The waterfront views are fantastic, but unfortunately the food didn't meet my expectations both times I visited. I'd come back for the scenery before I'd come back for dinner.

The food was delish! Especially the octopus app and the lobster fettuccine! Drinks were good too but the draft beer was warm and was served to us that way by the bartender and server. Not sure why they both didn't realize they were not cold at all. Service was a little slow but not terrible. The views were great! We would go back!

Had a lovely time. We only came for apps and some drinks. We had the ice Tower. I wasn't a fan of the crab or muscles. But the oysters shrimp and lobster were great. The staff is very nice. The ambiance is great and well kept.

Great views abs ambiance. Service is hit or miss. Some of the staff is great and some tend to disappear mid service, leaving you trying to flag down other wait staff or bussers to get something or even just the check. Sunset into dusk/night is best time. You get the full effect of the views. In terms of food. It wasn't bad at all, just nothing that was punch in the face kind of wow. The seafood seems fairly fresh and they make dishes to showcase the seafood. They have a few non-seafood items as well. Drinks look great. I wish the wine list by the glass was more extensive. Had enough options to pair well with food but more on the basic side. Likely would be back for other food items but may just enjoy food and drinks at the bar.

Our group of 4 enjoyed a Friday night at Molo's. Ample parking can be found across the street in a lot at no charge. We were about 15 minutes early for our reservation, but they immediately welcomed us without hesitation and escorted us to our table with a stunning view of the Manhattan skyline. (TIP: Request a seat at the windows) The 2nd floor was closed, however my wife said the view was better upstairs. AMBIENCE: You can't go wrong with floor-to-ceiling windows and the NYC skyline as your backdrop. Tables were spaced well and even with a full dining room, we had great conversation without having to "Scream" at each other. Lighting was perfect as it wasn't too bright or too dim. SERVICE: Very fast, efficient and pleasant. Water glass was never empty. We sat for about 3 hours and never felt rushed or like they wanted us out. FOOD: Authentic Mediterranean experience. The Fried Feta (Photo) tasted like it was straight from Santorini. The Lobster Fettuccine (Photo) was very filling with huge pieces of lobster including both claws. Crabcake was very fresh. VALUE: Some other reviews say that it was overpriced and I can understand the feeling. However for fine dining on a waterfront, the pricing was as expected. Especially for seafood. We would absolutely return to Molo's!

We have not been to Molo's in five years and wanted to sit by the water today. To start entering the restaurant the smell of bad fish in garbage was so strong. We should have left but there were many people on the deck we decided to stay. The service was very nice but the fish was not fresh. I had filet mignon which was good but we were very disappointed. Unfortunately we won't go back. Plus the drinks were hot and small. View is beautiful it's a shame.

I had a fantastic dinner at Molos last night! Definitely sit outside when dining because the patio and view of the NYC skyline is spectacular. There's lots of lights to make the views even more special. The inside is just as beautiful. However, the patio is perfect! I would recommend booking an earlier dinner if you want to eat outside because it does become quite busy. There are so many great appetizer options on the menu. My friend and I tried the fried feta topped with pistachio and drizzled with honey. We also shared pita with eggplant dip. Both options were a big hit. You can't go wrong with fried feta! For dinner, we shared the Dover sole and Spanokorisotto. The Dover sole was marinated in lemon and butter. The potion sizes were decent, so you get your money's worth. The Spanokorisotto was a nice play on Spanokopita and risotto combined. We loved that! We finished our meal with dessert and really enjoyed the Galacktoboureko, which is a vanilla custard pie. The espresso martinis were delightful. If you're in the mood for Greek, check Molos out!

I've been to Molo's a few times over the years. The food is pretty good (although a little overpriced) and you can't beat the beautiful NYC views. They have a great outdoor patio with plenty of seating and a large indoor dining room. My husband and I dined here for dinner a few weeks ago and the service was insanely slow (which was odd because the dinner rush had mostly cleared out). The tuna tartare appetizer and oysters were delicious, and our entrees were fine (I got the Dover sole and he ordered the lamb chops, nothing too memorable). It's a good spot for outdoor dining but not top of our list to return to anytime soon.

