Come to find out it was just on the counter, but no one said anything and I was just standing there and they were all just looking at me like it was my fault. A pretty underwhelming bagel sandwich if I'm being honest. I know Moe's has been a Boulder staple for decades, so maybe I caught them on an off day. When you're branding yourself as an east coast/NY style bagel, my expectations definitely skyrocketed. Came here after a hike, so the flavor jets were in high speed pursuit. I was actually headed somewhere else first, but when I saw the sign for bagels I took a detour because that's what I really wanted. To their credit, the line moved quickly and the staff was efficient. When people want their bagels, they want them immediately. They churn out a fast product here at Moe's. BEC (Bacon, Egg & Cheese), coffee and $1 tip, I was at a $14 bill. With inflation, and even Boulder prices, that's incredibly steep if you ask me. I was in NYC last summer and we got two BEC's, a donut and two coffees for $10. And it was one of the best bagel sandwiches I've ever had. C'mon now. This was a very bready BEC. The bagel was probably the best part of the sandwich if I had to choose. The cheddar cheese wasn't fully melted and kind of overpowered the egg and bacon flavor. I was hungry after hiking out in the cold, but this was incredibly average in my opinion. Maybe Moe's is better for a bagel and cream cheese type of place? Has qaulity declined over the years? I don't know. I love supporting the family owned businesses more than anything. And typically the ones that have been in business for decades have my unwavering affection. But something about the taste of the bagel just wasn't good. read more

I just paid almost $10 ($9 and some cents amount, I was not offered a receipt) for 1 bagel with plain cream cheese and lox. It stated a bit over $6 on their price board. I went back to inquire and was told I got the "better" lox. I asked to see the price for that lox, but the staff said they don't know the cost and the price also doesn't show on their menu board. But they sure "know" what to punch into the cash register to charge me extra for special lox. Am I being taken advantage of? The managment needs to know about this. read more

Great little coffee shop in downtown Boulder. All the usual coffee drinks, breakfast bagels, and breakfast burritos. The service was fast and friendly. There is plenty of creamers and condiments available. I didn't try the food but it looked good. read more

Have been looking for good NY style bagel. Followed list from 5280 magazine showing Moe's as 2nd place. Store was average, many bagel options, friendly staff. Bagels reasonably priced but we found them to be on the dry size. Wanted to get chocolate milk for my son but it rang up $5 for 12 oz. I think there are much better options so we won't be in a hurry to be back. read more

Having spent my entire life here, Moe's has always been my go-to for bagels. Generally speaking they are good/average. This location should be avoided! It is poorly managed. It is dirty, the staff is rude and takes zero care when preparing your food. And unless you show up at 9AM good luck getting the bagel flavor you want. I cannot count the number of times I have showed up only to see, yup they are out of that one again. I give up. Today was the last straw. My bagel sandwich is burnt and they didn't have two flavors I wanted. If you want Moe's, go to the Broadway location. It is still good... and clean! and has plenty of bagels! and the staff aren't rude! All things T mesa doesn't have. Moe's maybe consider changing up management at T Mesa. It is beyond disappointing and I tell everyone I know to avoid it. read more

Like the original location on Broadway in North Boulder and the "almost" original location at 30th and Arapahoe, these are my favorite bagels in Boulder. It's great to have a new location in South Boulder. I had my favorite cinnamon raisin bagel toasted, with butter. And I got a pack of "lite" cream cheese to take home for my husband. They have just opened but with little fanfare and given the snowy cold weather they opened during, it's not too crowded yet. And I emphasize yet, given how needed they are around this part of town. They seem to have all the flavors as the bigger locations, they are baking on site with dough from 30th and Arapahoe. They have the cream cheese packs, the refrigerated juice drinks and the pastry selections I am used too. The staff seems well trained, I assume they have opened with employees from their other stores. Very friendly folks. You can also see the boiling bath machine and baking ovens. Plenty of parking as it shares the lot on this side of the shopping center building with King Soopers, is very close to Pharmaca's west entrance and you can see the large yellow cafe patio awning from the lot near the Moe's sign at the entrance. read more

I've been a loyal Moe's customer for more than 10 years. The location on Table Mesa was not up to par. The bagels were just plain bad. Dry weird texture and no real bite to them. The guy running the place was great. He was hustling but the kid who obviously hated his job and tried to make me a simple toasted sesame with cream cheese did not reflect well on Moe's. read more

The bagels are mediocre. The counter staff is sullen and unfriendly. Loud metal and punk rock music blast constantly. No wifi. The subtext of the place is: order your bagels and get out. Coffee is decent and bathroom is clean. read more

The table Mesa location is hands down the slowest location. I ordered on the Moe's app several times before I left Louisville taking marshal into town. Even with an empty store they still can't seam to get one burrito done in the time listed in the confirmation email. Every other store in Boulder and Louisville knocks the order out super fast. Plan on an extra 5-10 mins for your order to be ready. read more

