Broken unclean toilet. Bartenders rude. Drinks are very expensive , in plastic tiny cups. Free water, but cup is 2$???? And they won't refill it. Rediculous. The place is very old. No go.

Have you ever had a terrible experience without even having to go to the place? Won a giveaway tonight (last minute notification) for VIP PASSES, BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE, and TABLE SPACE and this club literally ruins my friends and my night! My friends also wasted money on Uber rides in hopes to enjoy a nice evening out with VIP seating and bottle service, and boy were they wrong. They respond back hours later stating that they only accept the giveaway claims at 7pm ( which they never informed me from the get go) and then they said they'll take back the champagne offer and only give us free cover! Wtf we can get free cover before 10:30 In general and cover is only $10 anyways! Lack of accountability, no empathy, unorganized, and hidden agendas made this giveaway not worth it one single bit. I was messaged at 4:06pm about my winning the giveaway and was essentially given 2 hrs 54 mins to respond and find 5 other people to join me (on a Friday evening, mind you!), and I didn't even know that 7pm was the deadline. I was told for the very first time about the 7pm deadline to claim the win, at 9:30pm (2 hrs AFTER the fact!) This was hands down the most effed up giveaway I've ever been a part of, and I've entered tons of giveaways; this certainly takes the cake for the absolute worst. This giveaway is a reflection of the venue and its staff. For an event space you guys are horrible at following through with promotions, when it really should be the opposite smh. Way to put your best foot forward, Opal!

Visited the place for a friend's birthday party and it was quite fun: good sized club with good music. We had a table and I noticed that the staff kept on checking how many used glasses we have and replacing them without us asking them.  The downside: the floor was sticky all over the club. We got there around 10 pm and from the moment we stepped into the club, our shoes kept on sticking to every square foot of the club: entrance, dance floor, at the table, near the table.  Not sure why, because I've seen staff wash all the slipped spots right away

Nice space for dancing, but unfortunately the cocktails weren't good. There was also no sign or notice at the entrance about what type of event was happening. After paying the entrance fee, we realized it was a special celebration for a national holiday from another country, with music in a language we didn't understand. We didn't feel like it was the right event for us, so we left the club after about an hour.

I luckily won a bottle service for Opal Social Club giveaway on Instagram! I recommend checking their Instagram for events and giveaways that are happening. They have a few deals like the $5 Cazadores shot deals on Fridays and alcoholic boba happy hour from 9-10 PM! Besides Cazadores shots and champagne, I tried the Bootea Me Down SIP Alcoholic Boba (Mango Green Tea + Tequila) and it was pretty good! You can't really taste the alcohol in the drink, but it is very sugary/sweet. I think I would've liked this as a regular mixed drink and take out the boba! The honey boba was chewy, and surprisingly well for it being at a nightclub. My first thought after leaving the club was that the service here is amazing! All the workers were very attentive and made my girl group feel safe! This would be a great spot for those who want to go out but not go into a super crowded club. My only concern about this place is that the bathrooms are pretty nasty. Like "I'll wait to go home and use the restroom" or worse than a gas station nasty. It made me wonder what the cleanliness maintenance is for the nightclub.

Summary: overpriced drinks and bad crowd. Sad to report that this is NOT the same Opal nightclub that I used to remember & used to love. Way different post-pandemic. I understand they are under different management. The crowd is SO young. And drinks are way overpriced! I went on their grand re-opening weekend (last Saturday night) and it was not that much fun. I was disappointed. Music was way too loud & lacked variety. I arrived early before 9:00 pm to avoid the cover charge. The crowd was way too causally dressed. Saw some people even in sweats (what happened to the dress code?) I admit I was more casual than usual that evening (black jeans, black heels, & a cute tank top) -- it was cold. In the past, I would definitely wear a mini dress with high heels or whatever. But back to the review... So I go to the bar to order a shot for my friend & I (we like kamikaze shots because they're more light than say, a tequila shot) and the bartender is like, "we don't make those here." She did not offer to make me something similar- like a lemondrop or something? So I order two vodka cranberrys instead... it was like $17 each! Or maybe $18? - trying to remember my credit card charge. That is way overpriced! After tipping that comes out to almost $20 for a drink? No thanks. I will definitely NOT be returning here.

