Food, mostly southwest style is good, if not exceptional. Mostly well prepared but not all of it. The reason for the low rating is the prices--WAY high for this kind of food in this area! For kind of a nothing place with good but not exciting Food you'll be amazed at how high the prices are. Very disappointed. We typically enjoy a fast lunch at other Moe's. The service was slow and not friendly. We went early afternoon. It was hard to choose what we wanted due to the rice and proteins looked old and dry. Our items were made sloppily. The salsas also appeared old. There was a small amount of tomatillo in the pan, when I went to scoop some it was crusty. We also did not enjoy the flavor of the food, we ended up tossing it. read more

Where do I even begin? I ordered delivery for my wife and I using the Moe's app. I should have checked Yelp first. This place is awful. My wife ordered quesadillas, and that was at least half way edible and properly packaged. I ordered a burrito bowl. It came in a styrofoam container, having been simply slapped in there with no protective packaging of any kind in a container that looks like it had been exposed to the elements. The "steak" protein was a lovely shade of light grey that I'm sure everyone expects in steak (insert vomit emoji here!). The rice was horrifically bland and didn't even match the order. I had also ordered, and was charged for, two 20-oz sodas. One was to be a Coke for my wife and a Coke 0 for me. My wife has a sever allergy to artificial sweeteners. Second time I have eaten here, but this time I got service and fresh hot meat. I ordered the nachos with ground meat with tomatoes, cilantro, sour cream, black olives, cheddar cheese and queso sauce. Yum yum yum loved every single bite. I was going to attempt to finish it but gave in. Took the other half to go container. It fulfilled my cravings, which isn't easy to do. Normally I love Moes because I go to tilghman street one. The employee here seemed very uninterested or happy. I got a heaping scoop of broken chips and the veggies were wilted and soda counter was sticky from one end to the other . This Moe's is in a smallish strip mall on the southbound side of Schoenersville Road. Because there are a number of restaurants in this strip mall, parking was clearly inadequate at peak dinner hours. However, I did manage to snag a parking space near Moe's. The other problem I noticed was the parking area is rather trashy. There was litter everywhere that I had to avoid stepping on. First impression: Unlike every other Moe's location, there was no "Welcome to Moe's!" as I entered. But okay, I never thought it was necessary for them to yell that catchphrase anyhow. I noticed that every unoccupied table was filthy. I had to clean one of the tables myself. Unacceptable. The people at the counter were polite. We've become quasi-regulars at this location on Sundays not because the food is outstanding but simply because kids eat free here every week on that day so to me it makes sense. I mean don't get me wrong in that the food is pretty good. It certainly is not five star material or even four star material depending on who makes it but if you're looking for something which seems healthy-ish with a high level of customization this place will do. A few noteworthy quirks: * The person who makes the food goes a long way in determining what you'll get in the end. Some of the staff really skimp on meat or on toppings while other people load it down to the point that you don't know how they'll be able to close the stack before it goes under the press. * Watch what you get charged as different people charge different amounts for the same thing which I've seen several times since when we come we always order the same things. Some people "forget" to make the Sunday kids meals free while others will charge twice for add ons like bacon, guac or queso on certain menu items while others will only charge for some add ons but skip others. * By the time dinner comes around the store is usually filthy. Various salsa & chip bits are all over the tables and if you look at the booths especially by the bottom cushion....Yick! As long as they keep the kids eat free promo on Sunday rolling we'll likely keep coming as the food is decent, the salsa is pretty good (cranberry-lime #winning!) and the chips when fresh are perfect so to me it just makes sense. read more

On the road, my family stopped here since we've enjoyed Moe's at other locations in the past. Apparently, all Moe's are not created equal. This was pretty terrible. The servers seemed disinterested and remote. They were out of chicken. The ground beef and pork was so old and had been sitting so long at 5:00 PM that the server had trouble scraping it out of the pan. Small bottle of water cost $2 and the ice machine was broken. When we got out to the car (choosing that in these COVID days, besides the restaurant didn't look too clean), the burritos were ice cold and uninviting. We took the whole mess home and microwaved it to make it edible. I'm now sitting here hoping I don't get food poisoning. I won't be back. Avoid this place!!! read more

