I bought a bag of day old bagels and immediately put them in the freezer to consume ad hoc. This was not a successful strategy. The bagel integrity is nonexistent when reheating in the oven or air fryer. I can't explain the texture as I have never experienced it. The middle of the bagel is missing as the exterior is so brittle and dry. This was unexpected but it really speaks to how poor these bagels are unless served freshly as a sandwich diversion, much like Call Your Mother. These bagels are fine if you are having a sandwich made with a freshly baked one but unremarkable as bagels themselves, especially reheated. I think this is the end of the road for me with Moe's because of Odell's and Rich Spirt in Denver. read more

Not only are the bagels great here, they do carry other baked goods too. But extra special is the availability of the sauces from Audrey Jane's Pizza Garage who are willing to sell to customers for their own uses. I have used their sauce on bucatini at home as I don't ever make my own pizza. You may wonder why the sauce is here at Moe's? Well when Audrey was growing she worked in the original Moe's with her family and later in life as an adult went on to open her own pizza place in the same shopping center in Boulder as the original Moe's. I've been coming here since 2008. I have never had a bad customer experience until Today. All three women working behind the counter were unfriendly and seemed irritated that we wanted food! My burrito was also HALF EMPTY. These burritos used to be packed and cost around 7$ and now they are almost 11'and half empty. I will not be coming here again as there are so many other burrito places to go to that are worth the money with better experience. Also the music was so loud they couldn't hear us. We often order Moe's bagels for our office celebrations. This location is convenient for a pick up. The service is not as prepared as the Longmont location. Every time I pick up I must remind them of parts of my order which are missing. Love the pumpernickel bagels here!! We stopped in for 2 - which in mid-afternoon - was all the had we took them home to be the buns on open face salmon burgers. The pumpernickel bagels are sublime. To tide us over til we got home to make the open face salmon burgers we split a poppyseed toasted and buttered bagel. Also good, but not our favorite - as the pumpernickel bagel is the best. I found this place because I looked for a drive-thru that was open early...this place came up. Their SEO is a liar because they're not a drive thru. It's just a normal coffee and bagel place in a strip mall. But we were short on time so we just went inside and got the items to go. Plain bagel and strawberry spread was great. My husband had a plain bagel with cream cheese and lox and he enjoyed it. The staff was nice and helpful for us obvious first timers. The place seems nice and like I'd enjoy studying there if I was in school. If we lived there, we'd go back. But please, correct the drive thru issue. That was a really lame discovery. In my humble opinion, this is the best bagel spot in Boulder. The food here is delicious and the menu also has an extensive selection. The ambiance is very nice here, it's a quaint little bagel shop that is relatively quiet, a good place to get work done (they have free wifi). The service here was extremely fast and friendly, I was greeted with a good morning and my food was out in less than 5 minutes. I was also a very big fan of the hot sauce they had there. I ate the most delicious breakfast bagel in my life at Moe's Broadway Bagel! Manny prepared my signature breakfast bagel with such finesse that I will be forever grateful! And I'm a trained Chef myself! The other 2 Bagels for the children were happily consumed. Best bagel shop west of New York City! We enjoyed the loaf of Challah for French Toast the following day, and appreciate the variety of breakfast bagels and bagel sandwiches on the menu, the wide variety of drinks available, Moe's delicious hot coffee as well as dynamite Cold Brew.