Came by on a weekday for dinner without a reservation and was seated right away outside. Waiter was nice though the food and drinks both took quite the minute to come out. Food was good though I will say it's a bit on the pricey side. The lobster pasta was good though did hope for more than four pieces for the price. I will say those molos chips were great. Sea bass was good though there are bones so make sure to chew slow (rookie mistake on my end). The ambiance is the highlight with great views of the city. The outdoor area can be pretty windy though so something to keep in mind.

for the View, 1/2 for the Food -- but Who's Counting When Manhattan is Glowing in Front of You? If you want dinner *with* Manhattan instead of *in* Manhattan, Molos is your spot. It's basically a giant glass box perched right on the Hudson, staring straight at the skyline like it's trying to flirt with it. I swear Icould practically see Times Square blinking back at me. We got there at 6 PM -- perfect timing to watch the sun set behind the city and make you briefly forget about New Jersey traffic and your $10 valet fee (because, of course, there's no parking -- beauty has its price). This was a special "welcome home" dinner for my son, back to Jersey after college and a few years of wandering the states. The mood? Proud dad. The view? Movie set. The crowd? Birthdays, anniversaries, date nights, and at least one guy nervously clutching a ring box (good luck, buddy). Now, the food. Let's just say it's like the skyline: looks great from afar, fine up close, but you're mostly here for the view. The menu calls itself Greek seafood, and sure, there's octopus, branzino, and calamari doing their best impression of Santorini. It's... fine. Not bad, not life-changing -- just "average in a nice way." Cocktails were good -- strong enough to make me forgive a few culinary sins and toast to the incredible setting. Service was polite, professional, and didn't rush us, which I appreciated. Would I go back? Absolutely. Not for the food, but to feel like I own a multimillion-dollar penthouse for the price of dinner and valet. Pro tip: go before sunset, order a drink, and pretend you're in a lifestyle commercial.

SO delicious! The grilled octopus was the best I've EVER had! So tender and melt in your mouth while still having a little grilled crunch to it. Absolute heaven! We all loved every bite of what we ordered. 10 out of 10! Truffle fries were delicious, and do not miss dessert!

We have a reservation for NYE 2023 @ 8:15PM, are children allowed? We are planning on just having a nice dinner and are not planning on staying for a celebration or anything like that.

Is the tzatziki portion that comes with veggie chips reasonable?

Yes enough for two to three people

When is the best time to call? It seems every time I call to modify a reservation no one is picking up, and a late cancel/no show fee will be charged $25/person. Seems oblivious when I can't cancel since no one is picking up and I can't do it online

Hello, Molos Restaurant gets busier in the evening time. Definitely someone will get back to you but the wait times get longer after 6-7 pm. My recommendation for you to get the fastest phone answer is the morning time when the restaurant opens,…

Hi! Is this restaurant kid-friendly? We have a 2yo son and would like to go there for celebrating the anniversary.

Yes Molos is a restaurant that is kids friendly. We love kids and we always welcome them…

I tried make a reservation for me and my husband a week ahead for window seat but unfortunately the answer was no. I could wait two weeks or a month but the receptionist said no. Then who will reserve the seats for the customers by what? Just random?

Molos is a restaurant with great water views from all tables. Window tables are not reserved on line or over the phone, but are giving when quests come in. We will always try our best to accommodate our quests.…

What's the dress code?

Sunday brunch is more casual. But I would dress up for a date. Nice jeans or slacks.

Are there many vegetarian/vegan options available? I see 1 or 2 salads possibly. Not sure if anyone has experience with this at Molos.

Molos restaurant menu is largely based, on seafood but it does offer a couple of vegetarian options.

I ordered a Negroni with Monkey 47, priced at over $30, which was served with multiple ice cubes instead of one large ice cube, affecting the drink's balance and texture. My mother's mocktail arrived full of ice despite our specific request for no ice. The branzino was delicious but overpriced for a half portion. My 12 oz steak (WAGYU NY STRIP 12 oz) priced at $135, was ordered medium but arrived medium-rare and was excessively salty, even after being sent back for additional cooking. While we appreciated the service and ambiance, a restaurant at this price point should demonstrate much greater attention to preparation, presentation, and guests' requests. Overall, a pleasant experience with room for improvement. It was a special evening, as I was celebrating my birthday dinner with my mother who I don't see in a 21 years. I had chosen this restaurant hoping for a memorable dining experience, which made the details I mentioned even more disappointing.

