my favorite. It needed to be sweeter than what it was. I saw it had great reviews and was a popular item, so I thought I'd try it. I most likely would get something a little lighter if I went back. The atmosphere was great though. I might go give it another try to see if i just had a bad batch!" read more

I really like their cheese foam teas! Other than that the tea is a bit $$, so I go here once in a blue moon as a treat. With COVID, they are only taking orders by phone ahead of time, and they will the drinks out by the front door and you pay there. read more

Momo tea is hands down the best boba tea shop in Baton Rouge. Highly recommend the watermelon cheese foam smoothie. It's my go-to drink after a long week of school and tastes amazing. They also serve bubble waffles with ice cream which are amazing as well. The store has a good seating area and lots of fun board games so it's great place to spend an hour drinking tea and hanging out with friends. read more

Momo Tea's oolong milk tea is my favorite item! The tea flavor is strong and the sweetness is just right for me (I get 50% level). I haven't tried many of their other items because oolong milk tea hasn't failed me yet. But if they can do their milk tea right, their fruit teas must be just as good! I will be back to try more of their menu again! read more

I visited MoMo Tea a few days ago while on my lunch and it did not disappoint. I am a tea lover so I try any new place that opens. This visit I got the Orange Smoothie Tea. It basically tasted like fresh oranges blended in white or green tea. It was very refreshing. I also love the cup that it comes in because it's cute and can be reused. The only thing I would ask is that the caffeine info is available somewhere as I try to stay away from caffeinated beverages and like to know how much each tea has in it. I will probably be visiting again to try the cheese tea! read more
First time but the tea was delicious!! Lots of options, including the popular brown sugar tea :) I got the Oolong Milk Latte with 50% sugar and it was so yummy :) my sister got the cream brûlée milk tea and they actually burn the top with a blowtorch! The ambiance is trendy and they have some cool art as well. They have lots of games available to play including Jenga which we had tons of fun playing! I'll definitely be coming back. read more

This was a great introduction to Boba or Bubble You tea. I had a nice meal and then walked over to bliss in a cup. I started with the black milk tea with boba. The next time I go, I'm going for the Superfruit Tea with Passion Fruit and Grape. This is going to be a bad habit, which is a good thing. FYI: They have a nice variety of smoothies as well. read more

Cute shop, love the look and the little games you can play while you wait. The teas are refreshing, I love the taste of em. Not too sweet, not lacking. Their cups are my fave - so stinking cute and reusable so you can recycle. The staff was ok, didn't stand out to me. Not friendly, not rude. Just bleh. The drinks itself is the reason I'd return. I cannot wait to try more. The prices are on the higher end of the spectrum in comparison to other tea/smoothie places, but nothing that would break the bank. Would recommend to others. read more
Nice brand new place it's a cute place to sit and sip a tea with a friend or alone. The specialty here is cheese foam tea which for people such as myself that have no clue what the heck cheese foam tea is, it's cream cheese in top of the tea you choose so if you tilt your glass at a45 degree angle with no straw you taste everything without the cream cheese but when you add the straw it's supposed to be a smoothie. They also Milk Teas and several other choices but sadly not my favorite which is what I stopped in for. I love the fruit slush ones they are so incredibly cold and refreshing and my personal favorites are passion fruit or green apple but they informed they don't do slushes the closet thing is the fruit smoothie with cheese foam so I ordered it and my flavor was fresh watermelon cheese smoothie well the watermelon juice would be a fantastic frozen slush bubble tea but they don't do that here. The cheese watermelon green tea smoothie was great if you did the 45 degree tilt and got the refreshing watermelon juice but once you stick in the straw and your driving along in your car the whole thing turns into the smoothie that it is lol Then it's nothing more than a $6.50 watermelon milk. Just saying that next time I'll probably go to one of the tea places that do my slush !!!!! Because I love them ! read more
My friend referred Momo to me and I'm so happy she did! I am IN LOVE with the Super Fruit Green Tea. Truth be told, I haven't tried any other drinks yet...but that's simply bc I love this one soooo much! This is such a refreshing and icy cold drink with real fruit slices inside. This is going to be great on a hot summer's day. On top of the tea being amazing, so is the customer service. I am always greeted with smiles and great attitudes. I love Momo Tea! I'm hooked! read more

Pretty good bubble tea place. My favorite tea place is ShareTea, but Momo Tea is a close second. My only complaint would be that the oolong milk tea was super sweet. I'm not sure if you are able to adjust the sugar levels, but this place is still worth a try! read more

I'm currently sitting here right now sipping on my matcha green tea with cheese foam. I wanted to try the bubble waffle with ice cream. I ordered and paid . The staff here are very nice. He came and advised me the waffle machine is burning the waffle. It malfunctioning and not cooking correctly. He apologized and refunded me back money for the waffle and the tea. And told me it on the house. He also apologized for that the waffle machine is issues. Great service , good customer service and delicious drink. I will come back again when I'm in town. Hopefully , I'll get to try the bubble waffle. Also, forget to mention this place is very clean. It has modern ambient and is well designed. read more
