5 Stars for a solid coffee shop with space to work and enjoy some food. Though OZO looks small from the outside, rejoice in that they have a back room for coworking! I was there for a quick coffee and breakfast, but was able to send a few emails while there. I ordered the veggie frittata breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino and enjoyed both immensely. I also appreciated the friendly staff as I could not be that happy that early in the morning! When I'm in Boulder, this is a great option for good coffee in an unpretentious space. read more

I love a small local coffee shop and this was truly the gem I was looking for! OZO Coffee has a welcoming appearance and they have a ton of tables and places to sit and enjoy whatever you order as well. I decided to order an iced latte with almond milk a 12oz and it was fantastic! You know it's good when you see the espresso machine pour the double shot and how rich it looks. I don't have to add any extra ingredients to it either like sugar which clearly shows the espresso was spot on. That's my indicator with coffee shops. The drinks are also affordably priced which makes it all the better. My only complaint with OZO Coffee is I wish I would've ordered a larger size so I could've enjoyed it for longer. The 12oz was delicious and so good that I wish I had more. I wish I had an OZO Coffee by me as it was that good. Highly recommend if you are in Boulder, CO to visit! read more

Love Ozos! My go to is a drink off their great chocolate drinks menu. However I tried the seasonal chocolate chai and it was amazing!! I need to go back and get that! The pumpkin spice latte was also solid, but would definitely go back and get that chocolate chai again for sure. Service was super quick and nice. I had a chocolate croissant and it's was actually bad. I'm not picky and have never had a croissant I didn't like prior to this. It was heated up so much in the microwave that it turned hard and the chocolate on the inside was all in one place as opposed to spread out through the pastry. I was sadly disappointed. I visited OZO Coffee Company around 3 p.m. on a Wednesday with four other guests. The coffee shop was bustling, but we did not have to wait in line very long. We had to sit at a table on the back patio, as there weren't any larger ones available, but that was not an issue for us. There are several large tables available outside. I ordered a medium Iced Blackberry Coconut Matcha with whole milk, which was just under $6 with a tip. As a matcha fan, I thoroughly enjoyed this drink. if you're on pearl, go to the OZO's on the west side. this spot is good, but the other one is better! cozier, comfier, and better location. nonetheless, ozo's is still ozo's! and that means they've got a great cup of coffee! i went with a cinnamon honey oat milk latte and they knocked it our of the park. the service was a little slow but it was a saturday morning, not all that surprised. my sister got a Gluten Free breakfast sammy and i had a take a bite to see how they did. the bun was one of the better GF buns i've had! so yay for those of you looking for GF options. one plus is that there is street parking right out front of the store so you can pull right up and go. read more

Much smaller than their other OZO location a few blocks away. This one feels more homely and mom and pop. Still plenty of seating, but more for a quick drink, rather than a longer work session like the other OZO, which I prefer, but this one is nice for different reasons. read more

Went to Ozo to purchase bulk coffee with my pre bought canister and was told I could not buy the bigger bag of coffee because it would not fit - I explained I purchased the bigger bag the last time I was there and they put the extra in a bag. While this space hasn't been closed for very long, the coffee shop has been sorely missed. You may take a look at the photos and think, geez this place looks familiar. Indeed it does (as it was previously The Cup). With the transition of this space into Ozo there are new tables, new styling to the coffee bar, and a new vibe. But don't fret, there's still seating outside if you like to take in the sunshine while slurping your cup o' joe. You can get any of your Ozo faves right here, including their coffee beans and fresh made bakery items (fresh quiche anyone?). The friendly staffers also told me that they have sandwiches - which I'm super excited to try. I'm looking forward to seeing if they too host fun events like 'meet the artist' that I've taken part it at their other locations. If so, I'll surely be back sooner than later. read more

Right on Pearl Street Mall and quick in and out service. Service and menu options would be a 5/5; however, not a huge fan of their coffee's taste. Might be a personal preference but it definitely tasted on the bitter/burnt side of things. Either way, good local option if in the area. read more

Love this place! Formerly known as The Cup, OZO has come in and upgraded the place left and right. Coffee is great and the treats are yummy! My favorite is the Matcha Green Tea (pic attached). So good! I come every week and also frequently get the Bhakti Chai, hoping it'll be spicier than the last although it's never knocked my socks off. They make above average chais. The vibe is trendy, artsy, and modern, a good place if you're looking for a mood booster while you catch up with someone, study, read, or get work done. I wouldn't say it's very cozy as some of the seating is stiff like Chipotle's. Seating is also limited although they have extra space in the back--it's a popular joint! All in all, OZO is a reliable and consistent coffee shop with a nice feel, and coffee and treats that hit the right spot. Look forward to coming every week! read more