We were here for a private event in the area straight ahead when you walk in. Perfectly spacious, beautiful big bar, plenty of room for passed trays and the buffet. It was a stellar night. Everything we tried might be my new favorite dish. The dips (tzatzi, hummus and whipped aubergine) were incredible. The salad (mostly radish, but I didn't get the exact name) is now something I will try hard to recreate at home, and all of the little bites being passed around were delicious. For drinks, I tried two mocktails, and both I couldn't name, but one was bright green and the other had vanilla. I would come back for these alone. A wonderful night in a beautiful space. I can't wait to plan a night out here.

This is a small restaurant with some outside seating. The music was loud and lively, but I was…read moreeasily able to have a conversation with my tablemate. The service was good. I am always thrilled when a restaurant offers something I've never had before. Firsts for me here included fried olives, pistachio flavored arak, and Yemenite soup dumplings! Those olives were just too easy to eat! The green sauce that came with dumplings was made with fenugreek and cilantro and tasted great with everything. The salmon skewers were perfectly cooked, but there was nothing to cover the hot metal skewers when they were brought to the table. The eggplant was a little spicy. It paired very well with the sauce on the plate (tahini and soy sauce mix) and fried onions. We were too full in the end to try dessert.

Recommendations below in order. In general, stick with the mezzes…read more Recommended: Artichoke, cauliflower Good: Skirt Steak, hummus, desserts Wouldn't recommend: Pappardelle, tahdig, soup dumplings I went to this pretty tasty and dimly lit Levant/Israeli spot a while back with a group. The service was friendly and gave good recommendations to those who wanted them, knowing the menu well as well as allergens. In general, I would recommend the mezze/small plates much more than the entrees. To drink, I had a Matos, with rye, rosemary Aperol, amaro Noveis, and lemon for $18. It was a creative and tasty cocktail with both the Noveis and rosemary adding a unique herbal flavor. Someone else enjoyed a mocktail, the $10 Yarok with cucumber, fresh ginger, and lime. From the mezzes I sampled, the best was the Artichoke for $17, with pistachio labneh, preserved lemon relish, and dukkah. The portion was large, and the artichokes were well-cooked with a soft texture. Otherwise, there was some nuttiness from the labneh and dukkah, and some sourness from the relish. I would recommend it heavily. Also very tasty was the $19 Cauliflower with chermoula, scallion, pickled raisins, and almonds. I much prefer spots that roast cauliflower enough to burn it slightly but not too much, and they did it perfectly here. Otherwise, there was a mild sourness from the chermoula, while the rest of the ingredients added crunch and a bit of sweetness. The Hummus for $17, with green schug, chickpeas, and pita, was good. It was smooth and silky, but I wish the tahina flavor were a bit stronger. I liked the addition of the schug, which added an herbal heat to it. The worst of the mezze and the worst dish overall were the Yemenite Soup Dumplings with beef and hilbeh for $19. This came with four large pieces, with the dumplings more resembling a Georgian khinkali in terms of thickness, which made them very doughy. While the soup was tasty, there wasn't that much of it. I wouldn't recommend this at all. My main dish was the alright $34 Pappardelle with mushrooms, sweet onion tahini, and bread crumbs. The pasta was a bit soft for my liking, and I found it a bit too sweet overall. The mushrooms had some good earthiness, but I wouldn't recommend this much. I also wouldn't recommend the Tahdig Rice, with saffron, pistachio, and barberries. The side is $16 and is listed for two, which is accurate based on size, but the flavor is lacking. The Persian rice side had a mix of textures, with some of it having the trademark crispiness, but there weren't that many toppings. Unless you're getting a dish with a sauce, I wouldn't bother. I tried a bit of the much better Skirt Steak for $38, with adobo dry rub, leek puree, mashwi salad, and potato chip. This dish had a fun presentation, and the skirt steak was perfectly cooked medium rare with a nicely seasoned rub. The chip was a fun concept and added a bit of crunch. In terms of others, someone else enjoyed the $37 Brick Chicken For dessert, some people ordered the Malawah Churros and the Almond Malabi. Both were $14 and were enjoyed. I was pretty full at that point, so I didn't have a bite of the former, while the latter had a pleasant rosewater flavor. They both seemed decent with a good enough portion. If I had the artichoke and steak, I'd probably give this spot a 5. However, it's too inconsistent with a couple of dishes that both the group and I disliked.
