Some of the best, most authentic true wood burning brick oven pizza I have ever had. I wish I could finish one by myself. Pleasant knowledgeable staff that is definitely educated on wines and cheeses and it shows. The platters are amazing. The roasted peppers definitely do not come out of a jar. They taste like they're made in house. The salads are fresh and enormous. The panninis are very good as well. Great experiences there and if you haven't yet been there have great expectations. read more

I love this place. Antipasto, great wine, an energetic vibe and happy people all around - what more could you ask for?

Great selection of wines. We will go back here soon. And, will recommend to our family and friends. Really nice local wine bar. read more

I typically don't write reviews, but due to the manager not owning my issue and not picking up the phone - I'm beyond disappointed with how he handles the customer satisfaction. My friend and I selected Molto Vino to enjoy our Sunday afternoon off from work. Overall the cheese platter and wine was good, but the grilled chicken had a funky scent. The main reason for my complaint is that I left a cash tip for the waitress and used my credit card to split the bill even with my friend. My friend left a tip on her card, as I crossed out the tip and wrote cash. The waitress accepted my cash tip and in error tan my friends tip on my credit card. I called the owner as he said he would look into it and to call him back on Monday. We'll he doesn't seem to answer his phone and said to me that I needed to apologize for being upset. What a bad customer experience. I'm disappointed in the management and wish he honored his commitment of taking care of the extra charge on my credit card. read more

First time here.. very generous meat/cheese board, over 80 wines to choose from, comfortable seating and great hospitality. Michael, our waiter was awesome. Attentive, great recommendations and overall great service. The decor is trendy, barstool seating (definitely not for kids), and very dimly lit. For Suffolk county (don't want the drive to the city) its very "cool". read more

The best date night restaurant on Long Island. It makes me feel like I'm right back in Italy every time I walk in the door. Amazing atmosphere, fantastic drinks, and superior service always. Really a gem. read more

My favorite place to sit, relax and have a glass of wine. I bring a book, or something to draw on and can sit there for hours. The atmosphere is peaceful and comfortable, the staff treats you like family, and the drinks are delicious. The patio in the summer is warm and relaxing, feels like a vacation. Love it here! read more

I've eaten at Molto Vino many times. The food is always delicious and the service is very efficient. Their spicy margaritas are some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended. read more

The recent addition of a backyard patio with seating completes the European vibe. Max has also installed a brick oven for home made pizzas which are amazing. This place just keeps on getting better!!' La dolce vita in Babylon. read more

Molto Cazzate Predictable fare, marketed and way overpriced. Do the math. The burnt pizza is highly recommended for extraordinary depletion of quality and wallet. The atmosphere makes the place but you shouldn't have to use your flashlight app to read the menu unless you don't care about your wallet being pilfered. Please....another hype crap hole. Wow, what a selection! Really? Disingenuous management. Bolto from Molto and save your money. Merda read more

Love the vibe... Excellent choices of meats and wines...Michael is the absolute BEST!

Came here on a Saturday night for a drink and dessert. The crowd is older than I expected, 40's and 50's. Our server was really sweet but seemed like she kept forgetting to come over to us. This place has potential but needs some tweaking, as does every new business. The wine selection is great, and the menu seems pretty good. My experience was altered in a negative way because of the 50-something loud, obnoxious, plastic looking woman screaming and falling all over the place. She was really rude to the other customers trying to enjoy themselves. Not sure if it's for me, being in my early 20's I felt a little out of place. I'll eventually give it another shot. read more

Our go to date night spot...wonderful staff keeps your wine glass full and are very attentive. Try the pizza made in the wood burning oven. Possibly the best pizza I've had. Pastas are delicious as well. We have never had a complaint with anything ordered read more

Nice cozy place! Great for a get together with the girls. The bartender, owner and chef are super nice. Wine selection was great, I was able to taste a few wines until I found one that I wanted to have a full glass of. And the food was delicious. The cheese platter was beautiful. read more

Molto Vino - Perfect! - Wine Bars Near Me - Babylon, New York

This lovely Babylon restaurant is a great place to meet friends after work or for an upscale meal and glass of wine. ***Our server Michael is primo. His knowledge of the menu and his interest in our overall experience made our evening special. We connected with his energy. ***Thank you to Cassandra, too. She is as lovely as she is fun. read more

Got skipped on a reservation for someone who "named dropped" the owner. Told our table was next and then gave to someone as we're waiting at the bar after our reservation time. Goodbye. read more

This is by far the most authentic Italian restaurant you will go to on Long Island! The new female chef has so much passion for what she does, which shines through in every dish! Every dish is made with fresh ingredients and love. Each night, there are new and innovative pasta dishes- it is like taking a tour throughout Italy. I highly recommend dining at Molto Vino if you want a fresh and authentic meal!! read more

I had a death in the family this week. Molto Vino has always been a go to place for Italian comfort food. Went to pick up pasta and asked for spaghetti instead of pappardelle. CHRIS out loudly said "really"? I said yes (my gramma liked spaghetti not pappardelle). He embarrassed me in front of the whole restaurant! I said to my husband that he was so rude and perhaps we should tell Max (a gentlemen). CHRIS came back and said I heard you speaking about how rude I was... Go to Max at the MOLTO VINO IN BABYLON VILLAGE restaurant. He told me to go there and say that to Max himself.. He was postering. Well, I went there. Max was away. It is what it is. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE DEAL WITH CHRIS...You are dollar signs not human beings to him. Way to make someone feel that way after someone died. read more

Came for dinner tonight. Sat down , good start with drinks. Ordered a meat and cheese board, while waiting ordered some paninis and crab cakes. Waited over 45 minutes for the cheese boards. After an hour later our sandwiches never arrived. The outdoor heaters went out. After 2 hours we left without our dinner, the orders were never made it to the kitchen. Went home hungry read more

