Mojito is an amazing restaurant with fresh delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere! Luam the owner welcomes everyone in like they are family. I take all my friends and family here. I highly recommend getting a mojito and honestly any entree on this menu! read more

Poor service, food takes forever. The Venezuelan food they serve is authentic Venezuelan. They offer are mostly Cuban dishes. Prices are extremely high for what they offer. You'll be disappointed. read more

I think I may have now tasted at least a sampling of a majority of the wonderful food offered at Mojito. I have never eaten anything that wasn't absolutely fresh and perfectly prepared. This is a must eat establishment. Your food is only rivaled by the inclusive vibe. Being from Virginia , we always are treated like family. We will be back again. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the greater Seattle area! I love Cuban and Columbian coming from the East Coast and was brought in by a coworker for a work lunch and it exceeded my expectations times 1000! Vaca Frita is my favorite meal and the Tostones are awesome!! It doesn't get anymore authentic than Mojitos and not to mention they are the strongest and best tasting Mojitos I have ever had!! I would highly suggest Uber/Lyft/Bus if you are going to drink even 1 but at least your liquor portion of the bill won't be too bad and if it is you will be too drunk to care! I wish they would add Arepa and Mazorca to the menu (hint hint!!) Go there you won't be disappointed!! read more

I got this on UberEats and it was amazing. Meat had so much flavor. I will 100% be eating here again.

I was so glad when I learned this place was open for takeout. Difficult to find good Hispanic food in these difficult Covid19 times. We ordered vaca frita, maduros, yuca, steak and shrimp. All done by the time we got there. Give these guys a try....good stuff. And while you wait, enjoy a Mojito. read more

Mojito is terrific! They catered lunches for our law firm, and the food is fantastic, especially the delicious Vaca Frita. The chef and owner, Luam Wersom, is extremely friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Mojito! read more

This place was surprisingly amazing! Really small restaurant, but not too busy, but with high quality food that had influences from Latin America, especially Cuba, and the best hot sauce I have ever had. The service was also both very good and very friendly. If you're looking for a casual hole in the wall that is a gem, I would recommend Mojito. read more

On a Cuban vacation on Lake City Way is it possible? So the little yellow building that you have all driven by and wondered what is that?.........has a hidden secret! The Most spectacular Cuban Food is awaiting you behind those doors. So for you people who need fire on your dish you are sure to dial 911 after taking a bite. Dinner and a cultural experience for less than $20 a plate no way. Way! If you go here be sure to check out all the musical instruments on the walls in fact they encourage you to play them but go on an empty stomach and be prepared for you taste buds to do the Merenge! Great sangria, the best part of this place is while it is raining or grey outside you can sit in this low lit restaraunt with bongos, and other musical instruments and just for a moment forget you are still in Seattle! read more

Great Mojitos! Great food, nice ambiance and staff. This is our second time here and we really like this place. If you come you have to try the Mojitos. They are good and sneak up in you... I can only have 1 and 1/2 I'm too toasty read more

Great neighborhood place with good food. Came here for my birthday. The owner and servers are nice.

Friday night and looking for something in the area to eat. We generally end up in the same restaurant all the time because of what we are used to and for convenience. This time around decided to really explore the neighborhood and find a good place to eat that we would never think about going to. We eating Cuban food the first thing that comes to mind is Paseo. We often forget that sammiches aren't the only thing Cuba has to offer. There are dishes out there that are just as good. Upon arrival, parking is really easy and plenty of it since it isn't in a busy neighborhood. The only thing that was irritating was a one way street but that didn't deter us from going. Ordered some fish and a beef dish. The portions were really big and was full of flavor. The plantains were so good. I ate half of my meal when I was there. Got pretty full from my dish and too the rest home. Once I got home, I felt the urge to finish the rest of the dish. Despite a full belly I conquered all! Looking forward to going back here to eat!! read more

