A pretty rare experience for any service provider. The actual testing was thorough and easy. From a visual inspection and moisture testing tool to the high-tech inspection tool that sees moisture and heat through walls all the way to the air sampling Tal was efficient and explanatory. He specifically sampled each area that we were concerned about and was done in about 25 minutes. I was told that lab results and analysis could take a few days and we were all set. In only two days I got the official report back and confirmed I understood the analysis with an email exchange with Tal. It was great to learn everything was completely safe and no abnormal mold was present! Overall NYMS was an excellent experience and highly recommended. I went downstairs and there was a lot more than water... There was water, urine, and feces. I was so disappointed, disgusted, and somewhat incensed, so I called ServPro, explained my dilemma, and basically asked them to make everything better. And that is exactly what they did. They sent a team of three men to my house, and they were polite, and efficient, and quick, and everything I was hoping they would be. They left industrial de-humidifiers running for a couple of days after they left, and when I went downstairs 2 days later, my literal "sh!tshow" was remedied. The took away everything that was damaged, they disinfected everything they left behind, and they walked me through how I could go through insurance, if I chose to do it... Which I did... And my insurance company seemed relieved that I used professionals like ServPro to help me with my problem. So here's my point: If you are calling ServPro, chances are you are screwed.
