Moes has gone down soooo much , owners changed ingredients to save food costs and they aren't allowing tips for the workers any more, those folks needed the raise and the tips for how hard Gina and her crew works ... been a restaurant owner for decades people are your most valuable asset.. period, changing the Barbacoa to whatever meat you're using is horrible and now they're replacing provolone with mozzarella, just doesn't taste right any more , extremely disappointing. The variety of bagels seems to vary day by day, so sometimes your preferred flavor isn't available but that's what happens sometimes. Staff is very friendly and hardworking. Only complaint is what others have stated: the online ordering stinks. Takes forever to get through the queue to get your order, and I've had multiple "order ahead" orders I place for an hour out still be nowhere near the top to be prepared even 90 minutes later. That said, going in person and avoiding the online ordering is much easier, but dang, it would be real nice if I could expect a specific time frame to pick up in the morning. Their bagel breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. They use farm-raised eggs and it shows. Eggs are usually not something about a sandwich that I remember or think about, but here it was almost the highlight for me. It was so good. I got mine with sausage and it was perfectly seasoned without being too greasy or heavy. The bagel it came on was perfectly toasted, making it one heck of a sandwich. I got it without cheese because I have a dairy allergy and they were more than happy to accommodate that. They have many vegetarian options available, if that's your thing. The caveat to that is if you're looking for strict vegan food, you won't find a lot of options here, as most of the sandwiches have egg, cheese, or meat. There is one hummus sandwich that would work for you, though. The soundtrack was the reason why I left this review. I've officially tried Moe's three times, it's right by my house and I want to love it but just can't. The service is great and the prices are on par with other local bagel spots, but the actual bagels are flavorless and hard. I tried a pumpkin bagel and there was like no meaningful difference between that and the plain bagel. Everything bagel was slightly better but still lackluster. I've only tried their plain cream cheese, but it also borders on flavorless. I would rank this in the same tier as Rosenberg's. The absolute best thing Moe's offers, is the vegetable cream cheese. It has real vegetables finely diced and blended with a high quality cream cheese. Lines can get long quickly, but they do seem to have a system and move people through quickly. They also seem to limit the number of orders they take until they have fulfilled orders, so once you get through the line, your food should come out quickly. I ordered a tomato bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese. The flavor on the bagel was light but nice consistency was also nice and chewy. The sundried tomato cream cheese is delicious.