Friday night must have been an off-day for Mojito's. Taking my wife for her first time, we sat outdoors in the warm evening sun. Service was Caribbean-casual (the waiter never refilled our water glasses) and while our sides were OK, the tostones were hard and just luke-warm. The garlic sauce on top was overwhelmingly garlicky, giving one that unpleasantly metallic taste. My pollo was over-cooked, most noticeably the leg portion. My spouse groused about the spinach salad, because it had been prepared some time ago - leaves were bruised and the dressing had an odd flavor that did not agree with her. Someone needs to pay attention what's coming out of that kitchen, because I have had better at Mojito's! read more

O my gosh! INSANE flavors delicious. I had never even heard of some of this food and it was Soooo good! The staff was super friendly and helpful. read more

This is one of our favorite places and wish we came up here more often, but live downtown. As we waited for our table, we overheard a lady say that was the best Mojito she'd ever had. The Guasacaca is amazing! Im not a hot sauce fan, but their Habanero hot sauce is incredible. My wife LOVES the Camarones Carmen Miranda, aka pineapple, mango shrimp dish, and I always have a hard time picking because everything has been great! Love this place, and the back story too! read more

Best drinks in North Seattle, and amazing vegetarian rice and beans - their beef is excellent too, and most dishes come with succulent fried plantains. Never disappointed eating here. read more

We dropped in for lunch on a Saturday and Mojito's went to work blowing our expectations out of the water! We started with the Ensalada Caribena- mango, papaya, red peppers, on a bed of fresh baby spinach with an amazing cilantro lime dressing. Wow! Delicious. Later I had a pork sandwich (Mojito? It was their specialty sandwich). It surprisingly beats Paseo's sandwiches (I didn't think that was possible!). The bread was amazing, and the balance of the savory meat, cheese and veggies inside was perfection. We also ordered Pesado en Guiso. The fish was tender, juicy, and succulent. I will upload photos soon, because the plate was a pure work of art, including the accompanying salad. The waitstaff and cooks are friendly and engaging. There were a few young children bent on making a scene- but the waiter went out of his way to entertain them and keep everyone in the place happy and enjoying the dining experience. read more

Great food, location and prices. Everything was really delicious. The music made me want to dance. Cool spot.

Went on a Sunday food was cold not fresh, and the guy serving was not really friendly. Also they need space to eat it was so small felt like I was in a closet, cooks kept coming in and out with bags of meat and chicken did not look really clean to me. read more

Made reservations for a group. Arrived. No room. No chance of room anytime soon. Sad. Bad way to treat customers.

We had such an AMAZING time from the moment we walked in the door. They were packed to the brim and so we had to do a little waiting in the hallway--all 6 of us. They brought us shots and we instantly forgave them. They have the best cocktails. I had some delicious banana drink that put Orange Julius to shame. Like that's hard. I tried everyone's food--cause I'm a pushy broad--and everything was amazeballs. I was dared to take a spoonful of their hottest hot sauce and sonofabitch. I had to order a glass of milk. The owners were super amazing and friendly--I just wanted to make them a friendship bracelet right there on the spot. read more

If you're looking for authentic Cuban/Latino food, this is the place to go! The food is delicious and you'll be glad you came. The service is good and if the weather is nice you can sit outside. Inside you'll feel like you're in a real Latino cantina/restaurant, the ambiance is great! They play real salsa music too, like the Latin Brothers and Juanes (my favorite). It can be hard to stay seated while eating, cuz you just want to get up and start dancing salsa! I believe the owners are from Cuba and they use "the real stuff" in their meals. Every time I go here my tummy says 'Thank you!' read more

Stopped here on a whim and I tell you what... the food is amazing. I cant wait to go back and have a beer on their patio during a nice summer evening. Oh, btw, if you ask for hot sauce.. the white one will knock your sox off. read more