While I wouldn't exactly say I loved the interior decor, I did love their coffee...probably my favorite latte in my 3 day, 4 coffee shop exploring adventure in Boulder. The latte had perfect microfoam and the flavors were very full-bodied, and served at a good temperature (not burning hot like so many other places). They also have a Kyoto cold brew contraption that I've only seen in one other place in LA. I think they brew that once a day. The staff was pretty friendly and the interior opens out to the street so you can have a cuppa joe while people watching. It can be hard to find parking because as I said, its located super close to the downtown busy area. But I highly recommend you brave the parking and try their coffee! read more

This is my new favorite coffee shop! It is warm and quaint. I love the atmosphere because through all the hustle and bustle, I feel like people come here to slow down, enjoy a cup of coffee, converse with an old friend, or return often for a weekly coffee date. It is a small place that tends to always have people coming in and out. Not sure if it is the best study spot due to limited seating. I prefer to use this coffee shop as a study break before returning to the library. As for the menu, I have had several beverages that are usually paired with a bagel sandwich. Some of my favorites include their mocha, sherpa chai, chai milkshake (yes it's as good as it sounds!), and drip coffee. The waitstaff is friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoy this establishment and will continue to be a semi-regular. It is on Pearl but a little farther down which makes parking easier. I highly recommend stopping in if you are visiting Boulder or if you're a local and haven't checked it out yet. read more

I came here only because the burger spot next door wouldn't allow dogs in their outdoor space. Thankfully the Cup was welcoming and even had doggy water bowls outdoors! YAY I came here and ordered a medium black toddy and also got a couple of sodas (blood orange and grapefruit Izze and San Pellegrino). I waited at the counter for a while with my items and was waiting on being served. It took a long time before the girl behind the counter spoke to me and said, "what are you waiting for?" Wasn't it obvious? I am at the counter, I have sodas in my hand and I am standing there looking for someone to help me with my coffee order. The one feathered earring Toms wearing hippie worker who was asking the other worker when the next full moon was coming out was also too preoccupied to talk to me. It was unnatural how long it took my to get their attention. It wasn't even that they were busy with orders. They just seemed to be really absorbed in something. The coffee tasted fine and sodas are obviously fine but I wish the service was more on point. This place is still a-ok in my book because of their dog allowing policy. read more

As someone that grew up in Boulder, I used to love the cup. This all changed today. It's a Monday​, I have a 30 min lunch break before work summons me back so I wander​ into The Cup, order a bagel sandwich​ and a chai. $16 bucks later and think to myself I will grab this, go to my PT, then back to work till 7. Around the 10 min mark I wonder what is going on... Let me preface with there was no one in line. I walked right up where my friend was waiting. There was one girl on the line making food and one making drinks. It wasn't even close to busy. I used to be a server and a bartender and usually very chill about all things service until I am not. By the 20 min mark I was seriously​ over it. A bagel​ with avocado and lettuce and a chai. How is this taking 20 min! I ask the woman making it if she knew how much longer it would be and she said she had a lot of people in front of me. Very confused me wonders where they all are. 35 min later I finally get my bagel. It wasn't toasted and rock hard. I should have just left at this point but for $16 bucks I want to eat! I ask her to please remake it. Another 10 min go by, and again there is no one in line, I get my "bagel" sandwich. Which is 1/4 inch bagel. At this point I go up to the counter and just ask for a refund. 40 min for a chai and a bagel is not only embarrassing but unacceptable. I was told the manager can only do them and was not there. So if the manager ends up reading this, a refund would be amazing. That and more people making food. 40 min is even long for fine dining and should never happen at a bagel shop. So if you have an hour+ for coffee and a bagel then sign yourself right up. If you have ya know work and things to do I would pass. Let's get back to being the great shop I used to know! read more

Very nice place. Laid back atmosphere and nice staff. Smiles on their faces and really take their time making your drink. I ordered the mocha for drinking there and they put it in a nice wide coffee mug with saucer and I was watching the barista make it and he took his time so by the time I got it, it looked beautiful with a nice leaf design and tasted great. I had a seriously amazing breakfast burrito here. It was the chorizo and sweet potato one. I don't know if I was just that hungry, but woow totally worth the money. There were a ton of mocha options that I didn't see until I was waiting for the order, so be sure to check those out. If I didn't live so far away, I would probably come back and try every option. Finally mentioned (politely) to a person behind the counter that I had ordered a bagel with butter and had been waiting a very long time. She called out to someone else, a minute later a woman approached the end of the counter, tossed a bag onto the counter vaguely in my direction, turned and left as quickly as possible (bearing the hangdog look of someone who knows they did something wrong but doesn't want to face up to it). I said nothing, took the bag and left. A few minutes later and a ways away from the restaurant, I opened the bag to discover that, yes, there was a bagel in it. Not a huge coffee nerd, but I do enjoy a strong, flora black coffee from time to time. Tried just about every roaster in Boulder and these guys remain #1 for me personally. I'm still on the hunt for a better cup, but may have to venture out of Boulder County for that. Also, their scones are so fire.
