I also really appreciated the communication beforehand, including letting me know which employee would be coming to my home. On the day of my appointment, Taro provided an estimated arrival time and arrived right around the timeframe I had requested. He was professional, friendly, and took the time to walk me through the entire process. He listened to my concerns about the mess my dogs had made of our living room carpet and made sure I knew that all of the products being used were safe for my dogs. Taro used an enzyme cleaner to help eliminate the unwanted odors, and I could not be happier with the results! My carpet looks brand new, and there are absolutely no lingering odors. Our search for an honest company led us to West Coast, and we hoped the reviews were true. The good news is, West Coast is as honest as it gets. Askia came out and looked around the attic while I watched from the ladder. First, he showed me that the supposed mildew was some sort of harmless sandy clay-ish material. And the supposed black mold was just "lumber mold", an industry term for "stain fungi"--the common dark streaks in lumber that originate at the sawmill or in the forest, don't weaken the lumber, and are not indications of moisture. Who knew? Well, Askia knew. And he actually spent time convincing me that we didn't need their services. So do I recommend them to you? You betcha! An honest company is a joy to find.

Arturo came to give an assessment of what is going on, what needs to be done, and when they are going to do so. The preparation they did before the work was amazing. I have carpet upstairs and they put plastics on everything so there would be a minimal cleaning in the end. Arturo communicated with me on everything they are working on. After all done, they cleaned everything, they put back my toilet with no issue, the walls are painted and textured. I didn't think that they were cutting any corners or trying to get it all done and get my money and be out. Only small issue I had was the communication about the invoices with their accounting team. I had to call them multiple times to get it updated since I needed the bills split between HOA and me. But in the end they got it all figured out.

But this employee went ahead and posted his own review of his own performance with the company and added employee's names whom I don't even know who they are. Besides that, I have not been able to contact their billing department about some concerns I have about their billing statement and concerns about their sales rep who assured me my flood damage at my house would be covered by my insurance. The sales rep even got on the phone and assisted in opening the insurance claim by getting on the phone with my insurance and not identifying himself as the Mighty Dry Sales rep, which I'm not sure if that's conflict of interest. In my case my insurance denied my claim, now I am left with a huge bill from Might Dry. My emails and my phone calls to their billing department continue to be ignored since 8/25/26.
