this boba shop was really cute and aesthetically pleasing on the inside. my order was placed on a computer screen but the time it took from ordering until i got my drink was pretty fast. the tea itself was high quality in my opinion, i didn't really love the flavor i got but i think if i got a different flavor i would really love it read more

I'm realizing that good boba is hard to find in Tampa; coming from the west coast, there's usually a boba shop on every other corner that will get the job done. But here in Tampa, it's a little harder to find. Moge Tee is closer to the university, so it doesn't surprise me that it's a lot of students from the USF campus that form most of the customer demographic, but this place is definitely worth checking out. The shop is clean, simplistic, and serves its purpose of supplying boba and tea and serving as a local hangout/study spot. They have self-order kiosks (the modern age) as well as a cashier to take orders and the drinks come in the traditional teas that we're familiar with, as well as unique flavors and twists that you wouldn't find anywhere else. I came and got a simple brown sugar milk tea (which I usually do for quality testing) and I definitely think this place is worth coming back to try more of the unique flavors. Will be back soon - thank you, Moge Tee! read more

One of the best milk tea in Tampa. Tea is thick and smooth. Highly recommended. The only complaint is that they always out of black boba. Been there 3 times but every time sold out read more

Parking is a pain in the ass. I am an inpatient old person and would have to think about it to come here. The drinks itself is nice. But this last one, it wasn't happy with. The flavor itself was good, but it was gone in 3 sips because it was all fluff with 8 pieces of ice. read more

Went to Möge Tea on a couple of different occasions now and they never fail to impress! Their bobas are fresh and they have a lot of variety that you can choose from. I personally like their fruit teas and the salted cheese foam caps the best! read more

I've gone to a few different ones and for some reason the drinks don't taste like all the other Moge Tee's I've been to. They're not bad they're good but they're not super good and don't make me crave it again and again. I would also like to mention that every other Moge Tee (3 other ones I've been to) does not charge for the cheese mouse in the coco mango beverage but this one charged extra. I was under the impression it was part of that specialty beverage. The lighting in this establishment has a blue color that gives me hospital surgical room vibes. Besides this the staff members were very nice. Even to the ride guest in front of us read more

My friends and I tried out this new boba tea shop located at 2850 university square dr, Tampa. It was refreshed my experience for the boba tea! I ordered a super fruit green tea and my friends had mango pomelo, taro bubble milk tea and strawberry prafait. --The super fruit tasted so good! You can actually see the real fruits flowed in your cup and every bite/taste was fresh and natural! --And my friend loved the mango pomelo, it was mango ice slush with white bubble, mango cubes and cheese foam! (Their cheese foam was amazing!!! And I bought 8 cups home for my parents and cousins!) --They used real taro for the taro bubble milk tea, you can choose either milk or mile tea for this drink, and my friend had it with the milk tea, taste so fresh and great! (Other boba tea tasted like powder taro.) Amazing place with very good customer service. I will definitely come back again! Highly recommend! ! read more

Pretty good boba! Not the best but I liked it. The space is large and a great place to study or play games. Prices are a bit high but I guess normal for the area. read more

Ordered a brown sugar milk tea and Oreo milk tea, both drinks tasted like pure water.

-By far the best boba spot in Tampa (my opinion okay!) -The drinks and service are consistent (I have tried this location and 2 in Orlando) -Boba texture and flavor is my favorite of all boba's I have tried -Add the cheese foam :) read more

Clean tea place. Beautiful and nice ambiance. I got 70% less sugar green milk matcha and I rated 10/10. My husband got pomelo mango milk tea 70 % less sugar and he rated it 10/10. Perfect sweetness which we liked it. Nice staff I would go back and buy other milk tea flavors. read more

It pains me to type this review. This place is by far the cutest boba shop I've ever been to - and I'm a sucker for aesthetically pleasing places. The staff was so friendly and the vibes were simply immaculate, however, the tea was.. subpar. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they use quality ingredients but I really did not find the drinks anything special. In fact, it left me wanting more. Maybe I'm just picky, but I didn't really enjoy the smaller than usual boba pearls (you can't even taste the boba, one suck and you automatically swallow them) and how empty of flavor the drinks lacked. Overall, an adorable place with great ambience, but I don't think it was worth paying $17 for 2 drinks. I feel like most of these highly rated reviews are based on the aesthetics of the shop rather than the actual quality of the drinks. read more

