    Naan breakfast

We got the Indian breakfast Naan sandwich which was pretty decent for airport food. I think it could've had a little bit more flavor though. Just tasted like egg with naan bread. The service was really fast which helped us get food before our flight. We just took it to go so I can't really comment on the seating for here, but it felt pretty crowded. Wouldn't get it again.

S Gate option. Really good food. I had a naan -breakfast sandwich. It was delicious and Poli. Curry was good and they have sushi. Good choices on S Gate.

Was looking for something of a quick bite and came across this restaurant. All food here is takeout. The price for various food items is exorbitant! I got the chicken tikka masala curry with rice. The size does not justify the cost. The attached picture of the food was for 19.99 pre tax! Taste wise it was okay. Rice was similar to sticky rice in a thai restaurant and the chicken was hard and the sauce was bit on sweeter side. Overall compared to the other restaurants in the area I'd say this felt relatively better. The best option is to get your own food from some place outside but if not then give this restaurant a try.

The chicken actually didn't seem cooked all the way. It had a chewy texture so I had to throw it away for safety... It seems like the curry was placed on the wrong side of the container too? Making it hard to open and easy to spill everywhere. There was no rice (even though there was supposed to be so the curry) was just soupy and gross. $24 for this. That's not right.

It is what it is for airport food. I actually really loved the tofu laksa - it's nice to have a light and warm option amidst burgers and chicken tenders. Was pleasantly surprised how zesty the broth was! I'd definitely come back here. $17 for the bowl which for sea tac is par for the course unfortunately

Everyone should know this exists in the Seattle airport. It's such good airport food. My one complaint is that they won't give you a combination of curry's like at Chinese places... please get combo platters Moe!

I kept thinking about the explosion of flavors as this is the first time I tried pani dahi, little puff balls filled with masala potato in a flavorful yogurt based sauce with plenty of delicious toppings. I enjoyed their goat and lamb biryanis with parathas, the masala burgers, kesar mango ice cream smoothie. What makes Urban Tapri special is the passion and hard work behind the food. I said hello to the chef, very kind man. The owner is also very kind. This family-run restaurant brings the kind of authentic Indian flavors that you often have to travel to India to experience. Outside is humble looking but the food is excellent, the prices reasonable, and it is truly a special place in our community. A true tapri, I would say. Highly recommended.

If there was any communicating to be done, she would call from India TO the kitchen that was like 3 feet back to ask the chef (ie for boxes etc). It was certainly an experience. Food wise- we got the samosa (5/5), the garlic cheese maggi (husband had it but was not really impressed plus it came out in a plastic box which he wasn't happy about), I got the "masala maggi" which also came out in plastic and honestly didn't taste much like maggi and didn't taste that good overall, and I got the Chole batura which actually was really good (5/5). Would recommend the place if you're in the SeaTac area but probably wouldn't come out to eat here if I'm not in the vicinity.

I thought the pricing was a little bad though, I mean it's pretty good food but it's in the realm of $20 per meal when the quality is just on par with the above-average Seattle restaurant. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is semi-modern, kind of like a stone slab sort of vibe, it's pretty clean though. Overall a good restaurant and I would say it would be more of a staple for the workweek if it was cheaper.

We went on a weekend, which was a plus since the area tends to be quite empty on weekends. We ordered the chicken Karahi, goat curry and a pea curry (methi malai). The chicken Karahi was not at all like the ones I've had in other Indian restaurants, which is dry-sauteed, which when ordered in other restaurants, they would specifically say that this is a "dry" dish with no gravy. However, this chicken Karahi had a lot of gravy, which was unexpected. The taste wasn't bad, but it was different from what I was used to. The goat curry was just ok, as expected. and the pea curry had more gravy than usual and the taste was not great but good for naan dipping. Overall, the restaurant didn't satisfy my craving for Indian food. I'll have to find another restaurant that will satisfy my craving. I probably won't be back, but at least I gave it a try.