Mon 10/22/12, 12:30: Mojito/Seattle, Wa: Tried their online ordering for a quick lunch. It was great, the item was ready when I arrived. Two smiling staff greeted at the door. Zip in & out, no delay, though I had to request the side hot sauce again, they didn't read the online order request I guess. Watch out for the hot sauce, it is quite a kicker! The Milanesa Pollo was scrumptious, great seasoning and tender, though needed to be eaten right away while it's still crunchy, else it'll bebsoggy in the togo container. You gotto do the fried plantains with garlic dip, eat it there, don't togo, it gets soggy. A bit pricey for lunch though but worth once a while. 4 stars read more

wow! i never order food outside my comfort zone but i did and it was amazing. i can't remember what it was called but it was pascado (talapia) with lots of toppings and delicious salad. The mojitos were fabulous - strong, limey, and not too sweet. The place was very small and festive and the two guys working there were super friendly. i will definitely go back! this is the kind of place that makes you want to return to try other meals. read more

Somewhat odd location, super delicious food & mojito, free wireless. We're both 99% vegetarian (occasionally eat fish) and found several delicious options on the menu. I can't say whether it's authentic Cuban food, but I can say that it's mighty tasty and even worth driving out of your way for. We went on a Sunday night kinda late and although we got a table right away, they were pretty full. After tasting the food it was obvious why. This seems like it'd also be a good place to go if you were driving and were willing to travel a bit but didn't feel like searching for parking. The location's neighborhoody but close to I-5. read more

I finally stopped by the other day for lunch. I had a Venezuelan pulled pork plate with rice and plantains. When we sat down, the owner gave us some complimentary soup and it was delicious. We were the only ones in the place so we got great service. Only downside is the location. It is right next to the freeway and there is only local street parking. I will definitely be back. read more

I haven't been here since my first review. I tried to go a few months ago, but it was packed, and I was a little worried when we stopped in on Sunday because it was practically empty, and they've shortened their name to "Mojito" as opposed to La Casa Del Mojito so I was afraid something had changed..but nope still the same great food! The menu has changed a little bit, but most of the popular dishes are still there. I had the pescado de tito and it was absolutely amazing! A 5 star meal! The only reason, I'm giving it 4 stars is because my husband's beef dish was a little dry, but it was still packed with flavor. Anyway, don't let the new name or hard to find location deter you, this place is amazing! read more

I came here years ago with a friend. It must have been great as I have wanted to go back since. Went there tonight and was a disappointed. The Mojito was excellent. After I first got there the owner asked me to move my car even though it was fine parked on the street. He said my car could be hit, but I think it was so that more cars could park near the restaurant. I ordered a Parrilla Mojito (the first item on the menu) it was basically grilled sirloin no flavor and over cooked. The beans were ok but nothing to rave about. I might come back for a Mojito if I am I the area, but the food was a disappointment. The servers were ok but did not provide good guidance even after I asked for help. read more

Sometimes you need travel to a new place to taste something that is as close to home as you can possibly get, Mojito is that place. The service is more than friendly, it homey and welcoming. Not only that, they have the real deal there. From the tostones, to the postres. We all had the Vaca Frito. Just like my mother-in-law used to make. We also had a plate of tostones con mojo...real good. Mojito, tasty! Then, postres, a wonderful sweet treat to end the day! Next time we get out of Los Angeles, we'll be back! read more

This place is a neighborhood staple that my fiancé and I go to at least once a week. Not only is the food incredible but Luam (I think that's how you spell his name...), the owner, is a personality that can't help but make you smile. Every time we go there we feel at home and every time someone comes in from out of town that is the first restaurant we take them too. Everything is great on the menu but especially in times like these we here everything is To-Go, their sandwiches are next level. Mojito and Pepito are perfection. read more

This place is a keeper. Drinks are strong and flavorful, and the food was amazing. Service could be a little faster - they aren't lazy they just seemed overwhelmed. Our drinks took a long time but the food came fast. Overall a great hidden gem with some of the best Caribbean food I've had. Love at first bite! read more