The last time I went there, I brought some friends and had the unfortunate lesson that DJs are rotated in. So we would not have the Vietnamese DJ. Instead, we had a DJ named Jose Melendez. At the beginning of the night, I requested 90's Hip Hop. He said, "This is 90's Hip Hop." I said, "I've never heard this song before." He said rudely, "That's not my problem." We were the only people on the dance floor for most of the night. The music was terrible and eventually, it became a chore to dance. We were dancing to excercise but spent the night making fun of the music by dancing as terribly as possible. What is the point of DJing if you're only going to play music that empties your dance floor? Hope we never see this DJ again. He was rude his music stunk.

The service was quite slow, but that was understandable considering how busy they were. The employees seemed overwhelmed and were rushing around. The space itself is lovely - tiny dance floor, outdoor patio, plenty of bar seating, and a big pool table. There were a couple people who refused to leave the pool table and give other customers a chance to play, which was entertaining. The music was definitely vintage, and the dance floor got more and more crowded as the night went on. It was a nice place to spend an evening hanging out with friends.

I wish it would've been a little stronger but I get that it's more of a fun cocktail wine that's meant to be light. The food here was insane. We ordered the Margherita flatbread and while it's simple the quality was great and the cheese was super good and had a nice pull. The vibe here is great it feels very safe having mostly had women patrons. St Stephen's Green is an Irish pub that is a Mountain View mainstay and institution. It's been here for a long time, and it's a great place to drink a pint, munch on some food and shoot the breeze with friends. We decided to haul ass down here for the USA vs. Belgium World Cup match. Presently, for World Cup reservations, they have to be made at least 12 hours in advance and are $50/person (which you can redeem for drinks and food on the day of your reservation). We got here fairly early and sat in some free seats near the front entrance. Before long, the place was a zoo, but it didn't matter. The atmosphere and camaraderie were still electric. Despite the atrocity of a loss by team USA, great fun was still had. Their menu, I should note, is extensive with a number of both Irish and non-Irish food and drinks. On my visit, I started with a simple club soda which progressed to a glass of Guinness beer and some Guinness beer cheese pretzels which I split with my friends. The pretzels and the accompanying sauce were delicious. The club soda and Guinness were as good as can be had anywhere. Prices, admittedly, are not the cheapest here though. For two club sodas, two Guinness beers, and one order of the beer cheese pretzels, the total bill (without tip) came to approx. $47-48. Service was good but could have been a little bit more organized. When I was closing my tab, my server ran off just as I began to sign my receipt, and I was unable to get a copy for myself. Not a huge deal I suppose as the pub was awash with patrons on the inside and outside. But I will say this: When I made a few phone calls a day or two before to ask a few questions about reservations and seating, each person I spoke to on the phone was really friendly and answered my questions clearly and with no hesitation or confusion. Some might think that such an experience like that isn't too remarkable, but, in a day and age of picking up the phone and talking to a computer and/or having to deal with poor customer service, this was a breath of fresh air. For those who plan to come for the remaining World Cup matches, if you do NOT have a reservation, be sure to walk around and see if there are any available tables (both inside and outside) that do NOT have a sign saying "reserved." If you're lucky to find one, you can sit there. If the table is indeed reserved, you can't sit there unless the amount of chairs at that table is greater than the amount of people for whom the table is reserved (which is noted on tables that are reserved.) There are a number of free seats up front that are first come, first served (which is where we sat), but they do NOT allow you to save seats for others. So I highly recommend that, if you plan to meet up with others, you arrive TOGETHER and EARLY. They recommended that we arrive at least one hour before the match started, which is great advice and served us well. Overall, if you're looking for a solid Irish pub in the South Bay, I highly recommend Green. SUPPORT LOCAL AND/OR SMALL BUSINESSES. 4 stars
