This restaurant does not care about their customers or providing good service. Stopped on Saturday around 5ish, restaurant is completely empty maybe one table occupied and when we ask for a table we are told that they are not taking any walk ins because they are booked for the evening... genius idea to turn away a table that you guaranteed could have got in and out before your entire empty restaurant filled with guests. This is what you call bad business. Do better. You always leave at least one table available for walk ins, you don't turn away money now for the chance of money in the future. If one of your reservations doesn't show, that's fine maybe you have a fee for no shows, but I guarantee you whatever that no show fee is much less than the 300+ dollars we spent on dinner that evening at a restaurant that was smart enough to not turn away business. read more

What is even going on with the fresh chips! They are a destination! The white fish ceviche was beautifully presented. Fish fresh and salsa perfect spice. The server was kind enough but a little disorganized. Lovely day on El Paseo for a lunch out! read more

I enjoyed the authentic food that was delicious and beautifully presented. Jesus was an amazing server. He was patient in explaining each dish and even brought us samples of the sauces. I recommend Mole Mexican Kitchen, and hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Jesus as your server. read more

Great friendly service. Chicken Mole Enchiladas were delicious. Black beans out of this world. And don't forget a blood orange margarita.

The food at Mole was okay, not great. The cornbread had a good flavor, but it was hard to eat because it was very crumbly, even though it was reportedly fresh that day. Bread should be fresh daily. The guacamole sampler was tasty, but the servings of protein, lump crab, and steak were bite-sized, only two bites each. The snapper was overcooked, and the broth was haphazardly topped with cold, chopped green olives. Again the flavor was on point, but the excution missed the mark. I was especially surprised that the drinks were also not well-balanced and otherwise unremarkable. The atmosphere is lovely, and I really wanted to have a reason to return. While the service was excellent, the prices are steep, and the food and drinks don't hold a candle to comparable fare in close proximity. Los Primos doesn't have the contemporary décor or appreciate as much space as some other restaurants, nor do they offer a full bar. Despite these shortcomings, I would still choose them 10 out of 10 times. It's clean and quite nice. The quality of food is well above par, and the execution of every dish I've tried, from burgers to Benedicts to fish to steak, has been perfect. The family vibe is unbeatable. read more

Delicious food and great and friendly staff! Would come back any time to have enchiladas!

If you ever find yourself in Palm Desert and have a desire for Mexican fine dining, you absolutely must try Mole. The vibes, staff, and cleanliness are superior. We had the pleasure of enjoying our dinner with hostest Jen. She took great care of us and made us feel the family vibe. My wife's 40th Birthday dinner was elegant and satisfying to say the least. Now, THE FOOD, was so tasteful and authentic. You will not be disappointed if you decide to take my advice. We've found a diamond in the rough and will definitely be returning. read more

This place was amazing! The seasoning on the tortilla chips is addictive so be careful. I had chicken tacos with Napa Cabbage Slaw. This was the best Slaw I have ever had. The dressing was very light, but extremely flavorful. It comes on the side and it was a nice compliment to the spiced chicken tacos. Excellent food and impeccable service e! read more

We had a group of 12 to celebrate my 61st trip around the Sun. We arrived on time and our table was waiting with "reserved" table tents. The interior is a revelation compared to the exterior. It is simple and modern, with Mexican artifacts on the walls (I WANT the lighted Talavera) and there are interested lamps and hanging speakers throughout. We were greeted quickly by our server, Brandon. We noticed that the menu is limited but there were interesting items to select. I decided on the Chicken "Mole" Enchiladas (I LOVE Mole) and a Jalapeno Margarita to assist my esophagus, which sounds clinical but is very necessary. The enchiladas were EXACTLY what I was expecting and the cocktail had a demure grade of heat with a hint of spice in the throat. I was very satisfied with my items, as were my wife and children. It was my BDAY but the star of the show was Brandon. He was very attentive and accommodating to all twelve of us, which I am sure can't be easy. The staff assisting Brandon also had their ducks in a row. Everyone in our party came away with positive feedback and we will definitely return. Thanks to all for a seamless evening. read more

I don't think I will be back unless someone else other than me wants to go. The restaurant is decorated very nice and the vibe is good however the food options are limited and pricy but that's to be expected on El Paso. I was very disappointed that they did not really have Mole options. read more

What a wonderful experience. We showed up a little early for happy hour prior to our 4:30 reservation. We had the quac and chips (chips are bomb), had the corn appetizer, the avocado fries, all great. We were a group of 6 and ordered, ceviche, beef enchiladas, fish, beef tacos and skirt steak, every dish had a great unique fresh and delicious taste. Will definitely be back! Service was fast and exterior was warm and welcoming, plenty of seating. read more

Food is exceptional. Service is atrocious. It's like a bad relationship. We keep coming back for the food knowing how bad the service will be. (Insert a crazy relationship story here that you keep going back to.) We've been 15-20 times and absolutely love the food and the cocktails are great. BUT - the service is so bad. Want a refill? Good luck. Want your table cleared? You'll be lucky if you see a busperson your entire meal. Want your check? Haha. We watched the General Manager stand in one place all night. Never helped serve, never engaged with customers, I think he turned up a patio heater once. The food deserves better service. The prices deserve better service. I hope Heinrich Stasiuk -owner - @heinrichstasiuk reads this and cares enough to fix it. read more

