I usually like coming here, but the last time I came was not a great experience. Service was blah for me because the clerk didn't even say hello or act interested in helping me. I ordered the Super Nachos and Shrimp Burrito. I've ordered those before and loved them, but this time they weren't the same. They seemed way too salty. I think it's a good place if you are feeling the munchies and want some quick food. When I really like a place, I develop cravings for their food, but so far Molca Salsa hasn't really taken a special place in my heart yet. this place is always packed! especially around 2-3am bcuz thats when all the party-goers from bar hopping at downtown fullerton goes after the bars close down. beware of the pedestrians if you decide to go thru the dive-thru cuz they're likely drunk, stumbling about and not realizing they're walking in a drive-thru. thank goodness for a small little hole in the wall, standalone restaurant, this place has two restrooms in the back, one for men and one for women. but dont be surprised to see men using the women's restroom and vice versa! they have good cheap fast mexican food here. i always get their nachos cuz they are sooooo satisfying after a few rounds of cocktails. but thats not to say you shouldnt try anything else on the menu as they have big honky burritos that are very good as well. read more

i dont care what everyone else says, molca salsa will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. my first real mexican joint was introduced to me baccccccck in the day, when i was in high school. i used to come here at least once a week with my friends after school. usual? super fries. when i first had this, i couldnt believe what i was eating. a whole new world was introduced to me (like i said, my first REAL mexcian food, non of that taco bell crap lol). i remember i tried to be neat and dunk the fries into the hot sauce, but i became a veteran lol. i would pour at least 2 containers of hot sauce onto my fries and then i would MIX IT UP. flavors were insane. so flavorful with sour cream cheese and guac. i would also ask for extra onions because i love onion. they would COVER my fries with onions (sometimes to the point i cant see the fries). on other note, i also tried their california burrito (when im feeling lazy) and still, the flavor does not disappoint. ive also tried their 3 rolled tacos and it was bomb. i think their guac is the key. it is REALLY good. my friend got the breakfast burrito cus we came around 4am (i never tried breakfast burrito) and said it was the best breakfast burrito he had, better than SD's burrito joints O.O that is saying alot lol. i didnt get a bite of the breakfast burrito cus i was too busy scarfing down my super fries lol. i also love their drink selections: horchata, orange bang, etc. you have to pay .75 cents or something like that to get a refill though. i dont leave close to it anymore, but whenever im in the area, i come here. love the fact that this place is open 24 hours, ready to fulfill my cravings at anytime. when the sun is out, its okay, but at night, be careful. there are alot of drunk, rowdy people lol. there is enough parking and if you want something refreshing afterwards, there is a starbucks next to it. read more

I have been searching for a place to satisfy my burrito cravings while I'm up at school and I finally found that place. It's hard to find places that serve legitimate California burritos outside of San Diego, but Molca Salsa makes a delicious one. I've had 2 in the past week and I can see many more in my future. This location of Molcasalsa was the first one I've tried. The other ones close by on Whittier Blvd. and the insanely crowded one (weekend late nights) on Lambert and Beach Blvd (admittedly, my fav. of the locations) taste different from this one. The fries in the super fries here taste crispier, and the portions are a bit smaller. They also make the carne asada taste more like grilled meat than the half boiled/simmered concoctions over in the other locations. This place, along with its sister branches, is solid, cheap Mexican comfort junk food at the lowest prices you'll find within a good solid 30 mins drive of this place. One plus about this location though, is that the inside dining area is NEVER closed. I've seen the Beach and Lambert location closed sometimes (usually past 2am), and open sometimes at late nights. But this place is always open if you don't want to eat out in the elements. read more

We went to another restaurant for the carnitas & pollo, but they did not sell carne asada by the pound. So we came back here to get the carne asada, which saved the day!!! Food is delicious for drunchies. I have had better carne asada fries in San Diego but from the OC area, this is one of the better taco shops. Drunchies anywhere is generally good but I'm glad to have come here because they have a huge serving of meat ratio compared to fries so you will definitely get your money's worth. Really good fast Mexican food! My taquitos were bomb, they hooked it up on the sour cream and cheese and I couldn't even finish eating them with my taquitos, which is great! The man working the window was awesome, as well. Nice and polite and gave me a free refill when I spilled it all in my passenger floor board upon having to firmly apply my brakes, much appreciated. He also noticed my cup was damaged and probably saved me from it busting on me while I was driving, lol.
