Visited during St. Patty's, not a bad experience! It was definitely busier than usual because of the holiday, and I enjoyed the bustling environment. The service was quite slow, but that was understandable considering how busy they were. The employees seemed overwhelmed and were rushing around. The space itself is lovely - tiny dance floor, outdoor patio, plenty of bar seating, and a big pool table. There were a couple people who refused to leave the pool table and give other customers a chance to play, which was entertaining. The music was definitely vintage, and the dance floor got more and more crowded as the night went on. It was a nice place to spend an evening hanging out with friends.

An Irish Bar serving Indian Food? Hmmm..

Nice place for a large group. Was looking for a mince Irish Bar to watch the game. I don't know...An Irish Bar serving Indian Food just doesn't seem right. And I love Indian food! Stephen's Green was the better choice.

I came here with five other friends to have drinks. I had the ginger beer, it was the Fever Tree brand. Not bad. It wasn't too crowded, we were there around 5pm to 6:15pm. Descent size Irish bar. We did not order food.

A night out in Mountain View wouldn't be complete without a stop at Molly MaGees! If you like Irish/Dive bars, this is fun place to enjoy a night out with 21+ friends. They've got plenty of beers on tap, ample bar seating that wraps around, pool table and a beautiful outdoor seating area. On Wednesdays it's whiskey Wednesday so Jameson shots for only $4.50, that dangerous! Beers were around $7 and Irish car bombs were around $11. Reasonable prices and different type of specials each day. I forgot how much I love playing pool. The table is $1/game, quarters only. Our group ended up staying and playing pool with randoms, playing both 1on1 or doubles. Great way to just have fun and connect with people in friendly, competitive way. If you are looking for no frills, good drinks, nice pours, while out in Castro St, Molly MaGees is the place to check out. Parking: there's a lot on the backside of the restaurant, which you can enter the bar fromS

The service was fast and good. It's a nice Irish pub . Had a nice vibes Restrooms were clean and the seating area was well maintained. The music was good too. Although as the night went on , there were way too many Spanish songs back to back which might not be fun for folks who don't understand Spanish (aka me) Did not try the food options here .

This is a decent spot. There weren't any lines but had a good amount of people and I wanted to check it out. There's a pool table and a small dance floor that gets pretty crowded. The DJ played pretty good music. They specialize in well drinks, beers on tap and shots, and we really never had to wait too long for a bartender to order something.

Quality, no-frills Irish pub in Mountain View. Come here if you're looking for good pours from an extensive list of beers and liquor. If you aren't expecting anything fancy in terms of ambiance, you'll have a great time pulling up a stool here.

2.5 stars: I dislike this dive bar for a number of reasons. The demographic is a bit older; it's not a trendy and hip spot for 20/30 somethings. It's very dark and hard to see anything inside. Their drink Irish collins tastes pretty bad. It has too much gin and it overpowers the whole drink. They don't play music which makes the environment feel awkward. There's two TVs on top of the bar but the volume isn't up high enough to hear what's on it. However, their raspberry kamikaze tastes pretty good and there's a pool table in the back which costs $1 per game. The bartender is very nice and friendly, but I don't think I'd be back.

I kept wanting to go here because I have heard it's fun and I finally went. I didn't realize how big it is inside. I like the ambiance and the bartenders were friendly. Definitely a fun place for a group of friends or girls night.

Atmosphere * I usually come here on a weekday and it's not as busy, quieter which I enjoy. * It's spacious and has several televisions. * They even have a television outside to watch outside. Food * My favorite is the bread pudding and curry fries (ask for extra curry on the side). Service * The staff are friendly and attentive. Events & Happy Hour * They also offer events throughout the week such as trivia night on Monday nights. * They have a happy hour and super happy hour as well. Cleanliness * The bathrooms are clean.

Absolutely outrageous pricing; the worst part is, they originally served us 14 wings instead of the 21 we ordered, and still had the gall to charge us $64 for them. The drink service was also incredibly slow. We waited 15-20 minutes for our first round of two beers. The wings themselves were also subpar; other local places or even Wingstop are miles better. I remarked on wanting to try their Irish pub entrees sometime, but that won't be happening after this visit. Our waitress did comp us two drinks for the service. However, when she brought us the receipt only one was comped, and she only comped the second after we pointed it out.

The interior and decor are definitely characteristic of English influence which is fun. A bit worn in some areas but it has been around for quite sometime so that's expected. There was a prime rib deal for $25 which my two other party members ordered. I tried a piece of the prime rib and it was very good. Super tender and not dry at all. I ordered the fish and chips with a side of curry sauce and it was great. Batter on the fish was so light and crisp while the fish remained flakey and tender. Paired great with the chips, the tangy creamy tartar sauce, a squeeze of lemon and malt vinegar! I had to try the chips with the curry and surprisingly the curry had a bit of a kick! Wish it was a bit thicker in texture but overall a solid dinner. Service was a bit slow as there were only 2 people managing the floor and the place was quite busy. We had ordered some beers for the table but we had nearly finished the meal before they came out so we asked for them to be cancelled and graciously, they gave us the beers on house! So thought the service is not top notch, it shows that their hospitality is great and they do care about their customers. Would definitely come back to try some of the other dishes! Overall 3.5/5!

It's still there and still going strong. There are still few, if any, hipsters, "techies" or skinny jeans there. Thankfully. I did not see anyone using a cell phone or placing a laptop on the bar. Thankfully. It is still "cash only". No credit cards or payment apps are acceptable. Thankfully. Paul and Harvey is the quintessential anti-Silicon Valley bar in the heart of Silicon Valley. Thankfully. The bartender, Julia, the night I was there, was fantastic. She was spot-on when I needed my beer glass refilled. She remembered the brand I was drinking and remembered my name. She made me feel welcomed and appreciated. I will be back soon. Paul and Harvey is one of the few locations and certainly one of the few remaining bars in the area that has not been colonized by the tech industry. Thankfully.

Operating for decades, this narrow vintage spot oozes authentic character with its mirrored beer signs, classic jukebox, pool tables, and antique cash registers. Patrons love the unpretentious vibe, where the drinks are reasonably priced, the pours are honest, and the staff keeps things lively without any modern fuss. You will not find a fancy cocktail list or craft draft beer here, but the ice-cold bottled brews and simple mixed drinks hit the exact right note for a low-key night out. The welcoming, gritty charm makes it a favorite local institution for anyone wanting to play a game of pinball, shoot pool, or swap stories with colorful neighborhood regulars. While the cash-only policy requires a quick stop at an ATM beforehand, the nostalgic atmosphere makes the minor inconvenience completely worth it. If you are looking for a genuine slice of old California dive-bar history in the greater Bay Area, this landmark watering hole delivers a wonderfully retro experience. Thanks