Yay! I am so happy that there is finally a Moge Tee location in Tampa! I always see people post their drink pictures from Moge Tee from different locations around the world on social media, and so I was very excited to try this location out when they had their grand opening a couple weeks ago. This Moge Tee location offers a great variety of tea drinks from fruit teas, milk teas, Uji Matcha, to cheese teas (yes, cheese!...trust me, Asian cheese drinks are awesome), and more! Since it was my first time here, I took awhile looking at all the interesting drink items on the menu and trying to decide what I wanted. I decided to go with the Creme Brulee Uji Matcha and the Taro Bubble Milk Tea (yes, two drinks). When ordering the Taro Bubble Milk Tea, the cashier commented that this one was very good because they use real Taro chunks and that they only use natural and fresh ingredients to make all their drinks. This hyped me up even more to try my drinks! Also, I had a feeling that these drinks were going to taste more authentic than some of the other bubble/boba tea places that use flavor mixing powder for their drinks, and yup, I was right! Moge Tee's Taro Bubble Milk Tea is barely sweet which I surprisingly really liked because I usually like my Taro bubble tea drinks to be sweet, but since they use real Taro here, I felt healthier knowing that it wasn't just all sugar like how they make it at some other places. I thought the Creme Brulee Uji Matcha drink was very unique and tasted awesome! This place is the real deal when it comes to Asian tea drinks. The service is great, and they have a few tables inside for you to enjoy your drinks here. They also do takeout orders if you want to call in advance for your drinks so that they will be ready when you come in to pick up. I look forward to my next visit and to try more of their other tea drinks! read more

Decided to try out the new boba place. It's under a student apartment complex so parking is a bit hectic. Ordered the green milk matcha tea and tiger milk tea. The container was in the shape of a cat or tiger lol which was cute! Taste wise, honestly I felt like I was drinking straight up milk. I did get less sugar for the green tea, so I tried the tiger milk tea which tasted just as bland. There was no ice or anything in the drink so it was an odd taste of not-so-cold milk and syrupy cream. Boba itself was pretty good tho, soft and chewy. I think I'll stick with the other established boba places in the area... read more

First and last time I will pay so much for tea. I came last week at the suggestion of friends and did not like my matcha tea, but figured it was bc I didn't like dairy. Came again and got grape tea which came to almost $8! Tasted okay... then GOT TOWED FOR $200. They really need towing warnings outside the main door. It's like, insane. The towing guy towed about 5 ppl in the time i was waiting for my ride so beware of towing!!! Need more parking that's not tow-able for this place. read more

This place is so beautiful!! The staff was very friendly and patient while we took our time deciding between the thousand drinks they have. We ended up having something with tons of fruit mixed in with green tea and it was soooo delicious! Definitely worth coming here. Their other drinks looked amazing so we'll hopefully be back when in the area although parking can be a bit difficult here. read more

I decided to try a new boba place out today. My go to boba place is usually boba cup, but this Moge Tee has places to sit and study with outlets and free wifi so of course I had to try it out for myself. My go to order is always a taro tea but when I went to order the friendly employee explained how their taro was very different from other places and was even going to let me try it before I bought it which, hello wow! Customer service is definitely not lacking here. Under a recommendation I ended up ordering the brown sugar bubble milk tea which was really good! Their containers are little bears and it even has a stopper at the top to prevent spilling. Love it this place is deff going to be on my list of places to return to! read more

I'm be concise with this review. The teas are all pretty good, but for the average person they might be little under sweetened but its not noticeable and I actually prefer this. I loved it and I recommend being adventurous. The dorayaki cakes were so fluffy though, it was like eating the sweetest pillow. Also the packaging is so aesthetic and cute. If you're looking for something to post on your foodie Instagram, THIS is the place. read more

