I hoped to clear it out within two weeks to avoid keeping the apartment for another month. I live in the midwest and only had limited time to travel. NYC Hoard quickly provided an estimate based on photos I had taken a year earlier. Because of a huge snow storm just days before the project, the dumpster company refused to deliver the night before. So, she pivoted, rented a Uhaul and pulled in an extra crew to be sure the project was completed quickly. In fact, i was able to change my flights and get home a day earlier than planned. Excellent communication throughout the project. The team was great. I met all ten as they were finishing up. They were friendly and professional. THANK YOU NYC HOARD!

Chris came to the house, gave a quick inspection of the foundation of the house and then set the radon test in the basement near the radon pipe. We mailed the test to CM Burrows as we were instructed and he sent it off to the lab. We received a very detailed report letting us know that we were in the safe zone and had nothing to worry about. The test was inexpensive for the peace of mind that we have knowing my family is safe. Definitely worth the money to get the test done.

He was also kind enough to look through a couple of other rooms in my home to see if he could spot any hazardous material as well as give me some suggestions for keeping my toddler safe from lead. I 100% recommend Chris and C.M. Burrows Enterprises!

The technician made sexual comments that was beyond uncomfortable…read more The upholstery cleaning was fine but My encounter with a technician from the upholstery company on September 2020, left me deeply unsettled. Working alone from home during the pandemic, I had recently moved to New York, only to find my couch stained by the moving company. Despite the company's high rating, the technician's behavior was concerning. Initially friendly and professional, the technician's accent made it difficult to understand him clearly. I had a line me chair that also needed to be cleaned but he said it couldn't be. His explanation however shocking as he mentioned that linen could not be professionally cleaned, recounting a personal anecdote of sexual fluids from his girlfriend about his own linen couch stain. Feeling uncomfortable, I made excuses to avoid conversation but he insisted to show me the phone with pictures of his couch. He kept staring at me trying to see my reaction but I quickly excused myself and reached out to a coworker to call me immediately providing a sense of support during the encounter. He was buff and I just prayed for him to finish the job and leave already. Reflecting on the incident, I realized the discomfort it caused me and felt compelled to share my experience. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior, especially when seeking assistance with a service. This encounter with the upholstery company technician was deeply disappointing and has left a lasting impression. He asked to leave the company a 5 star review

I cannot recommend him highly enough. Arsenije is the definition of reliable and extremely trustworthy--he is quite literally the type of person you feel entirely comfortable handing a house key to, knowing he has your absolute best interests at heart. He is incredibly punctual, showing up exactly when he says he will. What sets Arsenije apart is his honesty and attention to detail. If a hurdle came up, he was upfront about it immediately and already had a plan to fix it. His pride of workmanship is unmatched; if something doesn't look perfect, he usually catches and corrects it before you even notice. If I ever pointed anything out, he addressed it instantly without hesitation. Beyond his incredible work ethic, he is charismatic, friendly, and a genuine pleasure to have around the house. While working on one area, he'd casually point out other maintenance items around the house that needed attention--not to upsell me, but out of a sincere care for the integrity of my home. I honestly wish I could hire him to do everything in my house. If you get the chance to work with Arsenije, jump at it!