I love moes & I eat it a lot. But this particular location has a tendency to close early due to "low staff". Tonight when I was there there they had 4 people working on a Friday. When I went in there was no line. I was eating there and they hung up a sign outside that said they were closed at 8:30 not 9:00 and locked the door. Leaving customers pulling on a locked door leaving with frowns. They continued to clean up and made the whole place smelly and smokey while they cleaned the grill and started to clean around us. This seemed to be very unprofessional and also a bit gross. I rate it 3 stars because it's food is good and their staff is usually nice but tonight I was disappointed. read more

Schoenersville Road is getting all kinds of new restaurants. This is great because I live and work nearby, and the more options, the merrier. I decided to eat at Moe's today for lunch having never been to a Moe's before, but I glanced at the menu and nutrition facts online and had my mind made up before walking in. When you walk in, you're greeted by "WELCOME TO MOE'S!!!" from the staff behind the counter. My welcome was incredibly loud because I came in at 11:30 to beat the 12 noon lunch crowd. Like the previous reviewer said, Moe's works like a Subway. You pick your base item - burrito, fajita, salad, nachos - etc. and start topping it. You have a choice of meats - chicken, tofu, fish, ground beef, pork, beef, a choice of bean - black or pinto, and a choice of toppings including rice, lettuce, pico, guac, jalepenos (fresh and pickled), sour cream, cheese, etc. You can then get side orders like chips and queso. I got the chips with no queso. For beverages, this location has something rather new (or maybe just new to me, I dunno) - it's a soda machine that dispenses by means of touch screen. Push down for ice, then push the beverage choice on the touch screen. For those wanting fresh brewed ice teas, Moe's has 4 choices - 3 sweet, 1 unsweetened. These are in traditional dispensers to the side. There's also a salsa bar featuring 4-6 types of salsa. I tried the mild lime and the classic medium. The lime was a hit but could use more heat. My meal, a ground beef burrito "streaker" (basically a burrito sans-tortilla served in a bowl) was good. A word of note, though, if you're looking for a Chipotle-quality burrito bowl, this is not quite it. I couldn't put my finger on it, but the quality and flavor just wasn't there. That said, it was good and I appreciate the wide variety of options Moe's has for a quick lunch or dinner. Their chips are delicious and I love a good salsa bar, so thumbs up for that, too. Will I be back? Yes, because it's closer than the newly opened Chipotle and is a good lunch destination as an alternative to my beloved Saladworks several doors down. read more

I've eaten here a few times and I've always had a good experience. The food has always been fresh. Like others have said, the menu is a bit confusing and should be replaced. There are plenty of parking spaces. It's located in a strip mall right next to Sheetz. I mainly eat the salad with taco shell and I really dig it. You get a hearty portion and you get to pick whatever toppings you would like. I've always gotten take out and they've always included a free bag of tortilla chips which is pretty cool. Don't forget to go to the bar in the very back to get some salsa sauce for your meal or for the chips to go. They have a variety of salsa sauces to choose from, mild, hot, etc.... All in all, I would recommend you give this place a try. It's pretty good stuff! read more

First off their ground beef looked as though it had been sitting undisturbed for about 3 hours, dry, crusty & unpleasant. Stir it occasionally, replace it with fresh meat, jeez! I ordered the steak Stack, my guy put, maybe, a tablespoon of steak in it, when I asked if he could actually put some steak in it so I can taste it, offering to pay more, he put alot more in, letting me know he knew he put next to nothing in it the 1st time. The kid at the register tells my husband & I if we want more salsa we can just come back & ask for it, I say why not just give us enough so we don't have to come back to ask for more & in classic Bill & Ted mode he seemed stunned at such a suggestion & proceeds to give us 2 each. My husband's tacos fell apart and had next to no meat in them either. The tables were a mess, with some bench seats so far from the table you'd have to eat your food on your lap or stand to eat, I guess. It was just a whole mess. This particular location isn't a good Moe's franchise whatsoever. Some people were offered the complimentary cups and salsa upon their pick up orders while others had to ask where's my chips, where's the salsa? Thank goodness we finally got a Moe's!!! The LHV is moving up in the world with simple, convenient, tasty, quality options!!! Now if we could just get a Zoe's and Jim and Nick's I may could stay here a little longer :) Note of caution: Portions are more than plentiful here so be prepared to split it, or take some home. The "Welcome to Moe's" greeting is intended to be very loud- in a joking sort of way. So don't be too alarmed. Also, if you like everything about a wonderful burrito but want to skip the tortilla- ask for it "streaker" style. Makes into a great salad like option.
