WHAT A BUST THAT TURNED OUT TO BE. They said they couldn't help me, and I was on my own to figure it out. Luckily, through word of mouth, I heard about 911 Recovery. I gave them a call, and they scheduled me for that same evening. Nothing compared to my first experience; they had the equipment needed to detect where the leak was starting from. They shut off the valves needed to stop the leak, without shutting off our whole water system. They gave me a quote that was extremely reasonable compared to the ballpark figure my home warranty company said it would cost me. The following day, they broke through our cement driveway and fixed the busted pipes. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

They took away most of the old appliances (the fridge didn't fit), but they definitely hauled away all of the old cabinets, countertops, flooring, and backsplash.
