Unfortunately, while we were explaining our experience to her, the same employees we were complaining about us and were laughing behind the counter, showing absolutely no professionalism or respect. One employee even interrupted our conversation with the owner's mother, insisting that she needed to speak with her immediately. The most disappointing part wasn't even the ridiculous wait time. It was the complete lack of respect, accountability, and basic customer service. Mistakes and delays happen, and we would have been understanding if the employees had shown even the slightest bit of kindness. Instead, we were met with attitude and disrespect at every opportunity. I truly hope the owner addresses this behavior because no paying customer deserves to be treated this way. The owner's mother was the only positive part of an otherwise extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place based on how we were treated, and I certainly won't be returning.

With about 60 people expected, I was starting to panic! Thankfully, two of our bridesmaids found Ayayay Tacos, and the manager and staff came to our rescue! At the last minute, they put together an amazing taco bar for our group. They could easily have said it was too much to take on with so little notice, but instead, they stepped up and made it happen. And the food was AMAZING! Fresh, warm tortillas, delicious queso and salsas, and plenty of chicken, beef, and pork for everyone. Our guests were happy, everyone had plenty to eat, and what could have been a very stressful situation turned into a wonderful evening. What really made this experience special was the kindness and willingness of this family-owned restaurant to help us out when we really needed it. They went above and beyond, and we are so grateful! We are local, and Ayayay Tacos has definitely earned our business. If you haven't tried them yet, do yourself a favor and go! I ordered a Casamigos margaritas, something I've ordered here many times before for $16. When the bill came, I was shocked to see I'd been charged $26 for one margarita--the full $12 margarita price plus an additional $14 for Casamigos. I completely understand an upcharge for premium tequila, and I expected one. What I did not expect was to essentially be charged for both a margarita and a separate full-priced shot. Most importantly, our server never mentioned that choosing Casamigos would bring the price of a single margarita to $26. When I questioned the charge, the restaurant would not adjust it and instead offered a 5% discount, which unfortunately didn't feel like a meaningful resolution. Out of curiosity, I called two other Mexican restaurants in town, Teocalli and Verde, and both quoted me $16 for a Casamigos margarita. I'm sharing this mainly as a heads-up to other customers: if you request a specific tequila in your margarita, I strongly recommend asking exactly what the final drink price will be before ordering. A $26 margarita without any warning was a very unpleasant surprise. It felt shady, and I won't be returning.
