Joe was incredible. He's not just a home inspector but a licensed professional engineer. For the first part of the inspection, I had him personally meet with the builder. Joe grilled him about everything in regards to the entire construction, foundation, materials, and equipment. His approach was professional and thorough. He then spent another hour testing everything in the apartment. He gave me expected lifespans of everything affecting both the building and our apartment. He also gave us maintenance tips and potential repair costs. At the end, he leaves you with a final inspection report that is more thorough than any I've ever seen. It covers everything. I could not recommend Joe more highly.

We wanted to take out a wall to open up the space and needed an engineer to determine if it was a bearing wall or not. In addition, for the permit and coop board approval, we also needed architectural plans. AVT Engineering provided these services to us, and Joe personally oversaw much of the work. He came to the apartment several times, provided reports and plans, and also provided inspection services for the permit process and letter of completion. He personally called my daughter at several points throughout the project to check in on the progress and make sure we were moving along smoothly and comfortably. More important than the technical services provided, Joe invested himself personally in our project, holding our hand through some of the lengthy Dept of Building processes and giving us confidence that it would go well. It did. We would highly recommend Joe Pasaturo and AVT Engineering. Thank you, Joe, for your professionalism, great assistance and guidance.

They were also in cahoots with the seller and didn't report everything that they were supposed to do. I felt robbed and now I'm dealing with PTSD every time I try to pursue a transaction. It was my first time trying to buy a home, and I wish I had more balls to say NO and pay them the amount that I agreed on with the company owner. Don't let them scam / fool you. Not pleased. I didn't even try to negotiate on the price and it was already high, so why the $100.00 hike up later?? And for the record, it's not how I feel. It's what happened.