A great place for lunch. I have been for dinner and while the food was still yummy, the prices are a bit high. I always order Parilla Luigi lime marinated steak, tostones, fried plantains black beans and rice, and an amazing guacamole-like concoction. The chipotle hot sauce is awesome! It is sooooo good. For lunch its around 10$ and I had left overs. Dinner size is a bit bigger but the price tag is double. We went last time on a cold snowy day and were treated to a complimentary cup of homemade creamy chicken soup which was perfect! The owner/chef is very nice and the servers very friendly and everyone says hi and talks to you read more

I love this place. The Parilla de Luigi is my old stand by and who can go to place called La Casa del Mojito w/out having the namesake drink? Best mojitos! Fun place, especially on a warm evening. read more

The drinks are good. The place is kinda small but on a sunny day it is nice to sit out in their patio area. The food is above average and I've had some amazing dishes and some that were just ok.... read more

This place is excellent. I live basically across the street from Mojito, and have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the restaurants in this area even though the vibe around here is nothing to write home about. But if anybody ever says that there's no good Latin food in Seattle, they're getting pointed in this direction. I admit that my actual travel repertoire has never included a Latin country. I can tell you right away if the sushi you're eating is authentic; I know a solid pelmini dough when I taste it, thanks to years spent wandering the Far East and the better part of the Slavic side of the globe. To be honest, I can't really speak on the authenticity of the dishes, since I (regrettably) have spent no time on the beaches of Havana. Disclaimer aside, I know good food when I eat it, and this place is good. It's a very small restaurant, and they don't take reservations. I'm pretty sure that there are about seven tables in the entire place, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. This probably isn't a place you'll want to go and linger long, particularly on a weekend. Or at least, I consider it poor form when there's a line out the door waiting for tables and you're sitting in your chair two hours after you finish the meal. They won't rush you, however. I didn't encounter any of the issues with a long wait that other reviewers have mentioned. I had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, but considering how small it is and that it was a Saturday evening, that's not bad. The service was friendly and attentive. The food itself. I ordered the Cuban pulled pork (and no, I don't remember any of the names; again, little experience with the Spanish language as a whole) which took up a generous half of the plate and came with a side of fried sweet plantains and a pile of black beans and rice. I found the pork to be tender and crisp at the same time - wonderfully spiced. (Not spicy. Just that the flavors were good.) I also ordered a side of fried tostanados that were topped with a wonderful savory yellow sauce, and a mojito, of course. ...I'm no moijito connoisseur, but I did enjoy the beverage very much. Refreshing and minty and citrusy with a touch of a kick, just like a mojito should be. (Of course, I wouldn't have minded had it been a bit stronger, but, well, I like my drinks strong enough to knock over a horse. So for people who prefer more moderately balanced drinks, this is a definite win.) It is a bit pricey - I went by myself and the aforementioned dinner cost about $30. No leftovers. However, the food was delicious and I in no way feel like I didn't get my money's worth. But if you're looking for excellent Latin food in Seattle, I'd highly recommend this place. A great find! read more

Love Mojito. Whenever we have friends in our neck of the woods, this is our favorite place to take them. There are two vegetarian entrees and I don't even mind getting the same one every time- so good. Try the spicy orange sauce. read more

La Casa Del Mojito, Simply unbelievably good food. Don't let the location or the little yellow building fool you. This is one my top ten favorite places in Seattle. It so small that it can be hard to get a table, but its well worth the wait. It can get pretty loud, but its is always fun and entertaining from the moment you sit down. the drinks are great. The Vaca Frita is what keeps me coming back. The Best Cuban dish I have ever eaten. Cooked perfectly, the spices, the heat, the lime, the meat!!! unlike anything I have ever tasted. an explosion of deliciousness that doesn't quit. As good as it gets! Not sure why it says they have changed their name to just "Mojito" but as long as the food hasn't changed I will continue to return. read more

Mojito was just kinda...eh to me. Nothing really of note to say. The atmosphere of the place is a glorified fast food hut. The food was alright, nothing spectacular. Drinks were well made. A little pricey, but you definitely get a full meals worth when you go. You will be full after your meal. Overall, not bad, not good, just somewhere in the middle. read more
