Moe Meat bowl
Racquel R.

The food was bland and Can toy believe they don't have pork anymore????? Oh Lord, Jesus! Why no more pork??? The steak tasted old and I asked for the chips to be hot but they were cold and super salty. I ordered the "Moe Meat" bowl. It lacked flavor to be honest. I am hoping it is just this location that had bland food. Taco Bell has more flavor in their tube beef than this place. I brought it home thinking I could doctor it up. But I may just trash it and move on. The service was meh. They don't smile as if they are happy to see you. It would be nice to get a smile for the price (2 combos, add guacamole and queso for $46). I will say the salsa bar was stocked and it was clean. The drink section was pretty clean, too! The place had a nice ambiance to it also. No complaints ya there. But pricey for the lack of flavor. They have gone down in my opinion. They used to have great atmosphere and food!

Ordered a burrito and got something completely different. Like what? Second time trying this location and second time a fail

A customer with his pet dog

I love Moe's. It's like a every Friday thing for me until about two weeks ago when this teenager comes in carrying his pet dog, and before you say anything, it was not a service dog. I know people love their pets, but it's some places they don't belong. After a while, he got tired of carrying him and put him on the floor. Needless to say, that was my last time in Moe's on North Main Street in Suffolk.

Great spot on Main Street in Suffolk. Employees are friendly, restaurant is clean, and the food is always good! I'm a fan of the John Coctostan quesadilla! They are willing to add any and all ingredients to it, so you can add beans, rice, or other veggies. Very good and very filling. My wife loves their burrito bowls with guacamole and queso on the side. The free chips and salsa bar complete the meal perfectly. Also, make sure you go on Monday's to get a free upgrade to a meal! You'll get a drink included for the same price. My biggest concern is the parking scenario at this location. It's not very easy to get in and out of due to the stoplight right by the entrance. You may want to park closer to Panera since it's out of the way and won't be as busy.

This is my third time eating from Moe's but my first time eating in. The food is very good. Love the salsa. It's a lot like the one I make at home (I ate the three bears medium). The music was loud and annoying. When the staff can't hear you very well, the music is too loud. The food I give a 4 but the experience in the restaurant I give a three.

Too bad they don't really stay open until 9p.... goodbye Moe's

Staff is friendly. The food comes out quick, but the portions are a little light lately, and it can be inconsistent for the quality.

I always judge a Mexican restaurant by the complimentary chips, and these were actually pretty…read moregood! The chips came out hot, which is always a plus. The restaurant has lots of seating, Spanish music playing, and a nice casual atmosphere. There were only about four groups of customers when we arrived, and with four servers working, it did take a little while for someone to get our order. Once we ordered, though, the food came out very quickly and was nice and hot. And they checked on us throughout. The flavor was decent overall. The California fries were really good--they came with sliced avocado instead of guacamole, which wasn't a bad decision. I've definitely had better carne asada tacos, though. The meat was real and had a good texture, but I felt like it could have used better seasoning. My biggest disappointment was the tortillas. They tasted like store-bought tortillas rather than fresh-made, which really made a difference with the tacos. Overall, not a bad spot. The food was hot, portions were good, and there were some definite standouts like the California fries. I just wish the tacos had better-seasoned meat and fresher tortillas.

A friend and I patronized LA PARRILLA Mexican restaurant to have lunch. I ordered a "Burrito…read moreCalifornia" which was advertise as a 10 inch item. I noted all the content of the BC that was listed on the menu and it contained items that I liked. When my food was served it looked delicious and when I took my first cut of the burrito and tasted it, it was delicious. I kept going for a few more bites, and I noted that all the content of the burrito was not there. When I saw the server I let him know that some of the content was missing. The server stated that all the content was inside and he stood there for a few seconds looking at me and I was looking at him and I said OK and I took a couple more bites and there were still missing content, so I cut the "Burrito California in half open it up and call him back to the table and showed him that all the contents were not there: the chorizo sausage and pico de gallo were missing. There was no offer to make a correction, the server just took the plate and left. Came back with a ticket of 3.50 for my drink. The ambience is very fitting for a Mexican restaurant. This was not my first visit matter fact it was one of my favorite places to go when I had a taste for Mexican food and we've had a birthday dinner there for my son-in-law before and we enjoyed our meal and the service at that time.