I do not write reviews but when I do it's usually when I've had a great experience or a horrible one. In this case, it was a great one. "The food was delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Chicken Mole and their guacamole! I love that the chips are homemade. Hands down, some of the best food I've had recently! They used the freshest ingredients and made sure each dish was made with love. The entire experience was memorable and Must-try! I, kid you not we came home with no leftovers because the mole was that good. I see why they named their restaurant after the signature dish. Each bite was a delight, and the presentation just blew us away. Don't miss out! "From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! Not to mention the amazing selection of margaritas the Pina was my favorite! And my husband raved over the Fruto De Cactus. "If you're a foodie like me, you'll love this place! The ambiance is trendy and upscale. And most importantly it was immaculate and had a A on the window. The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, offering a wide variety of options, and everything we tried blew our socks off. I especially loved the creative twists on classic dishes. It's not your ordinary Mexican restaurant either. Everything was completely elevated and next level and we loved it all. Honestly, I can't wait to come back again!" So yes we highly recommend it and would give it 10 stars if I could. I also want to mention our service was absolutely phenomenal! Matthew took excellent care of us and we could not be happier with the service. He was attentive and friendly and made us feel like valued guests. He went out of his way to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional". He was warm and very professional. He added a personal touch to our evening, and we left feeling thoroughly satisfied because of him. So thank you, so kindly Matthew for going above and beyond we will be back just for you as well. read more

The service was very great! I really loved that they pay attention to small details. Came in on a Sunday night, the atmosphere was chill. Our servers were excellent! Attentiveness was amazing! Just enough! For appetizers, we got the chips guacamole and salsa, salsa was A. We wanted to get the bone marrow corns but they were out, so we got the charred corns, also great! For entrees, we got the skirt steak, and the mole enchilada, both were amazing! Would definitely come back again. read more

Overpriced. Over rated. Chips and salsa were good. Everything is ala carte. Mole was to rich. Tasty. Extremely overpriced

Great restaurant, so we tried them for lunch at the BNP Tennis ... DONT!!!! Their prices are up to x3 the restaurant ... rip off To be clear, and to respond to John M - the food is excellent, but the price increases are substantial ... chips & salsa in restaurant $4, at BNP $12 (that's x3) Ceviche De Camaron: Lime-pickled Mexican Gulf shrimp, lump crab, spicy tomato broth - $28 at BNP, $21 in restaurant (that's +30%) read more

Every time I visit Palm Springs, I make it a point to stop here for margaritas--they're amazing! The food is just as fantastic. As a Jarocha (from Veracruz, Mex), I especially love their "Jarocho Guaca-crab"--it's incredible! Not only is the food delicious, but the presentation is also top-notch. I've tried several dishes, and they never disappoint. The ambiance and lighting create a great atmosphere, and the servers and bartenders are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend! read more

We are following our waiter, Juan. He is here on Monday and at Mitches restaurant on other days. He is the best! We loved the ambiance but parking is not convenient. The Cadillac Margarita is the best I ever had! It was so fresh tasting with a dried orange and lime on top that was tasty too. Also, you will never have better corn bread. It's so light and fluffy. My niece loved her skirt steak with potatoes.. It came with home made tortillas which were also delicious. The mole enchiladas were good but not the best ever . The rice and beans were not great, you can skip these. Definite skip the ceviche because it taste like breakfast orange juice. The best of the three deserts was the flan. It was delicious. We will be back for Juan, the cocktails, the skirt steak, and the corn bread for sure. read more

Honestly I wouldn't recommend this place. The food was not good at all. I had the shrimp quesadillas and it was mostly an oregano dipped quesadilla. It took 40 minutes to get the chips and sauce and another 45 for our dinner. Honestly I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more

Second visit. We arrived early with the plan to order a pre dinner cocktail at the bar. The hostess assured us that was fine. The bar was all seated with people eating dinner and the bartenders ignored us standing behind them. The manager finally came over and said we couldn't stand there. ?????? So you have a bar but people cannot order drinks there? We left for another spot, got a cocktail and returned. The food was pretty good when we finally got it. The spicy green salsa and the guacamole were both flavorful. The sauce for the mole chicken great too. Some entrees arrived with out rice and beans (like my last experience) and I asked for no dairy on my item and was told they could do it. It arrived with dairy. Cute decor just a lot to work out. As a positive our waiter, tall dark haired gentlemen was so pleasant and checked in on us a lot. Food continues to have some promise but lots of kinks to work out still. read more

We were looking for a fun date night dinner after a long day in Joshua Tree and loved Mole! The vibes were great and it was quiet enough to be able to chat and enjoy din together. We didn't have reservations because we were unsure about our timing and were able to walk in on a Wednesday evening around 7:30p without a wait. Our waitress was very friendly and we both enjoyed our margs (jalapeño marg was SPICAYYY but good & guava was lovely). Strongly recommend the street corn which comes with housemade chip medallions with chili lime seasoning, the soup was hearty and very good, and the cornbread comes served in a cast iron and is on the sweeter side but was fun and delish! The churros are a MUST with a hot Carmel center served with vanilla ice cream . read more

If I could above 5 stars I would, and before you close this yelp out, read on for the best enchiladas I personally have ever had and they are custom. Jennie our waitress was superb, I mean it'. She also was the bartender and made me some fantastic old fashioned. Okay on to the root of this amazing dream. Customized enchiladas: and here it goes, garlic buttered sautés shrimp, with rice and jack cheese and spinach inside the enchilada: and then smoky chipotle cream sauce outside. Off menu, bonkers good!! Okay here we go, if you honestly do not like it message me and I'll Zelle you the money back for the enchiladas- that's how good they are! read more

The food and service were very good. I'll definitely go back again. Lots of interesting choices on the menu. I gave it four stars because we asked to eat in courses and instead they brought everything out at the same time. They happily took the entrée back; however, when it returned, it was lukewarm so my guess is they didn't remake it - I'll never know. We didn't complain. We were having a good time so we just ate it. I would definitely go back. Chips and guacamole also excellent. Probably one of the best guacamoles I've had. read more