Can't rate the service since the employees didn't do anything but make the drinks. Loud environment, not enough seating, only two stations to put in your orders that are slow and don't correctly put in your orders. The teas were good... until we pulled a hair out of one. Disgusting and unsanitary. Threw away all three of the teas before we were finished and never coming back. read more

Having missing Hey Tea etc from China, this is probably the closest thing we can get as replacement in Tampa. I've had several drinks from there and they are all pretty awesome, the pastry thing was also pretty good. Will def keep going back. The store is clean and makes me feel comfortable staying and chatting with my friend while enjoying my drink there. read more

Best Authentic Asian Style Tea & Boba Location. Lots of options. Favorite is a combo of peach tea, Cheese foam, and boba. You can ask for less sugar and ice. These drinks are identical in quality and flavor to some of my favorite options in Beijing. read more

I contemplated giving 4 stars for a split second but realized menu prices play a huge roll for me so I had to deduct another star. I read the reviews before I tried Moge Tee so I knew it would be pricey but I don't think I realized HOW EXPENSIVE it was going to be. I ordered the Cheese Foam Mango Tea with regular boba. It was tasty...reminded me of a mango lassi. It was good but definitely not $8 good. With all the other tea places around, I don't know if I could justify spending over $8 on a drink again. Yes, this place is special because they serve cheese foam drinks which other places don't have but it just feels like a total rip off. If you are okay with the price point, then definitely give it a try. The regular milk tea was great but again unnecessarily expensive. I read about the horrible parking situation, so we parked far away and walked. Walking was fine in the evening, but I would not want to do it in the Florida heat during the day. The interior was nice and clean. Seemed like a great place to study. Also, I did enjoy the cups that they used. read more

On the positive side, it's nice to see that a quality boba tea shop is available in Tampa. Tea quality high, boba pretty good. However, their prices are just too high. I have had boba all over the US in every major city, in Taiwan, and in other Asian countries. For the US market, there is really one shop in SF that I would put above all others. Again, this Tampa shop is excellent, but the price point is too much to overcome. read more

Decided to try the mango tea with cheese foam and it did not disappoint! It is almost like a fruit slush and the mango jelly was delicious. The location is under an apartment complex across from USF, so parking is tricky. Nice and clean inside, still socially distancing in line. Overall, very nice and will try again :) read more

There's a wide range of boba flavors! My favorite is the creme burlee milk tea with boba. I don't recommend the yakult drinks, the mix hurt my stomach but the other drinks are better. The taro bubble milk tea uses authentic taro so the texture and taste is different from usual boba places, I don't recommend because it is not sweet like usual taro drinks. If you love fruit flavors try the super fruit or mango tea. If you like more milk or creamy drinks, try the creme brulee and brown sugar. I recommend the mango pomelo for a dessert like drink, there's a lot of content inside and they taste amazing together! The prices are a little high but the quality is worth it. I always take my family from out of town here and they love trying new flavors every time they visit. The workers are very polite and orders come out quickly. If you have a big order (4+ cups), I recommend ordering at least ten minutes on the phone prior to arriving so they are ready by the time you arrive and don't overwhelm the workers. The place and bathroom is clean, there's outlets but not too much seating areas. read more

Let me give an update I've been a loyal customer for about two years they don't let you combine punch cards even though they know it's you making all the purchases and they are also nickel and diming on the accrual levels. Meaning if you had $20, but it was due to tax they will not allow you to get points for that. Not flexible, very greedy, just not good customer service. The only reason I go here is because my significant other likes it, but I would more than happily save my money, and grief, avoiding this kind of service. With these policies, I'm not sure how long they will be in business but only time will tell. I know that they will lose my business as soon as my significant other doesn't have cravings for their product anymore. read more

Yummy tea! And I love the cute bear lids :) The staff was very sweet, patient and helpful with our questions.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at Moge tea this weekend. We waited in the area until they opened but were disappointed with what we ordered - earl grey cheese tea. Not sure if it was brewed wrong or what but not much flavor at all and the cheese foam left a lot to be desired. This is normally our go-to drink at any boba place. read more

From someone who doesn't really like Boba, this place is amazing and I absolutely love it. They use fresh ingredients so sometimes service can be a little slow but it's 100% worth it. I stand by my statement. 100% worth it. read more