First, let me thank Guads for having some healthier menu items such as bowls and lettuce-wraps for…read moretacos. I started coming to Guads for that very reason when I was on a restricted diet and the places I usually went didn't have very much in the way of low carb menu items. Second, Diego, Abner, and Jaquelin are always extremely attentive and just as nice as can be. I've watched them work with other tables and service to everyone (not just me) is top notch, friendly, and for such a small staff that makes a huge difference - it makes you feel welcome, and being the place is somewhat small (smaller than the other places in town) it makes for a much cozier "like family" atmosphere. Third, it is your typical Americanized Mexican restaurant with a lot of the same dishes and you know, you like what you like and what you get used to. I like the sauce served with tacos at La Parilla better. I like the Mexican Street Corn and Fried Plantains at Plaza Azteca (which neither other place has). I like "Los Tres" (3 types of Guacamole) at Guads. Their Mole Poblano is my favorite. Their Enchiladas Rancheras has cubed pork where I'm used to shredded - but it was extremely tasty pork cubes nonetheless. The Poblano appetizer is a Poblano people stuffed with Shrimp. The Brioche are skewers like "shish kebabs" with whichever meats you decide and is quite nice for something a little different. Their red and white sauces are "different" than the other places - I like their red sauce best, I think Plaza Azteca had the better white sauce - but they're all slightly different and I'll take any of them any day of the week. My family loves their Chile Rellenos - which are NOT battered which is kind of unusual TMK, but they are actually quite good like that and a nice variation - especially if you want to cut down on some fried stuff and carbs. So I mean, you have to go and try it, and find what you like. They do do Taco Tuesday and it gets super busy, and the Tacos are "very basic" but I mean, TBH I always feel guilty when I get my bill because it's so low and even a single taco has enough in it for a - well, the prices have gone up with what's happening in the world - so they were 1.00, then 1.50, I think they might be 2.00. But heck the other places are like "no we don't do Taco Tuesday, don't ask". But I like their meals enough that even if I'm there on a Tuesday I'll still order a meal a lot of times. My favorite is probably the Taquitos Mexicanos with is 2 Taquitos - but they're two tortillas each so longer and thicker than typical - those are set on a bed of refried beans (enough to hold them in place) and topped with sliced avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, jalepenos, pickled red onion IIRC, and crumbled cheese, with some chipotle drizzle or something IIRC - very nice presentation. The Chimichangas are like tortillas made into little pouches with the brisket inside of them - amazingly good and again, an attention to the appearance of the food rather than just a plate of rice, beans, sauce, and enchilada like so many dishes (they do those too though I you're looking for that). Just a lot of the stuff is nicely presented - got Texano dip the other day and it had two "wings" on it - a fried flower tortilla cut in half that had the edges cut with triangular points like sun rays - very nice for something you'd just expect a bowl of cheese dip. We've had nothing bad there - some things weren't as good for me, or for my family at other places (and we all like different things at the different places) but I've had nothing I'd say was downright bad. Some things are kind of "plain" or "basic" so I feel like, with the other more "typical" dishes, the "typical ones with a twist" and the "unique" dishes, there's something for everyone here.

Such a good place! No wait, great service, lively decor, and good food. I also love how…read morestraightforward the menu is without being overwhelming, which makes it easy to decide what to order. There was a bit of a language barrier, and when we asked for water, our server forgot to bring it out, so we had to remind him. I also ordered the carne asada, which I thought was a little underseasoned, but nothing that some good ol' salt and pepper couldn't fix! Other than those minor things, we had a really good experience overall. Definitely a solid spot!

I have been wanting to try El Korita for a couple of years now so figured this would be a perfect time, I'm sure glad we did! We got there an hour before closing and even though the place is pretty tiny, they were able to seat our party of six with no wait time. Put two tables together for us and quickly got our drink orders and brought us three baskets if chips with both the red and white salsas to accompany them. Red salsa was delicious, I'm not a fan of the white sauce in general but the white with the red together was pretty tasty. They also took our food order quickly and were patient with our requests to change a couple of things with the order. Food came out really quickly, very hot and freshly made, and delicious!!! Our party tried the steak and chicken fajitas, enchiladas Mexicanas, loaded nachos, shrimp taco salad, steak tacos and steak quesadilla. Everything was delicious and really reasonably priced and they never rushed us through, even though by the end of our meal it was closing time. Highly recommend this place, we'll definitely be back!

We arrived about 6:00 pm and we waited about five minutes... to our surprise another party was getting up from the table. After the waitress cleaned the table, we were sat after 8 minutes of walking in. Business was booming! We saw only three workers up front, but they all were on the move non stop. I ordered chicken and beef soft tacos and my babe ordered the fajitas. We both enjoyed our food and ate it all! He ordered a cocktail and I, a margarita. The margarita had too much mix in it and was not good at all... I am taking away the one star. The free chips and salsa... the chips were delish! Not sure if they were fresh or store bought. The food was plentiful and overall we will return if we are in the mood for Mexican. This mom and pop shop closes early, but if you are in the area they are worth checking out. Parking is available on the street. I did not see a garage nearby, but on this day parking was not an issue for us. Have fun and enjoy life :)

It also came with this special sauce, but it didn't really need it. They were amazing as is. I did like dipping my chips in the sauce. I also loved the chips and salsa. They're the thicker cut chips and can hold a lot. The salsa was fresh and no heat to it, but you could taste the peppers. The employees were very nice and helped me because I came in thinking I knew exactly what I wanted lol but completely forgot the name. It seems like a local restaurant because the employees were very friendly with all the customers there, and seemed like they knew everyone. If I have time before I leave, I'll definitely come back!