No good! Uncomfortable stool seating only, dirty sticky tables, no place to put your bag except the dirty floor, dark, cold, 2 hour limit at your table even if you want dessert! Food is so so. They charge a fee for Covid and told us it was a credit card fee before we even told them our form of payment! Decor is tired and dirty! I really have nothing good to say about this place. Will NEVER GO BACK! read more

I write this review as someone who has never written a review for anything, bad or good. However, my experience here was so bad that I needed to make it noted. Coming here on the weekend you would expect to be attended to and served adequately, especially when there was only one other table seated. From churned wine, to the wrong panini coming out, the side salad with the panini having dirt still on the lettuce leaves, to a ginormous black hair coming out on our pizza that also didn't have cheese on it, I'm not sure where to start or how to summarize the disappointment of my experience. We had 3 servers come to help our table who clearly didn't communicate with each other and must of heard a completely different order than what we gave. To boot, when everything did come out wrong and we said we didn't want another pizza, they said they were making another one. We just said no we don't want it literally a minute ago. One would think that after a complete disaster and us being very kind about all of this that they would comp our drinks or something. Nope.... didn't even offer us a drink on the house after they gave us the wrong panini and the wrong pizza with the cooks hair right on top. Such a brutal experience. Such brutal service. Needless to say, this was easily one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. Thanks for proving that your competitor next door is and will continue to be far superior. read more

We visited during the Babylon Fall festival. The owner was outside cooking personnal pizzas so friendly and obviously loves his work and meeting his clientele. But most importantly was Michael, our server! The greatest personality we have met in a while! Food was great but we'll be back to see him, experience the great food and wine and see this fabulous person again and again! Had a great time feeling comfortable in a neighborhood establishment! read more

the food was amazing but very slow service... they also mixed up the bill and tried to charge us for a $60 bottle of wine when we only ordered one glass.... other than that great dinner. outdoor patio was very cute but fair warning wobbly tables also there was a dog by the side entrance to the kitchen...didnt love that read more

Went to Molto Vino this past Saturday with some friends and I am very happy we did. The dining room was busy, as to be expected on a weekend, but the service was spot on! Our server recommended two wine tastings based on what we asked for and both were very good choices. The Large Molto was one of the best looking cheese boards I've seen in awhile. We followed that up with a Margherita pizza and shared some pastas, all of which were delicious! Also realized they have a back patio and will be looking forward to dining outside once the weather is warmer. Good job all around read more

very understaffed, the servers deserved to be paid overtime! i hope they are apart of server unions. very abusive on the owners, shame on them. the food was delicious, however! great chefs and servers. read more

Tiny place but love the brick oven pizza, stinks they don't have dark liquor as a choice to choose from. Great mojitos and margaritas

No wine bar beats Molto Vino in my book! I dine here pretty regularly and I've never, ever had a bad experience. The wait staff is always very kind, patient and efficient, the food is always fresh (the Margherita pizza is amazing), and the drinks are made to perfection. They have such a good cocktail menu and an amazing mixologist. I end up ordering the mojitos almost every time and they really are the best mojitos I've ever ordered! It is a little bit dark inside, but I enjoy the ambiance a lot. All the tables are cozy, candlelit, and aren't on top of one another so you feel like you have your own private little space. I have to mention that when they open up the back in the warmer months it is also really comfortable and fun to sit back there; it enhances the experience a little bit more. I'm pretty sure as long as I keep going to Babylon Village I'll always end up back here - they definitely know how to run a great establishment. read more

Hands down favorite wine bar. One of my favorite things to do with my girlfriend is go to Molto Vino for a glass of wine and to split a cheese plate. Very cozy, super cute, good wines and good service. I come here all the time! read more

The food is delicious, fabulous wine menu, and cocktails are very tasty. The service is downright lousy, and the music leaves much to be desired. For such a beautiful wine bar with so much to offer, the loud music and wrong drinks can ruin your night. Try to come here during the day when it's less crowded to fully enjoy the most of this could be fabulous establishment. read more

The atmosphere is great, the food is fantastic and the staff is always friendly. All that and Michael too!!

Molto Vino is always one of my main go-tos for a wide selection of quality wines and a beautifully and deliciously crafted meat and cheese plate. The atmosphere is elegant, yet comfortable and I enjoy it whether for a late afternoon Happy Hour or a nice ambience-filled evening. read more

They now charge a 4% processing fee for using your credit card. This seems criminal, since they get charged 1-1.5% by the credit card companies (and that's assuming on the very high end). Worst part is they don't tell you and you need to look at your bill closely. Won't ever be going back here again. Plenty of other great spots in Babylon. read more

Molto Vino located in Babylon Village offers a great variety of wines and tapas that tastes amazing. The small wine bar located in the heart of the village offers a good selection of wines that is complimented with great food and attentive service. When you walk in the decor is very niche and cozy, similar to NYC wine bars. If the weather permits they do have a wonderful patio during the summer that you can sit out and enjoy your wine. Besides their wines, they have some great food options on their menu that consists of some tapas, flatbreads, pizza and pasta. Their gnocchi and Margherita pizza is a must try and the eggplant parm is to die for. I've been at Molto Vino countless times and the service is attentive and friendly all the time. They rush no one and they're open late. There are plenty of parking spots in the back and on Main street so no worries. One important note that caught our attention was not only this place is great but its also cheap! So rest easy you won't break the bank here. Molto Vino is good vibes, food and wine all bundled up in one place. read more

Been going here for over a year now. Got engaged here in December. Now they want to start charging consumers a 3.5% charge for using credit/debit card. That's BS. SERIOUSLY. Go to Barrique their wine selection is better and so is their food menu. read more