Love Moe's generally but the Table Mesa location is terrible. The employees are rude and no matter how far in advance you place an online order, it is never ready, it is never correct and when you ask for your order upon arrival they act as if they don't know what you're talking about. The Moe's on a grant is really busy so it's understandable why sometimes online orders aren't ready but this Moe's is rarely busy, you often walk in and they're standing around doing nothing and they act really put out. I used to love going to Moe's, which is why I'm giving them 2 stars instead of one. The past few times I have online ordered from Moe's my bagels have been wrong. I ordered two bagels online this morning, and when I went to pick them up both were wrong -- my bagel that was supposed to have hummus, tomato, lettuce, onion, green pepper, and avocado only had hummus and tomato; and and I ordered another bagel sandwich that I requested vegan cream cheese on that had regular cream cheese instead. I asked them to remake my bagels, and the employees were incredibly rude. They refused to remake the sandwich that was supposed to have vegan cream cheese, claiming that they knew they gave me vegan cream cheese. (Note, they did remake the hummus sandwich perfectly). I'm sure you can imagine the difference in taste in vegan cream cheese and regular cream cheese, and I've had the vegan cream cheese from Moe's multiple times and it tastes nothing like the cream cheese that was on my bagel. Regardless of whether or not it was even vegan cream cheese, if someone comes in suspecting that there is something in their bagel that they cannot eat you would expect them to remake the bagel for the customer's peace of mind. I wouldn't be so upset except the way that the employees handled this situation, especially because they refused to refund me for my bagel as well, which was over $10. Other Moe's locations have been much more accommodating than this one, and I really hope I can be a customer again in the future. read more

My friend and I usually go here every other morning for breakfast. It used to be a delightful experience with us catching up every morning with the employees. Now this morning we had a terrible experience, one of the employees was very angry when he realized he made us the wrong order. He then continued to talk about how that was not what we ordered. Chatting with my friend to actually confirm we ordered correctly. After an unsettling experience of watching this man angrily make our order correct, he then slammed the order and the counter and stormed off. Upon looking at our correct order it was still made wrong. We gave up the fight and just settled because at the end of the day it is a burrito. Very rude and impolite experience to a place that we loved so much. Will not return anytime soon. Not here to slander Moe's just wanted other guests to be made aware. read more

Stale day old bagel, brought back to the store and was told they would not use a day old.Refused to remake or even an apology. I have been a patron for nearly 2 decades!! I know when a product is stale. Add to this terrible experience green new-hire who rather than recieving direction had Crass employees yelling at each other. I used to really like this place until they started getting my order wrong. Often. For a while I was loyal and I would make up excuses for the mistakes until this one morning. I ordered a breakfast burrito and asked for no jalapeños. That was when I received my burrito and took a bite to discover that not only are there jalapeños in my burrito, but the guy behind the counter decided to also add onion, which were not on the menu. I took it back and was really clear about not wanting jalapeños or onion. We went over this back and forth at least 4 times! That was when I got my new burrito and went to my table and took a bite to descover both JALAPEÑOS AND ONIONS in my burrito... I was upset but all I asked for was my money back. I used to love you guys! But it had been slipping for a bit before this particular morning that broke my heart. I won't return again. read more

The service was awful. We ordered a couple of bagel sandwiches and an apple juice. When talking to the cashier I asked for a cup of water. She responded by putting her hand in my face, and saying hold on. Which I did, then asked for my cup of water which was a tiny cup. After asking for a bigger cup, she said she would charge me for it. I said fine, but please tell the owner that it's weird that I dropped $25 bucks here and can't get a decent courtesy cup for free. They were rude from that point on, including throwing our sandwiches up and walking away from the counter. Never will go here again, there are three other Moe's and many other bagel shops. read more

Really good coffee, excellent bagels. Most appealing about this place was their people. Professional and personable, the did a superb job of handling a morning mini-rush while taking time to train the new guy. I wish a place like this did something that would help you get to know your servers (name tags, or even a chalk board with some id) because it's really those interactions that make you return to an establishment no matter how good their coffee/bagels. So, purple hair girl was terrific; hustling, training, and providing friendly banter. "New Guy" will be just fine... seems like a quick learner and has some personality right out of the blocks. read more

We call them wrong-rittos. I can't remember the last time they got an order right. I thought maybe it was bc nobody writes anything down and they can't remember the order but we started ordering online so everything is in writing and they still can't get it right! If you ask for red salsa you'll get pork green chili. If you ask for a whole wheat tortilla you'll get flour. If you add bacon they'll add it to the other burrito in the order. In the past I just said whatever, it still tastes good but I draw the line at not getting bacon! Bacon people understand. It's also usually chaotic in there bc they don't take peoples names and then everyone just grabs the wrong one. read more

The service is worse than abysmal. The concept of welcoming a customer with a smile is a novel one at this location. Half the time the orders are made incorrectly while the staff pays little attention to the work at hand. Each employee handles multiple different orders at a time while writing nothing down, and because of this they miss things or completely forget your order. These faults seem to be unique to this location though, at the Moes on Arapahoe each staff member greets each customer with a smile while being attentive and careful. Not only that, they write down each order and I have never left that location disappointed. Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing for the Moes on Broadway. read more

Their bagels are highly overpriced for the quality. Small, hard, thin bagel with flavored cream cheese is $4! You'd be better off going to the grocery store and getting a pack of bagels and a tub of cream cheese, and it will be just as good. I don't understand how they can have so many locations? read more

Who doesn't include plastic utensils for a food delivery? We ordered a dozen+ bagels and cream cheese for a large meeting, and expected that plastic knives would be provided. Napkins weren't included either. I called Moe's only to be told "yea, we don't include that stuff in our orders." Hm, okay. Well next time I will call another place that does include "that stuff" so we can actually eat the food instead of just look at it. Not to mention, they didn't get the order right. read more
