Let me start this review by saying you really don't want to ever have to call these guys. That said, accidents happen, like maybe you're fooling around near the side of your house and you gently tap the "inspector's test valve" for your sprinkler system. Suddenly all heck breaks loose and you've now got several walls full of water. After realizing exactly what I had done (the fire alarm helped me understand), I called around all the big name companies that do this sort of water damage repair. The quotes I got were ridiculously HIGH. I decided to go local and gave Moe and his team (read: family) a call. Not only could they fit me into their schedule quickly, but they are also a one stop shop, meaning, when they leave your house, it looks just like it did before you broke your sprinkler pipe. Most of those big name companies require you to get someone else to do the drywall/painting part. All the Mold Safe guys that worked on the job were not only related to each other, they were also great workers and great people. They kept everything clean and showed up when they said they would. They kept me in the loop as to what was being done and explained anything I asked questions about. They dried the walls, cut out and replaced the wet drywall and added the matching orange peel texture when they did the final painting. Color matched, perfect finish. And when Ted was finished fixing the hole in the stucco left by the sprinkler system guy (yeah, it has to be a certified professional who fixes anything to do with your sprinkler system, not just any plumber), he went around my house with the left over spackle and fixed several other stucco dings in my house. Above and beyond. Like I said at the beginning, you really don't want to ever have to call these guys, but if you do find yourself in this sort of a situation, don't risk the mold, just call Moe. COMPANY PAYS TO REMOVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. Not recommended to military families. Poor experience. Company provided clear turnaround time then extended the project without notice. This was due to the company overbooking. When questioned, Moe pointed to a vague fine print in the agreement saying it could take up to 15 days. I mentioned not being able to accommodate an extension due to being pregnant and prepping for a deployment. Stated advance notice would've been appreciated. Moe did not handle things professionally, had a family member text me insults, then threatened to quit knowing it was breach of contract. Moe then said he only wanted to talk to the man of the house, who wasn't remotely involved in hiring or payment. Makes sense there were two other lawsuits with this company now. Rest of his team was great, polite, and hard working. Moe and his communication was the only issue. Edit: Happy to add receipts. Not one single disrespectful comment was made to anyone at your company. You flew off the rails. Chase came by the same day to assess the damage and had an estimate ready the very next day. My garage corner ceiling showed severe mold forming. I suspect it was caused by leaks of 2nd floor bathtub. I called up Moe with Mold Safe Solution and another local company on Monday morning. The inspectors came by on the same day on Monday. I accepted Moe's quote, which was quite competitive. Mike and Ted (with Mold Safe Solution) started the work promptly on Wednesday morning. They were careful and detail-oriented. They carefully sealed off the area before tearing off the drywall and ceiling. Ted immediately knew the leak was due to wax ring of the toilet from the 2nd floor (even though no obvious sign from the upstairs toilet, but Ted is CORRECT, very experienced plumber!). They detected moisture behind the side wall. To replace the drywall, they took down the cabinet that was mounted to the wall. Ted installed wax ring and toilet valve very quickly. The demo phase of the project was completed within 3 hours. To get rid of moisture, they left two blowers on in the plastic sealed area for 2 days. Due to my personal vacation, it was over a week later Moe sent drywall specialist Israel to restore the ceiling and drywall in my garage. Israel was humble and hard-working. His attention to quality was impressive. Mike and Ted responsibly restored the wall-mounted cabinet and painted the wall and ceiling (see picture). Mike, Ted and Israel are experienced and competent in this type of water leak and drywall repair jobs, which I am sure many households may experience from time to time. all jokes about the "pompitous of love" aside, Maurice "Moe" Bedard was my lifeline in a flooding emergency. I was in crisis after an overhead pipe broke and was lining up animals two-by-two. fortunately, the water damage was limited to the garage which has a concrete floor. having recently been down that road with a rental, was really grateful this fix did NOT require replacing five rooms of flooring. Moe got there as soon as the Pipe's Plumbing crew (another 5-star review) stopped the leak and thoroughly de-humidified things (mold was a major concern). after everything dried and Pipe's had replaced the plastic piping with copper, his drywall guys replaced the water damaged ceiling panels, etc. great job. many thanks. ps: Moe's a bit quirky but if you can get past that, he's a lifesaver. read more

I called Moe today right after discovering some mold on the wall next to our fridge, and he was able to squeeze us in just a couple of hours later. After checking it out, he assured us that the mold was dry and could be taken care of with a pet- and pregnancy-safe mold remover, followed by a bit of drywall replacement. I contacted Mold Safe for an inspection and estimate on a leak in a ceiling. Moe came out and conducted the inspection. Since it was caught Early the job was very small. Mold safe gave the best estimate for remediation and clean up. But due to the small size, Moe provided advice to guide me to safely prepare the space, remove the drywall, dry and clean the space. After a bad experience with a mold detection and remediation company, it was a wonderful surprise to meet Moe, owner of Mold Safe Solutions. He came out to the house and using his advanced sensor scanned the area that was causing problems, around it and one floor below. Chase came out later to create to open up the wall where we expected to find the source of the problem. He also build the containment room, vented it to the outside, and brought in fans. Chase was incredibly precise when cutting out the necessary sections of the drywall. It was amazing to see how thoroughly he covered the open areas of the wall with thick plastic, carefully stored the drywall cutouts and cleaned up the area. Within a couple days he and Chase had the room sealed off, the wall open, & dryers & a dehumidifier going, but it would take time for the inside wall to dry. Working with Moe at Mold Safe Solutions was so easy! Once we found out we had mold in our garage due to a leaking water heater, Moe came out to our condo and checked it out. We were really pleased that he was able to come after our work hours. He was very honest and open about the process and how long it would take. We were able to get a quote both on the spot and electronically the next morning. Once we decided to go with MSS, they were able to come out as soon as possible to set up our mold remediation. Moe and Ivan removed the affected areas of drywall and set up fans and dehumidifier in the contained area. A couple days later, Ivan rebuilt our drywall and water heater stand. Luckily the mold was in our garage and didn't affect the rest of our place. MSS pricing was also very fair for the job. We went with them for the pricing and responsiveness to our questions.
